I did enjoy reading this book but I am so confused…
Nothing in the description of the book happened?? She never wrote the email or sent it… it wasn’t the book I expected at all. It was fine but I hit 80% and realized i was kind of over it.
Yeah, I really liked this one. I didn’t think I would enjoy it because I’m not all about super promiscuous heroes and from the other books Remington seemed the worst of them all. While he was still VERY MUCH a ladies man, the author had him be not quite as bad as he seemed. I like that he was into Juniper before her makeover. Watching him fall for her, realizing it, and coming to grips with it was actually kind of a joy.
The dark spot really wasn’t that “dark” but I didn’t seem to mind that.
Overall, I liked Juniper as a heroine but she did seem to have some character inconsistencies. I found myself thinking, “there’s no way she would be bold enough to say that” several times.
The book REALLY could have benefited from an editor. There were quite a few typos and formatting problems but it didn’t really take away from the book for me.
I found I Won't Be In On Monday to be an amazing, spicy rom-com that I absolutely loved. I would highly recommend book 3 of The Annoying Hot Bosses Club.
I, also, won't be in on Monday because I need to re-read this book again!
JS Cooper is my new must read author. Her slow burn books are very steamy, she gives us a few good twists and turns throughout each book and we get relatable characters. Before this book came out, which I was highly anticipating, I read a lot of her anthology. It's all good stuff.
The Annoying Hot Bosses Club series is a must read. Though, this book could very well be a standalone book, you're going to want to read the first two in the series to get the full book reading experience.
Juniper and Remington or should I say, Junington or Remiper? Which sounds better?
Anyway, ship name aside, Juniper and Remington are extremely relatable characters. I want to start a hashtag of #IAmJuniper because as I read Juniper's internal dialogue, her hopes and feels, I couldn't help but see myself in her. So. Dang. Much. Her character development was refreshing and gave me hope. Even if she's a fictional character of a very steamy romance novel. I hope to find my Remington one day as well!
As for Remington, just like Juniper, I was anticipating this story and their character traits. I was wrong about Remington. He's more Loveable than I thought he would be, which is refreshing.
Juniper and Remington work.
The story is light, refreshing, adorable, with a dash of laugh out loud lines and a pinch of "You go, girl" moments.
This story is worth your time. I dare say, JS Cooper's previous books are also worth your time and space on your shelf slash Kindle.
BTW, I read this book in 36 hours. I needed to know what was next in their journey. I could hardly put it down. I hate when real life interferes with my reading hot steamy novels.

🖇️ "As far as I'm concerned, that's another word for dominant. Are you the librarian by day and dominatrix by night sort of gal?"
🖇️ "I do believe you're teasing me, Juniper. And if I'm being honest, I think I quite like it. I think I like it a lot. You're a wild one, aren't you?"
🖇️"What are you doing to me?" Juniper Hardman has infected me with her charm and sexiness, and I don't know what I'm going to do now.
▪️Oooo I LOVED Remington & Juniper's book! I really loved that this was a "Slow Burn" but at the same time it wasn't! Their personalities and the incredibly nice chemistry they had was absolutely phenomenal🥹 Their banter between each other was so incredibly entertaining at times, and when you could really tell through the book how they actually felt about each other. It just made the book so much better!🥰 Now I'm looking forward to reading about Liam and Gabe, I just KNOW their books will be absolutely incredible🖤
This is book three in The Annoying Hot Bosses Club series and it is Remington and Juniper’s story and omg it is definitely a must read. Remington is a lawyer and also one of the partners along with his best friends but even though he is handsome, witty, obnoxious, wealthy, sarcastic and a complete playboy and he only cares about himself and the money he can make and he definitely doesn’t do commitment or any type of relationships because he loved to play the field and have variety when it comes to women and this suited his lifestyle. Juniper is a legal assistant to Remington and he treats her like a gopher and makes her do so many jobs that are not in her job description and also she always feels invisible so now she is ready for her complete makeover that her friends are going to help her with so that she can hopefully find her own happiness and love at the end of it all. When Remington finds out that he is a dad to a seven year old daughter called Canyon and too say that he is shocked is a understatement and he doesn’t know what to do because he knows absolutely nothing about children and never wanted them but now he needs to step up and be the father that Canyon needs but he also needs some help so the person that he trusted is Juniper his compassionate and helpful assistant. The more time that Remington and Juniper spend together the stronger the attraction and chemistry grows and they are unable to deny how they feel and when they eventually come together it is absolutely explosive and sparks fly which completely shocks Remington because he had never felt like this before with a woman but do they have a future together or will it eventually just fizzle out and fall apart around them which will cause even more complications. I absolutely love this book so much and this group of friends are absolutely hilarious and you will be laughing so much but there is also a more serious side to this story and there loyalty, care, friendship to each other is so special and important to them all. Remington and Juniper are so perfect together and for each other and I am so glad that they eventually got the happiness and future that they both wanted and deserved because when you find that special someone everything else will fall into place and Canyon really stole the show so many times with her cuteness. I can’t wait to read the next book in this amazing and funny series.
I ended up skimming a lot of it. it’s ridiculous. Both of them are really annoying, and he’s a top lawyer? 😂
As what a shame. This could have been really good but it’s terrible. Remington is a man wh*re who gets Juniper who is his personal assistant to order all of women flowers, book his nights out, and a lot more that’s not in her job description. He tells one of his women that Juniper is his personal assistant and absolutely wouldn’t ever date her. Yet Juniper lusts after him and almost begs him for scraps of attention. It’s gross.
Juniper is a shy virgin, who wears thick glasses and thinks she’s ugly. She has no life outside of work, accept to see her dad. She complains all the time about the inappropriate jobs that Remington gives her to do. When Remington finds out he’s a father to a seven year old daughter, and the the mother leaves her with him for a couple of months, (Bizarre!) Remington is out of his depth. So he asks Juniper to help sort a bedroom out for his daughter, Erm what now? And JUNIPER DOES IT! She voluntarily does food shopping for them, voluntarily makes them breakfast, and then complains to her friends about how he makes her do things!!!! 😡😡😡 Juniper is supposed to be saving her virginity for a man she loves and then begs Remington the man wh*re to take her cherry. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE!!!!
There’s absolutely nothing about how his daughter gets home after school each day. It’s never mentioned that he takes her to the office, so where does she go? Remington has some really late work nights and again it never mentions where his daughter is. In fact after the initial weekend she’s barely mentioned again. Juniper also lets her single dad down again and again and doesn’t even let him know that she’s not coming and he’s cooking a special dinner for her! 😡😡😡😡
I didn’t like either of them. It’s really not well written at all. What a shame.
This book was cute but like honestly this was the first like contemporary romance novel where I thought the MMC was kind of a douche lol.
Juniper works for Remington. She's hired because she's kind of frumpy looking. He's openly admitted that he hired her because he doesn't want to be tempted by his assistant. He's a playboy. Always going out with different women and having juniper send them flowers or make reservations for him.
Juniper is a romantasy writer. She's also a virgin who has a huge crush on Remington.
Remington finds out that he has a 7 year old daughter. The mother was a one night stand and is going across the world to be a magicians assistant??? So fucking weird. But anyway she drops his daughter canyon off and is like see ya good luck.
Remington leans hard on juniper. Like calling texting her making her help him on the weekends while also like low key berating her. Like she hears him talking to a woman and he's like oh my assistant? You definitely don't have anything to worry about. But also like starts to have eyes for her. Kisses her in his office. Getting a little nervy. She actually ends up telling him she's a virgin and he like fools around with her but won't have sex with her because she wants it to be special.
He also ruins a date for her because he's jealous. Junipers friends Lila and skye from the first two books finally give her that make over they've been talking about since the first book.
She goes on the date and he's such an asshole that she ends up having Remington and canyon come save her. That's when he sees her new make over. And he's like smitten.
He ends up professing his love for her. They have sex and then that's it. The book ends with them together and out to dinner with friends lol?

I have read several of JS Cooper's books, and they never disappoint. I Won't Be In On Monday features a playboy hero, Remington, and his good girl assistant, Juniper. There were several twists and turns in this book that I didn't see coming, and I loved the progression of the characters' relationships both in and out of work and their banter is out of this world!
Remington, a confessed bachelor for life, with no desire to settle down, gets handed the biggest shock of his life when he finds out he has a long-lost seven-year-old daughter. To put a wrench into his bachelor ways, Canyon comes to live with him while her mom is away for work. Canyon is adorably cute and sassy and keeps Remington on his feet. As Remington and Juniper's relationship blossoms, it is clear that Juniper gives him the support he needs as he navigates his new role as a dad and Remington gives Juniper the confidence boost she needs to see herself in a different light.
The only thing I had trouble with in the story was Remington's not finding out about Canyon until she was seven. I honestly did not think the mom had a good enough reason to withhold that information, and I feel for Remington because he wasn't given a chance to step up to his role as dad earlier in the girl's life. Other than that I loved the story and would completely recommend it to others.
This book is easy to read (I read it in less than 24 hours), has some spicy scenes, and ends in a HEA.

Definitely worth the read. Witty, sarcastic, full of banter, and could not put it down. Wish it was a bit longer 😩. Although Juniper feels invisible to Remington - her boss she’s had a crush on - because of her appearance, he certainly noticed her alright. He sabotaged her upcoming date, got her angry by lying he has a date so she can babysit his long lost daughter, then rescued her from the disastrous date all because he was jealous. Remington’s life takes a turn when his long lost 7 year old daughter shows up in his life. Despite not wanting to let Remington take advantage of her, Juniper still helped him out when it came to him being a dad but stood her ground when it came to certain boundaries to prevent her from being his doormat. Remington is the typical f*boy who believes he is God’s gift to women and the best thing to ever walk on Earth so when Juniper tells him she is looking for a more meaningful connection with a man to lose her virginity to, he is conflicted because he wants to be what she deserves but is scared since he has never been a relationship before. Their relationship goes from employer employee to something more.

This is one of the worst books I’ve ever read. MMC was an absolute jerk and the FMC was desperate—with a capital D! A few words from the MMC, and she was ready to give him her virginity. The FMC never resigned, and her novel ( romantasy ) was trash! The MMC wasn’t even interested in the FMC, didn’t find her attractive, and treated her like she was his maid, and she allowed him to use her repeatedly without ever standing up for herself. She remained a doormat until the very end. The chemistry between them was nonexistent, and I disliked how she constantly talked down about herself. When she finally got a makeover (switching to contacts, getting a new haircut, and updating her wardrobe), she still wasn’t happy and wanted to return to her old self—which would have been completely fine if she hadn’t spent 90% of the book being desperate for change. I’m never reading another new book from this author again. This was my second or third book of hers, and the experience was disappointing, to say the least.

What an incredibly fun and interesting book to get lost in! Every moment of Remington and Junipers story is amusing, inviting and engaging. The undeniable chemistry between Remington and Juniper is HOT and sizzling! This office romance will give all those FEEL good vibes that we all enjoy. I really liked these characters. Remington comes off as a playboy bachelor who doesn’t want commitments. But this charming, dirty talking and possessive man’s life changes when he finds out that he’s a father and when he realizes is assistant is more than he thought he needed. Juniper is sassy, hard working and has the biggest heart. She really likes working for Remington but her feelings start to change for her annoying boss when she gets to know the man beyond the office. Escaping into this interesting, fascinating and enticing story was an absolute pleasure. So if like laughing, smiling, flirty banter, steamy sexy times and just an all around heart touching romance, you will be satisfied with Remington and Juniper’s remarkably heart felt story.
This story was funny with some of the interactions between Remington and Juniper.
The book kept my attention from the beginning to the end. Remington was a mess who always calling on his assistant Juniper. Juniper felt she was attracted and Remington didn’t see her as girlfriend/wife material. When he found out he had a seven year old daughter “Canyon “; he was falling apart. Who did he call to help his assistant Juniper. Juniper and her two friends went out to eat and the waiter started flirting with her and they set up a date night. Hen Juniper told Remington about his date, things changed. Because of his jealousy, he made up a lie to keep her from going. As long as he thought she wasn’t interested in someone else,Remington was happy. This is a great story and I like how the author shows communication between a father and his daughter. By the way she loved Juniper. I recommend reading this book. Even though I read out of order will read the remaining books in the series. I like the catchy titles.
No cheating. Spice 2.7/5, romance 100%. She's crushing but he falls fast and hard. The texting and banter was cute, it wasn't overly angsty. It was a quick turn around for him, growth in regards to his daughter and love. I felt like there were a few things mentioned but then over looked such as Canyon's bedroom getting decorated, he wanted help but then it isn't mentioned again really, his place being cold and not homely, and her book. I think she should've finished it, there should've been a bonus or simply a 2 years later. The book ended prematurely I felt, I was feeling the swoon then it was just wrapped up and done. Warning...there's no climax. The book is inching upwards on the rollercoaster, swoon, heat but generally there's a Climax where everything goes to "kaka", a break up or misunderstanding, someone gets cold feet etc That doesn't happen so you get that it's a tad flat like hallmark, you want the tears, you want the playboy to realize he can't live without her etc. A few things that needed improvement.
I won’t be in on Monday is Juniper and her annoying boss Remington’s story and a wild one it is when Remington finds out he is the father of a seven year old daughter, and mom has just decided to let him know. Conscripting Juniper his assistant to help him prepare his home for his daughter Canyon whose going to be staying with him for a few months while her mom is out of the country has Remington realizing just how much Juniper has his back in and out of the office. Loved this newest series entry with all it’s humor, family dynamics, and personal vulnerabilities that need healing desperately. Juniper and her besties are still in the midst of giving her the makeover she wants while Remington is adjusting to his new fatherhood that has him stressing big time! Great writing, well crafted characters, drama, and steamy romance made this a wonderfully entertaining contemporary read.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Remington's and Juniper's story started out like I thought it would but as the story goes we get a different twist. Remington finds out he fathered a little girl, Canyon, and doesn't seems to want to change his playboy ways at the beginning of the story. Juniper is over going above her duties as an assistant such as sending flowers to his many one nights and dealing with the many women calling to get through him. The crush that she has on him played a part in her helping in ways like helping clean up his apartment for Canyon to come stay there after Canyon's mom has to go on a work trip.
I like the interactions with Canyon and how that brought about Remington's crash course on being a dad to a child that is already old enough to have her own opinions. I think those interactions also opened Remington's eyes to truly see what kind of person Juniper is and what he has in front of him. I can't wait for the next book in the series.
He’s her boss…she’s his assistant…but then when a surprise daughter pops up on the scene Remington turns to Juniper for help because, well, because she is his assistant. The Juniper he gets the first time she came to his apartment to help him get ready for his 7 year old daughters arrival is a different Juniper that is his assistant at the law firm he is a partner for. She has more sass and she looks smoking hot in a t-shirt and leggings, how did he not notice her before. The Remington that Juniper encounters in the apartment is different when she first arrives but then shows his arrogant self but you need to remember that not everything is how we see or hear them. Read as the attraction builds and does all kinds of twist and turns and angst but don’t despair this book has the right amount of steam and a total HEA! I received this book as an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
J.S.Cooper has written another beautiful rom- com! Juniper Hardman is Mr. Remington Parker's assistant at a law firm that he is a partner at. She is a dowdy, nerdy looking young lady but very much on top of her job. Juniper is very smart and very put together when it comes to doing her job. Mr. Parker likes that about her and he likes that she is dowdy and nerdy as well because he isn't attracked to her at all. Or so he tells himself that he isn't! It is during this time of him Remington figuring out that he is attracked to her that he finds out that he is a father to a seven year old little girl named Canyon. Relying heavly on Juniper he finds his way through all of his role of being a father. Juniper goes through her own transformation and both of their lives change.
Highly recommend this delicious and hot as heck book!
This book is full of sexual chemistry between Juniper and Remington. He treats her like she is not his type of woman. She thinks she is unseen and mousy. In reality Remington find that Juniper is beautiful and sexy. He has been in denial for some time. To top it off he finds out he has a seven year old daughter. When he needs help he turns to Juniper. They discover that they really like each other too. This is their love story. The he other books in this series have been more comedic with their romance process . This one has amore serious feel to it. Juniper is accustomed to being in the back ground and shy by nature. Remington is described as a little stiff because he is not emotionally attached to anyone until Juniper and his daughter. It. Is a good storyline and a feel good story.
Oh my goodness what an amazing read this was! I was captivated from the very first page until the last.. Juniper and Remington’s story was an exciting, sexual chemistry, boss-assistant forbidden romance. Throw in an unexpected seven year old daughter that Remington didn’t know he had, and was left with him for several months while her mother who he had had a one night stand with, went overseas. He was totally lost, and once again called on Juniper to bail him out, coming to his house to clear out his second bedroom to make a start on creating a bedroom for his daughter Canyon. Watching their relationship bloom throughout the story was beautiful, and our author as always drops a few hints for the next book in the series in the epilogue.

I loved reading Remington and Juniper’s story. Remington always treats her poorly and makes her do all kinds of jobs for him that are definitely not in her job description. Meanwhile, Remington is basically a selfish jerk who doesn’t do relationships. Juniper lets her friends give her a makeover in the hope she can finally find her HEA while Remington finds out he has a seven year old daughter he never knew about. As always is the case when Remington needs something, he goes to Juniper for help learning how to be a father. As the two spend time together and bond with Canyon, they realize they have palpable chemistry and maybe what they were both needing and looking for was right in front of them all along. I Won’t Be In on Monday is a super sweet and steamy book that everyone should be able to enjoy.

Fighting the Inevitable - WOW OH WOW! Incredible, delightful, captivating and mind blowing are a few words to describe this amazing story, that had me totally enthralled from the first page and unable to stop reading until I reached the end. The book was so good, that I actually went back to chapter fifteen and started reading from there to the end again. I urge anyone looking to read a story that will leave your panties wet with all the flirting, sexual tension and spicy moments, to grab a copy of this book and make it your next Saturday indulgence. I received an advanced copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
Currently my favorite series and after a bit of a wait (completely understand!) I was provided an ARC of the next installment centered around Remington and Juniper. Juniper was always so hard on herself believing she was simply a librarian type (no offense to librarians, I know many who are very good looking) and was unnoticed by everyone. Little does she realize that everyone saw how beautiful she truly was, her friends/co-workers, Liam, and even Remington, all before she had her make-over. That make-over was just the icing on the cake.
I liked Remington - he did like Juniper before she changed her appearance and saw her as she really was inside.
Overall I loved the book and probably rushed through it because I couldn’t wait any longer.
This is a funny and take no crap story about Juniper who is the assistant to the handsome and sometimes into himself Remington. Remington has no idea that his man-whore ways are about to take a dive and the one person he is counting on well she's about to put him in his place. Juniper is invisible to the opposite sex and she knows this but is tired of it and enlists her friends to help her out. Remington just found out about his kid and now he asks Juniper to help. But he's about to get more than he bargained for when Juniper steps up and tells him like it is. These two will have a battle of attraction, but it will come down to one thing Remington's life with his daughter. Can he have everything he didn't think he ever wanted? Or will he lose the one woman that puts him in his place?
I was so underwhelmed. It started out quite funny and I enjoyed Juniper and her personality. She was writing a book and I was waiting to see how that turned out. The addition of a surprise 7 year old seemed promising. But then all of a sudden it was just about Remington pursuing her and wham, they love each other and neither one had any personality anymore. The book she was working on went nowhere. The 7 year old was no longer really involved in the story and the interaction with her father, though only on the phone, just flamed out. The last 1/4 felt extremely rushed and I just wasn’t interested in the book or characters anymore. It seemed to have promise, but it feels like so much was skipped over. Too bad.
It’s perfect to curl up on the sofa on a cold winter day!!!
Have you ever read a book and just completely fell in love with the story? Like you don't want to adult because you just need to keep reading? That is this book for me. I loved it SO MUCH. I didn't expect to love it this much, I'm obsessed. The characters were perfection, and I fell in love with the plot instantly and did not want to put it down at all, and now all I want is more. Can’t wait to read more from this fantastic author. Definitely pick this one up. It’s perfect to curl up on the sofa on a cold winter day! Happy reading
I was definitely right when I thought I was going to like Junipers story the best. She was so sweet and just so much like me in that she was not into makeup didn’t really know how to dress like a girl because she was raised by daddy but she was a knockout girl when she actually got dolled up. Really it’s not about looks though which Juniper figured out. The right guy will want you in fancy clothes or in comfortable clothes or even in clothes that are worn out from working hard on cleaning the yard or whatever. I am just glad Remington figured out what he had before he lost her to his stupidity.
Jaimie has done it again with another couple at the law firm. There must be something in the water or the coffee. Remi and Juniper were so, so perfect for each other. It took a while for Remi to get on board with his attraction to Juniper, but once that happened the sparks sure did fly. It was wonderful that Remi saw the real Juniper before her make over. I loved the whole series so far and I cannot decide which couple is my favorite. It is always great when friends from the previous stories make an appearance in subsequent books. So looking forward to the next book in the series. I received a copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
This is Juniper and Remington’s story and I really liked it. Of course, we get to catch up with the previous couples in this series too, so that was a win. Remington gets a shocking surprise and learns he’s a father to Canyon, who is seven. Juniper is his assistant and he turns to her for help to get a room ready for her arrival. Juniper may or may not have a crush on him, but he’s never thought romantic thoughts about her. Or has he? I’m not going to leave any spoilers, so grab your copy and see what happens.
I received an advanced reader copy of this book and this is my voluntary and honest review.
