This author never fails to deliver the most taboo smut out there. You’ve been warned. Taboo in the literal sense. Everyone has fun in this kinky family. It’s wild.
Yoooo!!! This had more twist and freaking turns than an amusement park ride. When I said I couldn’t predict a single part of this book I mean that, Sheesh! It starts with a little good morning fondling and ends with lost virginities and even more questions that I need answered immediately!! On to part two !!
Man, I was really liking this until the mm stuff came into play. I didn’t think it was going to go there bc Alexa riley has never written mmf before (I don’t think?) so I was caught off guard. The whole brother being an asshole bc his sister is a tease was so fun though!
Playing house? That's what we're calling it now? Sure, AR Taboo, sure 🙄 😅 Hunter has had enough of his sis, Mae, teasing him so he takes things into his own hands... or should I say mouth 🫢
Review of Playing House with My Brother and Playing House with My Dad (English)
The books Playing House with My Brother and Playing House with My Dad, written under Alessa Riley’s pseudonym, share qualities that make them intriguing yet forgettable. Both are short stories that tackle controversial topics with the author’s signature raw and bold style.
I rate each book two stars because, while I enjoyed some parts during my reading, they didn’t leave a lasting impression. Without the highlights I made on the app, I wouldn’t remember much about them. For instance, in one story, I highlighted 50 lines, which shows that I found value in certain moments, but not enough for the stories to stick with me.
The main issue with both books is their brevity. While I appreciate Riley’s straightforward and edgy writing, the stories need more development. They’re so short that they fail to create a lasting impact or leave a memorable impression. I understand the intention is to provide quick reads, but I believe adding depth and length would allow readers to connect more deeply with the characters and situations.
Despite this, I wouldn’t mind rereading them. There’s something about Riley’s style that draws me back, perhaps her unique voice or her willingness to explore themes that few dare to touch.
In summary, Playing House with My Brother and Playing House with My Dad are intriguing stories for those seeking something short and provocative, but their impact fades quickly due to a lack of depth and development.
Reseña de los libros Playing House with My Brother y Playing House with My Dad (Español)
Read this story before reading ‘Playing House With Our Daddy’. This story flows right into the next story. This story, Wow! I didn’t care for how mean he was to her, but the truth revealed itself, in all its detailed glory.
I should have read this one before Playing House with our Daddy, In this we get to see how Hunter and Mae first start out their affair before daddy joins in.
