Ava Morgan knows hardship better than most. Raised in the foster care system, she’s turned her painful past into a calling as a social worker, fiercely advocating for kids like fifteen-year-old Christian, a teen who reminds her all too much of herself.
When she meets rugged Navy SEAL Ty “Aussie” Mitchell at a college fair, his bold charm and steady gaze stir something in her heart she thought was long buried. But just as things start to heat up between them, Christian finds himself on the radar of a dangerous local gang that doesn’t take “no” for an answer.
Determined to protect Christian and Ava, Aussie is thrown into a treacherous game of cat and mouse, where every move could end in disaster. As threats close in and the gang’s tactics turn ruthless, Aussie knows he must take them down before they get to the people that he’s sworn to keep safe. But with the clock ticking and danger at every turn, will Aussie and his team be able to protect the woman he’s falling for and the young man she and he vowed to protect—or will he lose them both to a world where loyalty only runs as deep as blood?

Ava and Christian stole my heard just like they stole Aussie’s in this next, exciting installment of the Bravo Team series. These two beautiful kindred souls who had been through so much still managed to be good-hearted, compassionate people. They found each other, and then together found Aussie and his team just when they needed him. He and his team protected Ava and Christian from danger as Ava and Christian filled the empty spaces in Aussie’s heart. Lots of emotion, mystery and action and another awesome story!
Another fantastic novel from Jaime Lewis. From the moment Ava met Aussie, she knew he would be special. Then add in Christian, her foster son, and the relationship with Aussie going well until danger came to Ava and Christian. Aussie and his Seal team mates were determined to protect Ava and Christian at all costs. Thankfully all went well in the end and Ava, Aussie and Christian found their happily ever after.
I had been anticipating this story of Aussie and Ava. Social worker Ava is fostering Christian, who seems to be in the sights of criminals, through no fault of his. But when they meet Navy Seal Aussie he begins to support them both and feelings develop bewteen all three. Can Aussie be the man they both need? This was a book with support love and I lved finding out wehre Aussie's nickname came from! Not at all what I expected and all the better for it!
Aww, loved this book, loved the chemistry between Aussie, Ava and Christian. This was a very sweet story. I'm so glad the way it ended. Love Aussie's parents too.
