I completed this over the weekend but forgot to update its status.

1. There is a lot more to the skill of reading then most people may imagine.
2. Teachers seem to have been doing their own thing for years, and it's just now in the last two decades, or so that research and practices are coming together to make an overall consensus on how to teach teachers to teach reading.
3. This booklet is an excellent reference for anyone who wants to incorporate reading skills into their curriculum. Yes, including aspiring math teachers like myself.
