For more than 35 years, Annette Martin has used her psychic ability, the ""Gift of the White Light,"" to help thousands of people answer everyday questions concerning the heart, career, health and emotional problems, and departed loved ones. She has assisted police agencies and the FBI, helping to solve crimes, convict criminals, and locate missing persons. She is frequently featured on national and international television and radio programs, and she became the first psychic sworn in as an expert witness in a court of law for a murder case. In a reading requested by John Denver, she said she saw him flying a small craft that would tumble into the ocean. Fifteen years later he would fatally crash his Long-EZ aircraft into the Pacific Ocean.

I am a third of the way through and, while entertaining, I can’t help but try to verify multiple claims this book makes about Ms. Martin’s abilities and accomplishments and continue to not be able to find any record of them on the Internet. There’s little out there about her life —besides two negative Yelp reviews on her psychic consulting business.
It's hard to review this book objectively since I was friends with both Annette and Jim Frey, so I don't consider this a formal opinion. Suffice it to say, this is good book for people who want a better understanding of how an American psychic medium worked. Different mediums have different ways of operating their talents and fortunately it approached Annette in a positive way. This book has become even more poignant after Annette's death to cancer last August. It's so ironic that she could find health issues for anyone else but herself. Unfortunately, that's usually how it works for psychics.
good book. I enjoyed this book. I accidently ran into Annette at as a book signing a coule of years ago and she was nice enough to sign the book for me. It was easy to read...and easy to understand. Thia is must read if you like this topic.
