Enjoyable read
I enjoyed this Victorian story. The author brought to life with her descriptions of not only the people but their surroundings. Though some of it was predictable it held my attention. For a first novel I am impressed.

What a delightful story! Some of it was predictable but some was not. I was absorbed in the story and the characters and truly enjoyed reading it. I could hear sweet Diane’s voice in some parts of the story too. What a fun story to read during the holidays this year!
