Cute "softer" mc romance
School teacher takes a walk on the wild side with her friend at a biker bar. Mason spots her and it's and instant attraction. Despite the danger immediately following their meet cute (I mean during the meeting lol) they still are drawn together. There is a 3rd act break up but it's short lived.
Cute "pretty worded" MC Romance story. I will probably circle back for a pallet cleanser and to see how her friend and masons brother story progresses.

This simultaneously insta love is a bit sugary sweet for me! Everything was moving way faster than it should be. Feeling intrigued to read the next.

This book did not strike me as realistic. Granted, I know it's fantasy, but a dedicated elementary teacher putting herself in harms way intentionally? Even the club didn't feel realistic. Then he invites her to a party that's for "club only". No, doesn't happen. Then he's gone and there's no explanation... I just couldn't find it in me to keep going.

I really didn’t enjoy this one. It was love at first sight and they are each others homes over and over again and I love yous until stuff “starts” to get too dangerous and he breaks up with her and then she puts her foot down and doesn’t let him and he just accepts it. And then in the end he has tattoos on his face but the cover didn’t have them 🙄

Is this author an adult? This book is juvenile and needs major help. It needs an editor and a ghost writer. It is terrible and I do not recommend.

OMG!!! WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.
Mason and Carlie met when her friend Jenny Piston drags her to Perdition, Iron Reapers bar. As soon as Carlie walks in Mason watches her every move. Carlie's friend walks her over to met Mason when she notices him watching her. When a fight breaks out Mason takes Carlie outside and then kisses her. Six days later, Carlie is wondering why Mason hasn't reached out to her. Suddenly she hears him pull up outside her of her house. Mason brings a necklace Carlie didn't even realizes she lost. Mason keeps an eye on Carlie he doesn't want a rival MC going after her. Mason invited Carlie over for a cookout and she debates whether to go. Carlie goes to the cookout but halfway through Iron Reapers are alerted to a rival MC coming into their territory. Mason leaves Carlie with the other old ladies, and she gets to know them. When Mason comes back he carries Carlie to his bedroom then makes love to her. When Carlie wakes up the next morning she doesn't know what she's doing so she goes home. Carlie needs to think about what she's doing with Mason. Mason walks up and finds Carlie gone, after he finds out she went home he grabs her breakfast. Mason and Carlie curl up on her couch and fall back to sleep. Mason takes Carlie on a ride to show her around on the back of his bike. Carlie finds out about a charity run that Iron Reapers is doing for children so she asks Mason if she can help out. A few days later Mason has to head out after the rival MC wants to met up with Iron Reapers. Mason doesn't want to put Carlie at risk so he leaves her home. When Mason comes back to Carlie he tells her things between them need to end. After Mason walks out of her house, Carlie slides down the wall and cries. Carlie's friend Jenny comes and finds her and asks her what is she going to do about Mason. Mason is drinking to forget about Carlie. When Mason's VP Dagger tells him he needs to let it off, they get into a fist fight. Afterwords when the door to the bar swings open Mason doesn't even have to look to see it's Carlie. Carlie tells Mason she's going to fight for them and he wants her back. Mason wants to end this war with the rival MC, so they ride. After fighting with the rival MC Mason and the Iron Reapers were able to shut them down. Mason heads back to Carlie, where he takes her to his bedroom. Good story and characters.
The story was good. It’s starts with Jenny and Carlie going to Perdition a biker bar. A rival gang comes in starting a shootout. Mason the club President keeps Carlie safe and that starts there romance. Carlie had just broken up with her boyfriend who called her boring and set in her ways. Turns out Carlie was ready for adventure. I would have liked if her boyfriend had bumped into the new version of Carlie but that didn’t happen. The story was good but got confusing at times. The author would write a fight scene then change the POV and when you came back the fight was different. An example is Mason is shooting at Walker and hits him and he falls face down. Then you change the POV and Dagger talks. You come back to the scene and now Mason fights hand to hand with Walker instead of shooting him. It was like the Author didn’t know which scene she liked best so used them both. This happens a couple of times. Overall the story was well written. Jenny disappears from the story for most of the book and pops up at the end. Since she was Carlie’s best friend and introduced her to Mason I expected her to talk to Jenny about her romance but thats never mentioned maybe because Jenny is in the next book.

I really enjoyed this MC romance and it was a great introduction to the Iron Reapers MC. School teacher Carlie is reluctantly taken to notorious biker bar, Perdition by best friend Jenny. She catches the eye of the Iron Reapers MC President Mason Blackstone, and as soon as she met his dark intense eyes she was hooked. Mason rules over the town of Jackson with total authority, but a rival MC club is causing trouble both for the Iron Reapers and the town. As Mason and Carlie’s relationship develops amidst the danger, she must come to terms with being the Pres’s ‘old lady’. Along with personal insecurities and external forces both Carlie and Mason have a choice to make regarding their relationship, as long as they both survive. The chemistry between Mason and Carlie sizzled off the page, leading to some steamy scenes. Both the characters and setting came vividly to life through the descriptive narrative and I felt fully immersed in the Iron Reapers MC’s world. I look forward to future books in this new series by a favourite author of mine.

First time reading this author, and I am glad I did. I enjoyed Carlie and Mason’s story. Their connection was immediate, witty, endearing, steamy, and bumpy. As they navigate through their relationship, the plot has twists and turn that really had me engaged throughout. “Mason” was an entertaining, page-turner book with romance, steam, HEA, and wonderful characters. This MC romance makes a great start to the series and I look forward to reading more from this author and this series. I would recommend this book. I love Elisa Leigh and her MC romances, but this one seemed a little different. There were a lot of quick POV changes that didn't seem necessary.

Be careful when you walk on the wild side
Mason is the first book in the Iron Reapers MC series. I have read other books by this author so was interested to see where she took a MC romance series, as the previous stories were light and smexy fun. This is an opposites attract, insta-lust/love, age-gap, MC, darker/innocent romance between Carlie Meadows and Mason Blackstone. These two characters should not fit together but yet they do in a lot of ways. This is a good first book in the series and introduces the main players and world of the MC. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

I have enjoyed reading this start to this series, I believed in the connection and chemistry between Carlie and Mason, I enjoyed seeing them come together and explore their feelings and work through some tough times with support from family and friends. I liked the light and dark, the being who you're supposed to be, and I am looking forward to seeing where this series goes and cannot wait to read Jenny's story next.

Is their two Walkers? (Spoilers)
I wanted to like this book, its a quick palette read between bigger series books. I don't know if its an digital error if it would have been the same in a printed copy. The writing is off. How is Walker killed in one chapter but then two chapters later we are chasing him and only beat him up and leave him for the cops?? Another is the chapters and labeled with the name of POV how am I reading Mason's POV in chapter nineteen when the writing is in Carlies? If it wasn't such a short book, I would have dnf it.

Holy biker babe!!! What a ride!!! Mason, has twists and turns, spice and sweet. Mason, a rough biker, who knew his life was for his club, the Iron Reapers, and as President he didn’t have time for love. Cue Fate! Because just when he least expected it, sweet, innocent, Carlie Meadows walked into his bar! The sparks flew and suddenly, two hearts were beating as one!!! There is angst, and a heartbreaking scene, and redemption and claiming. I loved it!

Love that we got a total.opposites attract. School teacher and MC Pres couldn't be any different! But yet their attraction was immediate and even though there were struggles along the way they found their HEA.
Enjoyed the storyline, the steam level was good, and Elisa set it up so more books can follow. Looking forward to Jenny's story, who I think she is getting paired with was not who I originally thought.

Great MC romance. Mason and Carlie were instantly connected when she went to Perdition for the first time. She was wary of a new relationship, especially with the pres of a motorcycle club. Loved how he showed her how much he wanted her, but didn’t want to involve her in their war with a rival club. She showed him her strength when the trouble came to their doorstep. Quick read.

Mason's whole world shifts when Carlie enters their bar, and he will never be the same. When trouble comes calling from their rival Carlie is caught right smack in the middle will Mason and his MC brothers be able to keep her safe from their rivals. This action-packed MC romance had me all caught up in Mason and Carlie from page one.

Very enjoyable read!
This is the first time I have read this author's work and it definitely won't be the last. I fell in love with Mason and Carlie. This book has steam and some danger too, which the club takes care of. I was very happy to find another author who does not write about cheating. I started this book this morning and read straight through until I reached the happily ever after.

Absolute instalove! Lives changed in a breath. Carlie is sweet and innocent. Mason is the president of a motor cycle club. He is by definition tough and hard. And then they meet and both their lives change. Sweet and steamy and full of alphas!.

Getting outta your own way. A tale of 2 people looking for something or maybe not looking at all and finding what they’ve always wanted. Can love work out when you’re worlds apart? Lots of challenges for the characters to overcome. Entertaining with lots of action. Kinda what you’d expect from a motorcycle club. A well written story that seems to turn its own pages.

Fantastic story from start to finish! The characters were well-developed, and I especially enjoyed the chemistry between Mason and Carlie. Their relationship added a perfect balance of tension and romance that kept me hooked throughout. Highly recommend for anyone who loves a good romance with strong characters

Great story!
This was a great start to the Iron Reapers MC series.
Mason and Carlie have a connection from the beginning. On the way to their HEA, we get mystery, action, MC drama, a tiny bit of personal drama and some spicy good stuff.
The epilogues are fantastic and a great glimpse into the immediate future. Looking forward to the next!

This was Mason and Carlie’s story. Amidst the turmoil of rival motorcycle clubs and personal insecurities, will Carlie and Mason navigate the treacherous path to each other's embrace? Or will their love be thwarted by external forces, condemning them to a fate of eternal separation? It was an intriguing and suspenseful read. And voluntarily leaving this review.

A Solid Three Stars ***
This is a cute story with a lot of sass and vinegar. The chemistry between the two main characters is almost palpable.
There is a bit of everything you want from an MC novel. The dynamics of the MC is different than other books I have read in this trope but whose to say what is reality…it all could be.

I hate books where the hero breaks things off and the woman chases after him to beg to take her back. Some time passes after he dumps her and she goes back to his club house to see him flirting with a woman and still proceeds to mark her territory on a man who had no plan to try and her back. This story was terrible, don’t recommend.

I love all of Elisa's men that she writes about but I think Mason might just be top dog now. When Carlie walks into the club, Mason is hooked. Together the brave the storms. I can't wait for more stories.
