Gary does an exemplary job of making us stop and think about the heroes we know and the ones we don’t. He gives us a moment to check ourselves and remind ourselves that there are many heroes in keeping our country free and strong. I particularly liked how he brings the family perspective in. We sometimes forget how each of these heroes were husbands, wives, brothers, sisters, etc. and that a family is proud of their hero. I recommend taking a few minutes to read this book, it really is a quick read, and reminds ourselves of those that have come before us and what we too can contribute to this country and world.
