A három ikernővér, Eve, Angie és Noelle utoljára huszonöt évvel ezelőtt járt családjuk asheville-i gerendaházában, ahol annak idején minden karácsonyukat töltötték.
A három nővér hátrahagyja rohanó nagyvárosi életét, a karrierépítéssel, gyerekneveléssel, házastársi konfliktusokkal töltött mindennapjait, és útnak indul a hegyi kunyhó felé, ahol olyan meglepetés vár rájuk, amire álmukban sem gondoltak volna.
A Karácsony a kunyhóban szívmelengető és vicces történet a családi kötelékek erejéről, elengedésről és újrakezdésről - mindez hamisítatlan, mézeskalács- és fenyőillatú karácsonyi hangulatban.
I started listening to this when it snowed here in KY the other day. This is not the typical book I read, but I really enjoyed it. It was like listening to a Hallmark movie. I loved the strong theme of family values.
This was just the coziest, sweetest family Christmas story ❤️ Sisters, a cabin, a little family history and no major drama. And there are more in the series ~ they all make up on Christmas season!
This was a nice family christmas novel. I liked the setup and how we got to learn about the family and their history. There were a few moments that made me roll my eyes, but that's fine. I'll eventually continue reading this series.
I love both authors on their own, but together, they give us a holiday trilogy that will warm your heart. Lots of feels, discovery, and the love only family can provide.
Centered around triplets Eve, Angie, and Noelle, we meet them on a girl's Thanksgiving. They get an email from their Aunt Elizabeth asking them to come to the cabin for December. It has been twenty five years since they have been together here. As they begin the month-long stay, they learn more about their lives, reflect on the past, and plan for the future. I am looking forward to the next book.
Thank you to the Authors for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.
Super cute, heartfelt book. A great read for the holidays. Especially if you live in WNC. It was very enjoyable. I look forward to reading the others to see how these sister’s stories unfold.
The author was too ambitious. Triplet sisters, born on Christmas, all struggling with separate issues, and all resolved during a visit to their family's Ashville, NC cabin. More far-fetched than your average Hallmark Christmas movie.

I searched Kindle Unlimited for "Hallmark Christmas," and this was one of the top results. It's a delightful start to a trilogy, especially if you've ever been to Asheville. It doesn't stand alone as a novel, but since the other books are published, you can read them all at once.
The first few chapters are a bit clunky with exposition, but once the characters and setting are established, the chapters are fun and easy to read. I'm excited for the next book!
Harlequin romance at its best. 3 sisters, triplets, are beckoned back to a cabin they have not been to in 25yrs. The year their parents were killed 2 days after Xmas. But, their aunt beckons them back to spend the month of December. Also, to celebrate their Xmas birthday. Meet Eve, Angela, and Noelle. This book ends open, so to find out all their stories, you are going to have to read the series.
Basically a hallmark movie in book form, set in one of my favorite places in the world. The way I hollered when they mentioned Rocky’s Hot Chicken Shack. 😂 This one hooked me enough that I’m excited to finish the rest of the series!
What a sweet Christmas book! It doesn’t get to Christmas (need to read book two) but encompasses the magic of the season while going through past family history. The sisters catch up and each one embarks on a path that might make their future look a little different. Love the little cliffhanger at the end!
Individually, Hope Holloway and Cecelia Scott have penned some of my favorite series of the past few years. Together, these two authors have merged their talents to mix up heart-tugging holiday magic in a new trilogy that is not to be missed.
Set in Asheville, North Carolina (these mountains are a character all on their own), Holloway and Scott have created a cast of multi-generation characters who engaged my interest and emotions, immersing me in the ups and downs of their lives, relationships, fears, and dreams with plenty of laughter, and a few other emotions, along the way. The steam is low but the emotion is soul deep as relationships are tested, long-held beliefs are challenged, new opportunities are presented, and romance is on the horizon if certain characters have the courage to take the leap. I'm all-in and eager to take this three-book journey with Eve, Angie, Noelle and the rest. As the triplets approach their 40th birthday, they all find themselves at a crossroads in their lives. I'm eager to discover which paths they choose, where those decisions take them...and if six-year-old Sawyer ever finds that elusive bear.
The Asheville Christmas Cabin (27 Oct. 2023) is going straight to my keeper shelf (where I'm sure it will be revisited) and I've already marked my book calendar for the next two installments: The Asheville Christmas Gift (10 Nov. 2023) and The Asheville Christmas Wedding (1 Dec. 2023).
This was the perfect palate cleanser between all my thrillers. It reminded me of a Hallmark Christmas movie. It’s part of a series and I enjoyed it so much that I’ve already started the second book.
This is a wonderful, heartwarming, and emotional book just perfect for the Christmas season. Triplets Eve, Angel, and Noelle, born at Christmas, come together for a shared Christmas/40th birthday at the family cabin with their aunt, unaware of the changes and opportunities each will encounter. It’s the first of a trilogy that centers on family, love, happiness, and what’s important in life. I was hooked from the beginning and am excitedly waiting for the next book!
Oh my goodness, this book was amazing! It’s a good, clean feel-good story. I haven’t enjoyed a book this much in a while. It helped a lot that one of the sisters visited Biltmore House! I highly recommend this book!! Beth
Such a sweet, cozy, loving, and warm story!! I loved this book! She definitely ended it with a plot twist to keep you wanting more! I am so rooting for everyone in the book!
The Asheville Christmas Cabin, the last holiday-themed book I’ll read this season, caught my attention through the countless book-related emails I receive daily. When my husband and I lived in Raleigh, North Carolina, we made regular trips to Asheville. Although we no longer reside in North Carolina, we still live relatively close and visit often. When I came across the book’s title, I couldn’t resist checking it out. The description sounded delightful, and I was thrilled to add it to my holiday reading list.
The Asheville Christmas Cabin, the first book in the Carolina Christmas series by Hope Holloway and Cecelia Scott, follows the story of triplet sisters who receive a mysterious invitation from their jet-setting aunt to spend December at their family’s cozy cabin nestled in North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains. The cabin holds both cherished childhood memories and painful ones. Amidst the festive lights, snowy vistas, and family revelations, the sisters confront personal struggles such as stress, failing marriages, and lost dreams. Through these challenges, they rediscover their sisterly bonds, find sweet romance, heal, and embrace the magic of new beginnings.
I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this book, from its captivating cover to its enchanting Christmas-themed narrative. Each of the main characters was endearing and easily relatable. I appreciated how the unique conflicts faced by each sister were also relatable to one another. The scene descriptions were absolutely beautiful, painting vivid pictures of the setting. While I understand that this book is categorized as women’s fiction, I believe it would be more accurately described as a cozy holiday romance.
One of the highlights of the book was the inclusion of Biltmore Estate as a significant thread that connected to one of the sisters. Biltmore is an incredible place to visit, and I have fond memories of my first visit as a young girl. I’ve made numerous return trips since then. I’ve also read a few books about Biltmore and the Vanderbilt family, which I’ve linked on my blog for those interested in learning more. (See below)
For me, this was an idyllic holiday read that I thoroughly enjoyed while cooking, baking, and preparing for family holiday gatherings. I’m incredibly grateful for discovering this book and eagerly anticipate reading more books in the Carolina Christmas series during the next holiday season.
I borrowed the audiobook of The Asheville Christmas Cabin from my local library using Hoopla. Leslie Howard’s delightful narration brings this festive and family-oriented story to life.
I have photos and additional information that I'm unable to include here. It can all be found on my blog, in the link below. A Book And A Dog
