From New York Times bestselling author Kristen Proby comes When You Blush, a small-town, forced-proximity romance set in Bitterroot Valley!
Blake
I don’t do relationships, but I’m excellent at casual hookups. That’s not to say I’m a jerk. Not at all. I respect women—all women—and I know the value of love. But I’m married to my job as a physician. In fact, I’m married to the hospital, having a full-time affair with the clinic, and my family is my side piece. I don’t have time for a relationship with a woman.
But then the most beautiful human I’ve ever laid eyes on walks onto my plane, and my world tilts. Thanks to a Montana snowstorm, I spend one incredible night with Harper, but wake up alone. She never told me her last name. She’s just … gone. It would figure that the one woman I could see myself breaking my own rules for is the one I can’t have.
Harper
It’s time for me to come home to Montana to help take care of my dad and pick up the slack for my siblings. I’ve been gone for a long time, but this beautiful corner of the world is my home. I’m excited to start my job as a NICU nurse at Bitterroot Valley General and begin a new chapter in my life. A fresh start. A clean slate.
Then he walks into the room, and it’s suddenly hard to breathe. Blake was the one-night stand who still haunts my dreams. The man can do things. Amazing things. But I never thought I’d see him again. Okay, that’s a lie. I knew he worked at this hospital, but he’s an ER doctor. I’m in a different department, so I planned to avoid him. Yet that didn’t last more than the first hour of my first shift.
Now, he’s pursuing me and saying things like forever. But with a past like mine, can I trust that he won’t tire of me and leave? Or is this finally my happily ever after?

I have just loved the whole Montana "world" that Kristen Proby has created. I look forward to each new release SO much. She has become a comfort author for me with the genuine warmth, welcoming small town, steamy romance, and enjoyable characters. I just love spending time in Bitterroot Valley and living a little slice of life with this place.
This book was no exception, in fact, it's one of my favorite I've read thus far. I enjoyed Harper and Blake so much. They start with a one night stand, and then when Harper ends up moving to the area to be closer to her adopted family, she starts working at a NICU nurse in the hospital where Blake works in the ER.
They don't have a lot of time for romance, but Blake is determined to get Harper to give him a chance. Their chemistry is amazing and they are compatible in so many ways. She understands the work he does and his dedication to it. She loves how he takes care of her and they can support one another in so many ways.
I just found this so wholesome and also steamy in just the right ways. I can't wait for the upcoming novella and the final Blackwell novel coming soon.
What to expect: -ER Doctor x NICU Nurse -One Night Stand -Small Town -He Falls First & Harder -Found Family -Surprise Pregnancy
This was narrated in the dual style by Stella Hunter & Jason Clarke. They were matched quite well with this story and I listened to this audio all in one go!
5 Stars 3 on the spice scale

*Thank you to Must Love Audio and the author for an ALC of this title.*
Well holy heck Kristen Proby, top that one I dare you.
Blake Blackwell is officially in my book boyfriend hall of fame and I will accept 0 criticism on him of this book.
This was a banger and I am but a puddle for Blake and Harper.
✨ Small Town ✨ One Night Stand ✨ Doctor x Nurse ✨ Surprise pregnancy ✨ He Falls First
Okay so I loved this book with my whole soul. I love a man that falls first, and Blake Blackwell didn’t just fall, this man RAN headfirst into wanting everything with Harper. down bad boyfriend thy name is Blake.
Honestly this series is just so good. Blake and Harper had so much chemistry from the very second they met, but also watching them connect on a deeper level and really find their perfect match… I was kicking my feet and goggling the whole time.
I also really loved how Kristen balanced the romance with their very real and stressful positions.of you have time go thank a medical professional.
And the surprise pregnancy, done so so well, and done perfectly rly for them.
Ans can we talk about the spice, because good Lordy 🥵🥵🥵🥵. I listened to this one and I swear, please proceed with causation while listening in public. I very nearly melted right on the floor of a home goods. It was just that food.
Perfect book, perfect audio. Just perfect all around!
Mannnnnn this was so close to five stars and it would’ve been fine stars if it hadn’t been for the epilogue! The “epilogue” wasn’t about the mc’s. It was in the H’s brothers pov and setting up for his book 😐 this is one of my biggesttttt pet peeves, I HATEEEE epilogues that have nothing to do with the main couple and set up the next book. It’s very irritating
I really loved the mcs as a couple and I’m sad I didn’t get to read an epilogue about them 🙁especially because the ending of the book felt rushed. We don’t even get to see her family’s reaction to her being pregnant. Also I wasn’t going to complain about this because it’s really insignificant (which is actually why it irritated me), but since I’m already irritated about no epilogue I’m going to complain. The book did soooo good about not having his past hookups in the book and I was so happy about this, but then all of a sudden we get the RANDOMEST like couple paragraphs of a girl he used to hookup with coming in to his clinic and him checking her heart. Like….? What was this scene for? She’s never seen or brought up again after this, so why did we as the readers need to read about this? It was literally the most random thing and I have no idea why it was included. That was literally the only girl from his past that ever showed up, but I don’t understand why she needed to be introduced at all.

#Review: *When You Blush* - Kristen Proby - ARC [18+] 4.4/5✨ 3.5/5🌶️
Time for another book from 'Blackwells Of Montana', this being the 4th one from it. Thank you for this e-ARC, Kristen and Valentine Pr!
Harper was pretty disappointed after she found out about what her ex boyfriend did. Of course, things have pilled up over the years and that made Harper to just leave that life behind and move on. When an emergency appeared in the airplane she was in, being a nurse, Harper started doing what she knew best but there was also a doctor present, one who stole her attention.
Blake was the handsome doctor and he also felt super attracted to Harper. That connection led to a steamy one night stand, one which would leave one of them a little disappointed. Neither of them even thought that they will ever see each other again but guess what? They will be seeing one another more than ever, ending up in the same small town of Silver Springs. What is going to happen next with these two, when the tension between them was still super strong?
This book was for sure suuuper hot, Blake and Harper taking part of some really steamy scenes. They had a huge lust for each other and were pretty crazy for being close to one another as much as they could. But being all the time in the hospital made it pretty difficult. Something I hated was the way Harper's ex boyfriend treated her, how he was a total prick, always having something to say about Harper and nothing positive. That's why I loved how different Blake was comparing with her ex and how his obsession was such a great thing for her, cherishing Harper in the right way for the first time in her life.
I had a nice time reading this book, liking the way the emotional, the fun and steamy parts intertwined in this story. The family and friends were the ones who brought the good times and I liked that! Maybe I felt like something was missing but I cannot put a finger on what exactly was that, but it was a great read overall.
Just finished When You Blush on audio and I’m still swooning! 🥹 Jason Clarke + Stella Hunter were absolute perfection narrating Blake and Harper—seriously, their chemistry leapt off the speakers. This is book four in the series (but can totally be read as a standalone), and it has everything I love: a meet cute on a flight, small town charm, forced proximity thanks to bad weather, and even more sparks when one night changes everything. I adored how much they understood each other—he’s a doctor, she’s a nurse—and their supportive families and the Montana backdrop made the whole story feel even richer. Spicy yet so sweet, this installment is exactly why I love this series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
📝 Tropes:
🌲 Small Town 🏠 Forced Proximity 🔥 One Night Stand 👶 Surprise Pregnancy 💘 He Falls First
I have fallen in love with Kristen Proby's writing and small town world after starting this series this year. When You Blush stole my heart because it was such a sweet, small town, low angst romance. If you love when a hero falls first, you will adore Blake Blackwell!
Blake and Harper met on a flight and spent an amazing night together, but Harper was gone when he woke up in the morning, and he never forgot her. Now, Harper has moved to town to help out her adoptive father and family. She is a NICU nurse in the same hospital where Blake works as a doctor.
Blake is floored to see her again and immediately decides to pursue her. They have such amazing chemistry and a beautiful connection. They are both busy with their careers, and Harper still has some hang-ups from her previous relationship. Blake was so patient and understanding with her issues. He would not let her push him away at any point and completely supported her.
I love how his family and their spouses all accepted Harper into their fold.

AUDIOBOOK REVIEW 🎤Dual narration by Jason Clarke & Stella Hunter
This was narrated by Jason Clarke and Stella Hunter. This duo was perfect together, and Jason Clarke will always be one of my favorite male narrators. He was extra swoony as this smitten, sexy doctor.
Thank you to Must Love Audio for providing the ARC.
CW: loss of baby (NICU job), assault, previous abusive relationship
I swear I say this every single time, but Kristen writes the absolute BEST swoon-worthy men. These blackwells fall HARD and I eat it up every👏single👏time. I think this was one of her spiciest books too personally. Dr. Blake Blackwell has a mouthhhhhh on him 🥵
Harper is one of my favorite FMCs. Her personality was addictive and refreshing. She had a rough childhood and had been through so much in her life but she never let that change her heart of gold. She was a little reserved when it came to love but Blake stood by her and showed her how the Blackwells love.
Blake, Blake, Blake. He surprised me. I loved seeing the protective side of him. He had so much growth in this book. He went from a playboy workaholic to an obsessed soon-to-be dad who would do anything for his woman. He was always there for Harper and not afraid to stand up to anyone who talked down to her.
Their love was fast, hot, and intense but also so beautiful. The 'accidental pregnancy' wasn't until the 3rd Act and isn't an issue in the book so if that's not your usual favorite trope, don't let it deter you from reading this! It actually added a beautiful moment for them.

Audiobook Review 🎧 Narrated by Jason Clarke and Stella Hunter Dual Narration
I already loved this town and the Blackwells, but man do i fall in love with this world more and more with each story!! Blake Blackwell fell HARD and I freaking swooned so hard over this man!! He was funny and the ‘hot’ doctor 🤭 I just loved him! And Harper had me all in my feels. This girl feels unlovable and has no idea how to say she loves Blake, but she sure does show him. Their story just tugged at me 🥹
I really enjoyed being back with so many people I already love, but also meeting new people as well! Kristen does a great job of having this found family aspect without it being confusing! I can’t wait for more 🫶🏼
The audio was GREAT! I freaking love anything Jason does. He narrates so many different characters in one of the best ways, he’s just very talented and one of the best!! Stella is one of my favs too, she kept me so invested in this story. I truly just could not stop listening!

Loved these two so much! And the audiobook… WoW! Honestly was kinda of scared of his past as bachelor of the family, but I should have trusted Ms. Proby to handle him and it perfectly! Zero Past lovers and I couldn’t be more thrilled that he was ALL IN from basically the get go! And damnnnn, Dr. Blackwell has quite a dirty mouth on him!!!
Title: When You Blush Author: Kristen Proby Series: The Blackwells of Montana #4
What to expect: *One night stand *Doctor x Nurse *Accidental pregnancy
Another great addition to this series! I was worried about the reputation of Blake as being a playboy, but instead we got a man that was truly in love with his FMC! Harper and Blake were excellent for each other, both understanding of the other’s job and time constraints. Their open communication was truly refreshing.
Safety: No OW/OM drama, some on page violence against the FMC by a side character.
I have loved every book in this series, and this was no exception.
It’s been clear from the start of this series that Blake loves his family deeply, but he’s always kept walls up around his own heart. I was so happy, we finally get to see those walls start to crumble when he meets Harper Their chemistry is undeniable from the moment they meet, and watching Blake’s patience and persistence as Harper learns to trust again was beautiful.
Harper carries the weight of a toxic past relationship, and the lingering scars make her reluctant to relationshis. But Blake’s steady devotion, tenderness, and support help her slowly begin to heal—and in the process, she discovers what it feels like to be truly cherished.
I loved their connection, the mix of vulnerability and passion, and how their story balances both heartwarming family moments and swoony romance.
This series just keeps getting better with every book, and I can’t wait to see what Kristen Proby has in store for us next!
My new favorite Blackwell 🥰 I am pretty sure I say that with each new book in this series. But I really loved everything about this one! Nothing beats how fast and hard he fell for her, especially since that was totally out of character for him. I felt like they were on the same page in a lot of ways, it was refreshing. I just adored both Blake and Harper, and how Harper fit right in with the Spicy Book Club, and all the fun moments that created. She is a NICU nurse and he is a Doctor, that aspect was one of my favorites.
Overall, this is a sweet, swoony, spicy, full of emotional depth and small town charm, with fantastic characters - what’s not to love?! And the set up for the next book has me so excited!!
🎙️𝗔𝗨𝗗𝗜𝗢𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗞 ⇣ Jason Clarke and Stella Hunter absolutely killed it with their dual narration. they were perfect for these characters. Jason portrayed Blake’s charismatic, charming, man obsessed vibes perfectly, and Stella captured Harper’s personality and emotions just as well. They both are fantastic with accents and differentiating between characters.

FMC and MMC in the medical profession? Sign me the heck up!
I could cozy up and read a book written by Kristen every day of the week. I love her stories so much. They're swoony, heartfelt, spicy, and have the perfect HEAs.
Blake Blackwell is married to his job as an ER physician. He's never been a serious relationship sort of guy... That is until he meets Harper - a NICU charge nurse who's just as dedicated to the medical profession as Blake is. Not only do the two work at the same hospital, but small town life causes them to run in the same circles and have the same friends. Between cozy nights spent at the ski resort, trail hikes, and simply having breakfast together, Blake begins to fall hard and fast for Harper. He wasn't looking for a relationship, but it certainly found him, and he can't keep his eyes (or hands) off of Harper.
Absolutely adored Blake, Harper and their hot as heck chemistry! When You Blush will most definitely have YOU blushing because I most certainly was (sorry, had to make the joke lol). Also, can we talk about how all of the Blackwell brother's are so swoony? Because these men are top tier book bfs.
The way I love these two!!! Kristen's done it again and created a story I couldn't put down. It's amazing how she ties in all of our favorite characters from the previous books (and even previous series!), and develops the best found family and perfect friend groups.
I absolutely cannot WAIT for the next book with Brooks and Juliet!!!
Thank you so much to Kristen and VPR for my eARC!
Highly recommend When You Blush for lovers of: 💜 small town romance 🩺 ER physician MMC x NICU nurse FMC 💜 found family 🩺 he falls first and hard 💜 workplace romance 🩺 man obsessed 💜 HEA
She’s never looked at me like this before, and I’ll do whatever it takes to make sure she never looks at me like this again. My heart can’t take it.
I really liked the chemistry between Harper & Blake! The way they met and fell for each other, worked well. I also liked how she instantly fit with his family. The found family vibes were strong and I loved all the side characters. A couple of parts felt rushed to me, though. But overall, this was still an enjoyable read. Pretty light-hearted and charming. Plus, I can't wait to continue this series because Brooks & Juliet's story already has me hooked!
This book was fine. I’m going to round up but it’s more of a 2.5⭐️ for me. The characters were fine. The plot was fine. The spice was fine. It didn’t feel like a lot of passion, tension, or chemistry.
I skimmed/DNF’d the first book, so I’m not surprised that this was just fine for me.
4.5 stars. If I’m ever in need of a short, sweet (and spicy), small town romance with found family and a HEA, Kristen is who I go to! Harper and Blake’s story was beautiful and just that!
Huge thanks to Valentine PR and Kristen for the opportunity to read this ARC.
I’ve loved Kristen for over ten years now, and I still remember how her books were among the first that made me truly happy to be part of this community. This one was no exception. I absolutely adored it — the theme, the chemistry between them… everything was just perfect.
I think this might be my favorite from the Montana series. Blake and Harper were so determined when it came to each other. She was exactly what he needed to understand what love really means — and what it feels like to finally be one of the loved ones. 🥹
I’m in so deep with this series that I think I belong in Bitterroot Valley. Are they great books? Unclear. But they’re fun and these Blackwell brothers are something else….. I can’t wait for Brooks 🫦
This series is one of my surprise favorites ever since I got approved for the ARC for Book 1. Now 4 books later, I still love the Blackwell siblings and their love stories.
In this book, we meet Blake, an ER doctor and Harper, a NICU nurse. They meet on a flight and got stuck together when that flight got rerouted due to bad weather. They hit it off and had a ONS. A few months after, they find themselves working in the same hospital. Harper, at first was very hesitant to start something with Blake due to some toxic and trauma in a previous relationship but Blake was relentless and pursued her. The book is pretty much their journey being a couple. Besides the heavy stuff in the beginning and Harper's trauma, it's actually a pretty easy and light read. There are no major conflicts and the story just flowed and I didn't feel it was overdramatized. We see them date, be with their families, work - just normal things. It is extremely spicy. I don't remember the other books being this spicy. The book focused on the main couple but it somehow also felt like I'm reading a reunion because almost all the previous couples in the series were highlighted and we got glimpses of their lives post their books. I love the 2 family units they both have - Harper with her adoptive and supportive family and the Blackwells - Blake's funny and loving siblings and parents.
It worries me when the couple is happy and together before 50% and throughout this book, I was kind of on edge trying to think about what the conflict would be thrown in there but it actually didn't come (except maybe the surprise there at the end). The other thing that I wasnt my favorite was in the beginning when Harper told Blake she isn't ready for anything and then the next chapter, they were back on and falling in love. That seemed off to me timing wise. I wished I saw more courting and convincing on Blake's part.
Other than that, I enjoyed this book and cannot wait for the next one. Kristen Proby writes these small town romances so good. She makes you feel immersed in that environment too and part of the community.
Thank you to Valentine PR for the advanced copy in exchange for my thoughts!
Kristen Proby’s The Blackwells of Montana series has become one of my most reliable comfort reads. There's just something so heartwarming about the world she’s built in Bitterroot. The charming small-town setting, the close-knit community, the mix of heat and heart, the endlessly entertaining and endearing family dynamics- it all feels like coming home every single time. Bitterroot Valley is a place I genuinely love visiting, and I was SO excited for this story, and Kristen delivered in every way.
Harper and Blake’s story hooked me from the start. What begins as a sizzling one-night stand takes an unexpected turn when Harper moves to town to be closer to her adoptive family. She ends up working as a NICU nurse in the same hospital where Blake is in the ER, and suddenly, that one night isn't so easy to forget.
Their dynamic was both sweet and steamy in the best way. Watching Harper slowly lower her walls after being hurt in the past felt so relatable and genuine. Blake, like all the Blackwell men, is all in once he falls. Lord, I love these men. And he makes it clear just how much Harper means to him in the way she needs to feel emotionally safe, to feel SEEN. He earns her trust so sweetly. His dirty mouth definitely doesn’t hurt in making him addicting, but it’s his steady presence, and the way his family immediately embraces Harper and loves her so generously, that makes him so darn swoony. He’s my favorite kind of KP man- falls hard and loves harder.
And we have a trope I love, the surprise pregnancy, a twist neither of them expected but handled with so much heart and tenderness between them. I loved how this part of the story unfolded, especially since both characters had reservations about parenthood. It added even more substance to their connection, deepened their chemistry, and upped the stakes without it feeling too heavy. But we also have plenty of fun and HELLO YUMMY SPICE. KP upped the heat!
Kristen never fails to deliver feel-good stories that make me laugh, swoon, and feel deeply connected to her characters. I’m already counting down the days to the upcoming novella - oh I know that spice is going to SLAP.

I WAS NOT READY FOR THIS! Whew, she was SPICY 🌶️ in the best possible way.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it every damn time but I can ALWAYS rely on Kristen to write the most swoony worthy, obsessed men, and stories that never ever fail to leave me feeling all warm and fuzzy, that make me laugh and that I love.
Blake and Harpers story started off with such a memorable meet-cute, and their connection and chemistry was off the charts instantly… they had one amazing night together and then she was gone… until months later and she turned up to work at the very hospital he works at.
I loved getting to see them re-connect, to get to know each other on a deeper level, and how similar they were at their core.
Harper had been hurt in the past by her absolute tool of an ex, and when she met Blake she couldn’t help but fall for him. Despite her reservations, despite her trust issues and past experiences, she was drawn to him and getting to see her slowly start to feel safe and show her affection had me all in my feels.
Blake, as all the Blackwell men are, was a goner from the get go. From the moment he saw her for the first time… he knew there was something different about her and he made sure she knew how special she was. I will never get over how much of a safe space he was for her, how his family and friends made her feel like she was always welcome and how he made sure that her family were never left out too… also the man had the DIRTIEST MOUTH YET. The spice in this one was OFF THE CHARTS 🔥- Ms. Proby wrote in a splash of public 🌶️ and a whole lot of feral Blake who DEFINITELY had a breeding k!nk 🤭 which ultimately led to a surprise pregnancy, and the way both characters handled this — despite both of them saying they either initially didn’t want children or never imaged having them — was beautifully done. 🥹
If you haven’t read this series yet, I urge you to! Please 🙏
Started this book, devoured this book! And loved every single second of it.
Harper, knowing she wasn't wanted by her parents when she was younger was awful. But when she was adopted by the Hendrix family she knew exactly what it was to have a father, siblings and to just be loved and cared for.
She is a NICU nurse but after being in an emotionally abusive relationship, she takes up a post to become a travelling nurse.
Blake, this man!
His well, in his words married to his job and his family is his side piece 😂. He is a doctor in Bitterroot Valley hospital and works part-time at the clinic. He is literally a workaholic, he has a little personal time, and rules that he doesn't deviate from until he meets Harper and she flips his world upside down.
One glance, one night. That's all it took for his life to change. But she leaves and he knows he won't see her again. Until he does.
Harper is the new NICU in charge nurse at the hospital.
And when he sees her again, he wants her.
Gosh you guys, the fourth book in this series and what is Kristen putting in them. It's absolutely addictive!!!
The chemistry, spice and connection between the main characters was top notch. The way they both were committed to their jobs but also so desperately wanted to make things work, amazing.
Blake not standing for Harper's behaviour and standing up for their relationship *chefs kiss*
And add in the surprise pregnancy and yes, this book was perfection.
𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬
The Hendrix family...as soon as they were introduced...my immediate thoughts were that they need their own books ASAP.
When You Blush by Kristen Proby is absolutely everything that I want in a romance novel. It is small town perfection. Ever since visiting Montana and seeing the area that Bitterroot Valley is loosely based on, I feel so much more connected to this series. Proby has a way of describing the setting that is so realistic, I literally feel like I’m right back in Montana.
Harper and Blake are definite couple goals. A lust-at-first-sight one-night stand turned small town, doctor-nurse, surprise baby, When You Blush has a bit of a trope for everyone. The character development, for Harper in particular, was on full display as she came to terms with both her previous relationship but also her relationships with her family members as she realized that they would love her for being her, she didn’t have to do anything to be “worth” their love. Blake loving and supporting her through that development was just the cherry on top. I loved the glimpses we saw of the other girls during book club as well as more of the angst between Brooks and Juliet. I can’t wait for more of the two of them.
And finally, y’all…the AUDIO! *stops to fan self* Jason Clarke and Stella Hunter absolutely SLAYED this narration. If Blake was the cherry on top, this is a Costco sized jar of maraschinos on top of the biggest, baddest sundae you’ve ever seen. I could (and will) listen to Jason Clarke as Blake on repeat for the rest of forever. He has that deep, sexy growl down to a tee and it is *chef’s kiss*. These two nailed the depth of emotion, the humor, the sarcasm, the angst, and the spice perfectly!! Kristen Proby gave them superb material and they truly brought this story to life. Bravo to all three! This is not one to miss.
I have loved the Wilds & Blackwell series and was anxious to see workaholic, playboy Blake fall. It was epic. Not only did he fall, it was love at first sight and he had to work really hard. It just made me fall harder for him. Harper came from a rough childhood, saved by her found family but then was in a relationship with a verbally abusive fiancé. She leaves him. Months later she’s heading to her family and gets snowed in with Blake. They have a night neither can forget. Harper winds up back home in the next town and working in the same hospital and his brothers know her brothers.
What I loved was that Blake didn’t hesitate, he was going to win her heart, he was determined, he knew she was the one. Harper was a great female lead. She is a survivor. She was funny, smart, friendly, with a heart that wanted to love and be loved but so guarded. Though her past is in her head and causes her anxiety she was determined and strong. Blake is so patient and loving. They had a lot of issues to work through together. It was a rough road. I loved how her and her sister Ava fit in with all the Wild, Blackwell and Lexington women. And it was great to see them all again.
Also for those who do not like the surprise pregnancy trope, it was not a main plot point. There were other factors that had to be resolved between them.
We also got glimpses of Jules, the girl Brooks loved and hurt him. I am really looking forward to their book. Lots of angst.
One night stand She’s been hurt before Doctor/nurse Playboy Dirty talker He falls first and harder Found family Small town romance Surprise pregnancy Spicy
I absolutely adored this book! I’ve read a few of Kristen’s books before, but this is the first I’ve read of the Blackwells and it’s safe to say that this is my favorite book of hers! From their very first chance encounter to their medical setting—I loved everything about Harper and Blake’s love story. They have an instant, unexplainable connection and I ATE IT UP!! Honestly, I haven’t read many couples more made for each other than these two. They are so dang compatible and I loved the communication and maturity.! Their chemistry was sizzling and listen, the spice was SPICING— I’m talking blazing hot spice!! 🔥🔥🔥The mouth on Blake definitely had me blushing!
When You Blush was sweet, swoony, sexy and an all around good time. The Blackwells gave me all the things I love about a small town, big family setting! Harper fit right in with the Spicy Book Club and this lovable family! I loved all the side characters and it absolutely made me want to go back and read the rest of the series! I fear I have been missing out!
🎧Ok you guys— listen to this one if you can! An already great story was made even better with the narration from two of my very faves, Jason Clarke and Stella Hunter. Stella was the perfect choice for NICU nurse, Harper, who is strong and sexy and confident. She brought the emotion and vulnerability, as well as a mature and sensual tone. And Jason WAS Blake. There’s not much better than hearing Jason as a man all in and OBSESSED. My gosh—he was so good and the spicy parts—again 🔥🔥🔥! Do yourselves a
Narrated by Jason Clarke & Stella Hunter in dual narration.
You don’t understand the love that I have for this series.. honestly, they’re some of the best books ever written by Kristen! & now I’m happy to add Blake Blackwell to my list of book husbands. 😍😍
Let me tell you what.. if you’ve ever wanted a man that’ll stick with you through the good times and the bad times, someone who will support you in everything that you do, no matter what.. And someone who would drop whatever they were doing to run to you for whatever you needed.. then Blake Blackwell is your man. He’s the blueprint, y’all. Blake is the type to love you out loud, unapologetically. It was so easy to fall for his character. And what I loved the most about Harper was her resilience. She went through some very tough times in her life and came out even stronger from it all. She never let those times fully infect what she had going with Blake. She took the time to realize when she was projecting her trauma onto him, and I really loved that about her. She owned her past, and then created a future with Blake as bright as the sun in the sky on a cloudless day. ☀️🩷
The audio was amazing! Again!! You literally just can’t ever go wrong with anything narrated by Jason Clarke and Stella Hunter.. but this one in particular just hit right. They were incredible in this, and they both really amped up my enjoyment of this audio, simply by just being who they are. Incredibly talented voice actors! This series is phenomenal on audio, you can’t skip these! Highly recommend! 💕
