Review of Dad Is Always Right

This is a recurring pattern I’ve noticed with all of her books that I’ve reviewed recently. They entertain in the moment but don’t leave a lasting impression. For instance, I vividly remember books like Lust or The Sibyl even years after reading them, but with Riley’s stories, I struggle to recall the characters or the plot unless I revisit the book.

The potential for improvement lies in adding more content and depth to her stories. Her talent for tackling daring themes is undeniable, but lengthening her narratives and adding more substance could elevate her work to a 5-star level. As it stands, Dad Is Always Right is good but not unforgettable, which is why it stays at 3 stars for me.
