Chasing a Reason

Rate this book
Two brothers seeking meaning as they grow up in a world that is harsh and utterly meaningless. After being left behind following Mitch’s suicide Richard has to find a way to cope and discover himself. He has to find his reason.

Mitch was the popular one, the successful one the one that kept Richard insulated from the cruelties of High School. Richard, nearly crippled by his own anxiety and depression struggles to find out why his brother, who seemed to have everything going for him, took his own life. That is how he ends up snooping in his dead brother’s room. That is how he finds Mitch’s journal.

That journal tells Mitch’s side of the story and it is horrifying.

Living in Toronto I have been writing and telling stories for as long as I can remember. One day I would love to have my stories support me, but as long as they bring enjoyment to someone I am happy. I write because I love words, I love to read and I live for stories. A graduate of the University of Toronto’s English program I have been immersed in literature and strive to make an impact on the world of words, no matter how small it may be.
