Dr. Mark Galloway and physical therapist Natalie Carlson never thought they would see each other again. They had an intense, torrid relationship that ended poorly because of their age difference and because she didn’t want more. Now they find themselves working together again. The flames quicky reunited between them, resulting in a surprise pregnancy. Can they work together when everything goes wrong? A lawsuit and a serious criminal case challenge them like never before.

The writing is skilled and loaded with emotion. This suspense/medical romance story had me going through a lot of emotions: sadness, shock, fear, disappointment, hope, relief, and happiness. This couple went through an emotional rollercoaster as they dealt with their issues. This couple fought hard and loved each other harder. Their past hurts left them not trusting each other when they needed each other the most. Piker did a great job of building a believable world and characters. The plot was well paced and had unexpected twists that were sometimes downright scary! This book does not disappoint!

This contemporary romance is page-turning with exceptional world-building and characters that exude power/confidence, are captivating, and realistic. Their journey is enthralling with the doctor and second chance baby, explicit romance that is consumed by steamy, sizzling passion, lust, desire, and spice with all the feelings to leave readers breathless and begging for more, a second chance medical workplace age-gap romance engulfed with suspense in a small-town, drama, heartfelt emotions, action, adventure, mysterious behavior, deception, impeccable chemistry that is so hot readers will need a fire extinguisher, things are about to get messy... I recommend reading this book by an extraordinary author who knows how to captivate her readers' hearts and attention with the doctor in a second chance explicit romance that is sure to transport readers into a world that is wild and unforgettable.

Natalie wanted a change so she left to Chicago from Arizona for a new beginning .
She was a Physical Therapist she had an interview into knight Memorial orthopedic center.When she entered the office to meet the medical team she couldn’t believe that her ex boyfriend was one of the members.
Eight months before she left him because he wanted to be serious and she wasn’t ready.
When they began to work together they felt the connection between them but he was afraid of her that she could break him again.
Natalie was going good at her work but a couple make charges of negligence because of their son.

This book is a good story to read Natalie will meet with a lot of things in her way that she’s willing to fight.
But will she going to win Mark’s heart?

OMG 😱 this was a great story. It was a steamy page turner and the suspense was really intense. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t even put it down. Mark and Natalie romance was totally complicated and exciting. The chemistry between them was sexual tension and the physical intimacy was so strong and tense. With a lot of surprises and special moments. And when they saw each other again fireworks were sparked in the air between them sexual energy. One night with him will change her life forever in this moment.

I hope that you are well rested because this HOT medical romance book is going to keep you up late finishing it. Natalie is starting a new job as a physical therapist and at the same hospital is her ex-boyfriend Mark who is a doctor there as well. What starts out as them arguing about things leads to their feelings for each other reigniting a flame of passion and romance. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED reading this book by Brandy. The intense storyline delivers some heat, suspense and unexpected situations along the way.

Will they get a second chance to rekindle their relationship and will it lead them to a happily ever after. This medical romance had me glued to the pages.

This was a super short story with so much potential for more. I know they were second chance romance, but wow they moved from bumping heads to possibly going behind his back for a project to they are planning a wedding and pregnant. I really wish there was a bit more leading up to the leading up to the evitable. I was still a sweet tale though with creativity.

I really tried to love this book. It could have been sooo good. It just felt like there was minimal emotions and just kind of blah. There were words missing, parts that weren’t adding up, like Natalie was on the phone with Mark, but they exchanged looks? It’s like the author rushed this story, and gave no second thought to the editing and/or words missing.
