The fourth book in the Frederick and Grace series, The Highland Heist, begins with Lord and Lady Astley (Fredrick and Grace) and their adopted daughter, Zahra, stopping in Harrington, Virgina at the end of their honeymoon to see her family before returning to their estate in England. It’s June, 1914, and they find Grace’s father is in South Carolina and her sister Lillias is the prime suspect in her husband Tony Dixon’s murder. To add an additional complication to the situation, Grace and Lillias, are needed in Scotland before the end of the month to claim an inheritance or it will be sold at auction. Can Fredrick and Grace clear Lillias and the three of them get to Scotland in time? Someone seems determined to stop them. Then Lillias disappears.

Grace is forthright, imaginative, quick-witted, inventive, and intelligent. She finds excitement in uncertainly and adventure, loves reading, and has a flair for using fiction to solve problems. She’s also unconventional and naïve at times and lacks refinement. Frederick is learning to believe in a future beyond obligation and legacy. He has a sharp wit, and is caring and thoughtful. He feels a sense of purpose when setting things right and solving mysteries has begun to intrigue him. Zahra is fast, clever, and brave, but still has nightmares. She’s still learning what it means to be part of a family and be loved.

The writing is descriptive and the plot is full of humor, adventure, mysteries, some suspense, action, faith, and romance. The first 70 percent of the book takes place in Virginia while the last 30 percent takes place in fictional Angloss, Scotland. The plot has several twists and turns, but the mystery was a little too easy to solve. However, I thoroughly enjoyed Grace’s application of literary references to the various problems they faced. Additional themes woven into the storyline include family, mistrust, trust, deceit, lies, assaults, secrecy, reckless decisions, betrayal, relationships, and much more.

Overall, this novel has humor and heartwarming moments with likeable, but flawed protagonists. I enjoyed my journey with Grace, Frederick, and Zahra. If you enjoy amateur sleuths and historical Christian mysteries with a little romance, then this may be the series for you. I am looking forward to reading more books by this new-to-me author.

The Highland Heist is another wonderful episode in the life of Freddie and Grace, Lord and Lady Astley, as they travel to America to visit Grace's family but surprises abound, and not all in a good way. Lillias, Grace's sister, is not having a great marriage and their father sold the family manor. Not to mention the murder of a family member. But not to fear, Grace and Freddie, and new adopted sweet little daughter Zahra, set out to find answers. A journey to Scotland rounds the adventure out with the time crunch to claim an inheritance from the girls' deceased mother before bad people can stop them and friend Lord Blake joins in with the group.. As usual, Pepper's stories are full of wit, adventure, danger, great characters, suspense, mystery, faith, smiles, and swoon worthy romance between Freddie and Grace.
I received a copy for the purpose of an honest review. These are my thoughts.

The Highland Heist by Pepper Basham
Book 4 in the Freddie and Grace Mystery Series

Pepper delivers another delightful blend of mystery, romance and adventure in The Highland Heist, book 4 in the Freddie and Grace series. We are back with our main characters into another nail-biting quest....involving family secrets, a missing sister, haunted castle and a legacy buried deep in the Scottish Highlands.
As always, Freddie and Grace are a joy to journey with. Their banter is endearing, their devotion to one another shines through, and their knack for solving mysteries is AWESOME. We see Grace's sister Lillias back who is entangled in a murder investigation that Freddie and Grace work to solve.

Loved the Scotland setting and the crumbling castle - very eerie and lots of twists and turns! Highly recommend this one. I always love being back with these characters. Very cozy stories.

If you have loved the previous Freddie and Grace books, this one will be another hit in the series! Lots of humor, romance and Scottish charm.

Thank you to Barbour Publishing for a copy to honestly read and review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I believe I discovered Pepper Basham last year. She’s a gifted author and one of my personal favorites. I love this series about Freddie and Grace. Their growing relationship continues to proceed naturally. I loved the addition of Zahra, their adopted 10 year old daughter. She’s so spunky. This book had me laughing out loud several times. When I read a Pepoer Basham book it’s like being wrapped in a warm reading hug. The adventures and settings are always intriguing and unique. This is a series I will reread.

I was blessed with an ARC and the opinions expressed are my own and unbiased. Highly recommend the entire series.

I really enjoyed this latest installment in the Freddie & Grace mysteries. This married couple reminds me a lot of Nick and Nora of the Thin Man series. The repartee in the relationship between the two of them brings so much fun to the mysteries. Add in extended family dynamics and a transatlantic mystery to solve, and this book was plain fun. I highly recommend it for those who loved the Downton Abbey time period with mystery and romance.

The 4th book with Freddie and Grace! I definitely recommend reading these books in order as it’s an ongoing story. This time Grace and Freddie go home and find her sister in a compromising position, it looks like she murdered her husband. However, all is not what it seems. There is also a matter of an inheritance for Grace and her sister in Scotland. I enjoyed getting to read another mystery with Grace and Freddie! They are such a great couple and I just love Grace’s personality. I also liked the little twists that the reader may not see coming. Great Christian content. Overall, a great story and I recommend!

Freddie and Grace are so back!! 😍

A will, a murder, a Scottish inheritance—and two of our favourite sleuths are right in the middle of the drama. Time with Freddie and Grace is always a riot of a time, and this was no exception!

The mystery angle was well executed (and some of those twists?!?!?!) with a very fun Jaime Jo Wright feel. Don’t worry, there’s still romance and the mystery isn’t spooky, but the romance does take a bit of a back seat as Pepper leaned into JJW’s mystery shoes! And I was enchanted! 🤭

I did think this was going to be more Scottish centered rather than just the last 30%, but that was my own fault haha because I didn’t read the blurb.

And I just gotta say, Lillias left me with no words… like… seriously woman? I think now I have no complaints about Josephine Edgewood in comparison. 😂 Justice for Josie.

Getting to see Freddie and Grace embracing their role as new parents with their adopted daughter was precious. And I can’t wait to see what happens next (even if the date now has me a little terrified) because I heard rumour of a book #5… !!! 😍

Some stories feel like coming home — not because every page is what you hoped for, but because certain characters still feel like old friends. That’s how it is with Freddie and Grace.

The Highland Heist is an adventure, yes — with castle walls, shifting loyalties, and secrets cloaked in shadow. But underneath the mystery and misdirection, it’s Grace’s fierce loyalty and Frederick’s quiet steadiness that bring warmth to the page. This is a story about standing firm when the way ahead is unclear, and choosing trust before you can see the outcome.

“She and Frederick would sort it out together… God’s grace, and excellent timing.”
That line? It reminded me why I’ve followed this series from the beginning. Because even in the absurdity, chaos, and comedy, there’s a thread of trust woven deep between them — a partnership choosing love in the unknown. On the written page, it’s clear: only through the grace of God and their unity in Him does everything work together for their good and His glory.

While the spiritual thread was lighter than I hoped for, the characters themselves remain a bright spot. The wit, the wordplay, the way Grace throws herself into every twist with full-hearted abandon. And Frederick? Still the kind of literary husband who fights for her with unwavering gentleness.

The Highland Heist wasn’t the installment that impacted me most. But it stirred reflections — about family, expectations, and what remains when the storyline shifts. And while I wished for more time spent in His presence, I’m still grateful for the reminder that grace — even fictional Grace — can spark courage in the strangest places.

I received a digital ARC from the publisher via NetGalley and Celebrate Lit Publicity Group . I am not required to write a positive review in any way or for any reason. My honest and unbiased opinions expressed in this book review are my own. My review focuses on the writing style, the pacing, and the story’s content, ensuring transparency and reliability.

The Highland Heist is delightful in every way! Pepper Basham never fails to deliver a fun fantastical reading experience! 5 stars!

The Highland Heist is a charming romance with Grace and Freddie back at their sleuthing again in book four of the Freddie and Grace mystery series. They're revisiting Grace's childhood home and unexpectedly end up working to solve a murder mystery and encountering all manner of danger and mayhem.

The newlyweds are terrific characters, Grace leading the way with her sleuthing based on her knowledge found in her fictional stories and Freddie's swept up into it all as her adoring husband. I loved how the detective described Grace as having "a certain magnetism toward mishap." Truer words were never spoken.

I enjoyed the addition of little Zahra, so mysterious herself and always in the background seeing and hearing everything going on. She's experienced enough situations in her young life before being adopted to fit in perfectly as the daughter of this sleuthing couple.

My favorite inspirational line, "If the world is shifting beneath our feet, dear Frederick, then we must trust the one who holds the whole world all the more."

Pepper Basham continues to be one of my favorite authors and I'm looking forward to her next book. I appreciate Barbour Fiction making a copy of The Highland Heist available for review. All thoughts and opinions are my very own.

Story Enjoyment Rating: 10/10 Christian Faith Rating: 2.5/3

I recently finished reading The Highland Heist by Peppa Basham, which is the fourth instalment in the Freddie and Grace mysteries series. This is a series that you definitely want to read in order. The relationship between Frederick and Grace develops throughout the books; they are thrown together in the first book and end up as a couple, and the following books document their journey during their honeymoon. I must warn readers that this particular book gives spoilers for the mysteries that have gone before, so reading it first is ill-advised.
In The Highland Heist, Frederick and Grace are finally coming to the end of their honeymoon and heading home. Frederick is taking Grace back to see her father. However, when they arrive, all is not as it seems.
The central action truly begins when Grace goes to see her sister. Upon arriving at her sister's house, Grace finds her sister hovering over the body of her sister's husband. Naturally, the sister is suspected of murder. Frederick and Grace must try and solve this murder mystery in time to claim an unexpected inheritance. There is a lot going on as they work towards their destination, trying to work out who is behind it all and who is trustworthy.
I thought this was a really great adventure story. I didn't get bored at any point. The mystery included a lot of twists and turns and suspense. While I did guess some of the answers, I didn't totally guess everything, and I was left wondering if somebody else might be involved. The book features interesting locations and characters, offering different things to be found out.
I particularly liked the relationships that Frederick and Grace share with other characters. Some of the older characters from other books came back in, and some were simply mentioned.
I did not like Grace's sister, Lily. Lily starts off as quite snobbish and not particularly nice to Grace, though she does go on her own character journey, and the relationship between the sisters develops throughout the book.
Regarding content, this instalment features less spice than the other books — Frederick and Grace are a newlywed couple (though nothing graphic was ever on the page). This one did not cross the line for me in dwelling on the physical side of things.
There is definite Christian content. They are definitely talking about God and Jesus and relating back to their faith. The faith was present and strong when it appeared, and it was interspersed at points throughout the book".
This was a good historical mystery and definitely worthwhile reading for me. While it brings the series in some ways to a conclusion, it is left open for possible future stories to occur with different characters. I would really love to see another book in this series.

I was so happy to see a new Freddie and Grace adventure as they make me laugh with their antics and sticky situations they seem to fall into. You will be turning pages quickly to see what happens next as you travel from America to Scotland. I felt like I was in the castle as they explored to uncover secrets to an inheritance and discover just who can really be trusted. From edge of your seat crime solving, swoony romance, funny escapades, to faith and family you will be enthralled. A husband and wife sleuthing team makes for an interesting read as their love, bantering, and crime solving abilities combine to make an all around enjoyable reading experience. You will not be disappointed in this one or the series with believable characters and descriptive writing let yourself be transported.

The Highland Heist is another winner by Pepper Basham. This time, our favorite sleuths go to Virginia and then to Scotland. Of course, a murder and mystery are thrust upon Lord and Lady Astley, and they are bound to discover the villains while also finding Lady Astley's mother's will. I love all the characters, especially little Zahra; she will make a great sleuth one day herself. This is a romantic cozy mystery with lovable characters. I certainly hope there will be more in the series. *I was given a copy of this book by the publisher, and this is my honest opinion.

It's astounding to think that Freddie and Grace are only just returning home after their grand honeymoon adventures in Egypt and Italy. Considering how well they work together—personally and professionally as amateur detectives—it has been wonderful to see their temperaments complement one another when they are such different people. This fact is reinforced even more upon encountering Lillias, Grace's sister, once again. Embroiled in another mystery that hits closer to home, Freddie and Grace further discover the strengths and gifts they see in each other. In facing one perilous situation after another, Lord and Lady Astley deepen their trust in God as they encounter the most unintentional skirmishes facing their loved ones, creating a thrilling adventure for readers.

Pepper Basham is skilled at adding a touch of whimsy to the Freddie and Grace mysteries, creating an effective recipe for charm, dashing love, and wit. Getting to observe a married couple work through issues together is a refreshing reminder that God can do incredible things when a husband and wife are united in Him. I love that Freddie and Grace pray for each other's protection and that their actions are selfless. Their adopted daughter, Zahra, is clever and proves to be the perfect scene-stealer. If you've been following along with these mysteries, you'll enjoy this foray into Scotland while discovering family secrets and seeing the Astleys deepen their spiritual bond in tending to their loved ones.

Pepper Basham writes a fascinating mystery sure to intrigue readers in her latest release, The Highland Heist. This was the first novel by Pepper Basham I've read, and I found myself enjoying her writing and ability to scheme a plot.

I admired watching how Grace and Frederick worked together to solve the mystery. Their strengths truly complimented each other and resulted in this book having such a powerful theme about the importance of marriage.

My favorite character was probably Zahra. I loved watching how her unique talents and observation lended themselves to helping resolve conflict. She also was just such a sweetie and needed all the hugs.

While I enjoyed reading this book, I felt that I would have liked it even more if I had the context from the previous novels in the series to add a bit more depth to the story!

Overall, this book was an enjoyable read that I'd recommend to readers who enjoy mysteries!!!

I received an advance copy of this book. My opinions are my own. A positive review was not required.

Pepper does it again!
Grace and Fredrick are back with a fresh mystery to solve. This time it hits a little close to home when Grace and Fredrick walk in on Grace’s sister, holding a knife over her dead husbands body. But Lillias didn’t murder her husband right? Or did she? Grace must race against time to save her family from harm and possibly jail.

I really loved this book. I actually didn’t realize this was an ongoing series but was still able to easily keep up. I read as a stand alone and still understood perfectly. Now I need to go back and read the rest of the series! I would definitely recommend this book to anyone!

I love Freddie and Grace! They remind me of the 80s TV show Hart To Hart, but set in the early 1900s. Freddie and Grace have a fabulous marriage and I enjoy reading about their adventures. I think adding their adopted daughter Zahra made their story even better! So grab a pot of tea, your umbrella because you never know, and curl up for a fantastic adventure to the Scottish Highlands!

A murder, an inheritance, a castle in Scotland and the legendary Loch Ness. Grace is in for more mystery in this engaging tale of searching for a will with lots of family drama included. “She adored the thrilling pursuit of finding answers. And there were a great many unanswered questions piling up right before her.”
Ms. Basham has crafted the ultimate sleuthing duo. I cannot get enough of adorable Grace and darling Freddy. As Grace says: “ I love it when you talk sleuth.”
This time they venture to Virginia to find sister Lillias and her husband Tony and to visit their ancestral home. They are met with a crime freshly committed and a surprise inheritance for the sisters that needs to be quickly legalized. But of course complications arise and lives are in danger.
The author is a masterful storyteller and had me right there in the ancient castle, viewing the carved depictions of legendary Scottish folklore characters.
Along with the danger, the author does not forget the romance of a couple on their honeymoon nor the fact that they see everthing through spiritual lenses. “If the world is shifting beneath our feet, dear Fredrick, then we must trust in the One who holds the whole world all the more.”
I just want this series to go on and on!

I absolutely loved this book! In this story, we get to go back to visit her family and uncover what was really going on in Mistletoe Countess. “The words left her lips before she could second-guess them. But as they echoed in the room, Grace felt something shift. Not in Lillias—her sister’s expression was as stony as ever—but in herself. A growing sense of clarity, of purpose.”

While there were several standout quotes (including some delightfully funny ones), this one stuck with me the most. Grace lives for sleuthing, and in this installment of Pepper Basham’s historical romance series, she and her new husband, Frederick, are thrown into a murder investigation—with her sister Lillias as the prime suspect.

Grace shows such remarkable patience with Lillias! I almost wanted her to just fold her arms and watch her sister’s life unravel. But true to character, Grace remains calm and composed—only using her parasol as a weapon on other occasions.

The plot is full of twists and turns, including one midway through the book that’s as shocking as a typical climax—yes, it’s that good. I laughed out loud more than once, especially during the scene where Lillias argues that she can’t just toss her adopted daughter out the window. I’m a sucker for humor woven into action scenes, and this story delivers.

Little Zahara is so parentified, but I loved watching Grace and Frederick embrace her, love her, and model what real parenting looks like. This series continues to amaze, and if you enjoy clean or Christian historical romance with mystery and adventure, you’ll absolutely love this one too.

Another great Freddie and Grace adventure by Pepper Basham! This one takes them to Scotland, but by way of the US where Freddie brings Grace to visit her family once again. When a couple of tragedies strike close to heart and home, Freddie and Grace are embroiled in another mystery, but now they have to also contend with contentious family members (of Grace's this time), scoffing police officers and also keeping young Zahra safe. This story is a continuation of the series, so it is best to read them in order. If you haven't read the prior books, the story itself in this one can stand alone, but some of the back stories and relationships might have you scratching your head. Fans of the series will be loving this next installment however.

In this story, we get to see a bit more to the relationship between Grace and her sister. Though we saw some of this in The Mistletoe Countess, it was shown in a greater (and uglier) light in this story and it was fascinating to see the contrast between the 2. We also learned a bit more about Grace's mother who died when Grace was very young. And as a reader who tends to not enjoy romance quite as much as other genres, I do adore Freddie and Grace's relationship. The romance in this book was married romance and I've enjoyed seeing Freddie and Grace's relationship grow through the series to the sweet love that they have. I love how they have learned more about God through their own relationship and have learned to trust Him more with each other's love and well-being.

The stakes in this story are high. The danger is on par with the other books, but they now also have to attempt to keep Lillias (Grace's sister) and her child and household staff safe from harm when they don't believe they are in any danger. As the stakes also include a mysterious inheritance that will aid both sisters in their plights, they have to learn to work together to find a missing will. This involves not only danger from the outside, but also includes a "haunted" castle (making the dedication at the beginning of this book apropos - IYKYK). All in all, this was a riveting story that was thoroughly enjoyable, with good character development and several plot twists, one of which I would have never seen coming (Freddie and Grace didn't either). This book (and series) is one I can heartily recommend to fans of historical novels, romance novels, mystery novels, adventure stories, and good clean fiction in general. Special thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for an advance e-copy of this book. I was under no obligation to provide a review and the thoughts contained herein are my own.

The delightful newlyweds, Frederick and Grace, are back again with more mysterious happenings to sort through! The connection and love between these two characters is so wonderful. I am always so happy to read about how much they mean to each other.

The mystery they have to work through and the dangers they have to survive take place in both the United States as well as in Scotland. And Grace has to deal with her sister, Lillias, who is a lot to manage! I liked that Grace’s eyes were opened to the way Lillias really saw her and even though it was painful, it helped Grace stand stronger in herself as a person, as a wife, and as someone who trusts in God for their next steps.

This story kept me highly entertained and I hope there will be at least one more book in this series.

The way this intriguing mystery is presented offers a fun read—the characters, the situations, the word choices all add to the entertaining experience. The story contains plenty of suspense and the endearing newlywed couple, Grace and Frederick (who is a British lord) and their adopted Egyptian daughter, all add to the delight. It’s a book you won’t want to put down until you figure it all out and see how the dramatic tale ends. The author’s skilled writing weaves a twisting suspenseful narrative filled with surprises and increasing tension. It could stand alone, but this novel mentions much that happened previously so you will want to read all the books in this series in order for the best experience. I hope there will be another as their adventure continues. This book goes to American then Scotland after they’d travelled the world on their honeymoon. Where else might these amateur sleuths go and what else might they discover and solve? I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

I love Freddie and Grace!!
They’ve had lots of adventures and are finally ready to settle down and have some peaceful living.
But… they get to grace’s sister’s house in time to help solve the mystery of who murdered her husband.
And someone seems determined to do more killing.
Could it possibly have anything to do with that Scottish estates they might inherit?!
There is lots more mystery, danger, and more in this book! (Is it the final Freddie & Grace?! Please no!!)

I will never get tired of a Freddie and Grace adventure. I truly hope Pepper continues writing more stories just like this one—full of humor, mystery, and, of course, the swoony moments between Lord Astley and his wife.

I love the growth we see in these characters with each new story. Not only does their love continue to deepen and grow, but so does their faith—and it’s beautiful. I love seeing the way our favorite couple continues to balance each other perfectly, in sync to the point that they can read each other so well.

Freddie and Grace are once again thrown into a mystery that needs solving, and this time, it hits a little closer to home. They only have so much time to unravel it before they risk losing something important to them—in the beautiful land of Scotland.

Be prepared to laugh out loud, sigh with a smile, and sit on the edge of your seat as the mystery unfolds.

Whoa!!! I need more Freddie and Grace! These two together are just dynamic! Grace is a tenacious character! I just adore her. I love that she has the love of a good husband who doesn't tell her she can't do things and that she can't be whatever she wants to be. But he encourages her and supports and loves her. He goes with her on her adventures. His only complaint is that he doesn't want her getting hurt. I just adored the moments in this book where he was rushing headlong in to saving Grace and Zahra and kept thinking how much he loves his girls and just wants them safe.

From the ocean to America, back to the ocean and to Scotland, this book takes us on quite the adventure! And I was all in! Grace has several hard revelations about her family but she stands tall and just rolls with the hard. She leans on her husband for strength and support and comfort. Seriously they are just adorable together! I love a good, strong literary couple. They aren't perfect but they try and talk and work together through all of the ups and downs!

I loved the twists and turns. Some I wasn't expecting at all!!!! Like NOT AT ALL!!!! *Eyes bulging!!!* I had to go back and reread a page to see if I was really reading what I was reading! Seriously Best Plot Twist!!! Well played Pepper Basham!!! Well played!!!!!!!!!!

This is a series that I want to shout to everyone to read! But I know not all readers love this genre. But if you do and you haven't read any of these books yet, GO DO IT NOW!!!! You do have to start with book #1 and read them in order. But they are so delightful that they are worth it! Again, I just adore Freddie and Grace!

Content: Clean. There are some moments of mild peril but nothing overly graphic. Nothing more than some sweet kisses.

I received a copy from the publisher, Barbour Publishing, via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions in the review are my own.

Happy Reading!!!

Another delightful Freddie & Grace adventure! Lord Astley surprises his sweet wife Grace with a visit to the United States to see her father and sister as a way to wrap up their extended honeymoon trip. What follows is murder and mayhem. Her sister is literally standing over the body of her husband holding the knife! Of course Grace and her husband try to assist the authorities in solving this crime and clearing her sister's name. "To add to the confusion a solicitor arrives to tell the sisters they are needed in Scotland immediately to claim their mother's inheritance."

I love the sweet relationship between Lord & Lady Astley, and the bookish way she loves to solve crimes. I thoroughly enjoyed this adventure as they try to stay alive, figure out the villains, and claim the sister's inheritance in Scotland! Another sweet addition to their family is their adopted daughter Zahra who they met in Cairo.

"The Highland Heist is a Freddie and Grace Mystery, sequel to The Mistletoe Countess, The Cairo Curse, and The Juliet Code." I recommend them all!

Thank you to Barbour Fiction and Net Galley for allowing me to read an early copy!! All opinions are my own.

Ah. My favorite little detective duo! I was so happy to go back into Freddie and Grace's world! They just make me smile. Their romance is so sweet. This book picks up shortly after the conclusion of the previous book--so while they aren't TOO connected, it wouldn't hurt to go back and start from teh beginning of the series to understand. Actually--you ESPECIALLY need book 1 before this one. Because it sort of picks up with the relationship of the sisters from that conclusion.

Grace's sister still annoys the crap out of me. LOL.

Blake is soooo much fun and I hope he gets his romance. I'd love to see Elliot again too.

I simply adore all the times that Grace gets lost in her train of thought as she's whisked away to comparisons to books she's read. And she can't ever forget her rope! ;)

I guessed the villain--and was tickled that I was correct. ;) ANNNNDDDD we got to go explore a castle in Scotland with Grace!

Very fun. Make me smile. So I will give it 5 stars.

*Thank you to the publishers and NetGAlley for my ARC of this book. All opinions are 100% my own.

4.5 stars! I absolutely loved being back with Frederick and Grace in this 4th installment!

I loved the first book, and I feel like this book brings them back home in a really good way, not just physically but also in terms of the heart of their story. They're back in America in Grace's home, dealing with an issue with her sister and a mystery with its origins in their late mother's family in Scotland. I really enjoyed the mystery!

I love the way Frederick and Grace love, heal, and support each other in these books! Everything great about their relationship was on full display here and I cannot get enough! I would love to read more books about them and their life together with Zahra, and hopefully more babies to come!

Thank you Barbour Publishing for this ARC of the #TheHighlandHeist by Pepper Besham.

I am a huge fan of her novels and writing. This one was fabulous. Grace and Frankie go back to VA to visit her father, but fall into chaos instead. They have an incredible time line to get to find out what is going on and who is causing it.

I really enjoy Ms Basham’s writing. She is a light hearted author where you have no choice but enjoy the novel. I was thrilled when I was approved as a reader.
