TALKIN’ BILLIONAIRES INTO OR OUT OF SHIT IS WHAT I DO.

Some would say I’m slick with the lingo.

Other people will tell you other things.

I’ve been a wheeler and dealer my entire life. I’ve had some monster wins, and I’ve taken some big hits. You’re going to read about the worst of it.

Of course, there’s a woman involved.

Not your thing? Don’t worry, there are a plethora of other players in the story too.

Let’s see, there’s a hooker and a general. One looks killer, and one is a killer.

There are Muslim drug lords, now in real estate. A Venezuelan hillbilly who was out playin’ in the dirt and struck oil.

And you’re going to meet an African prince with diamonds to spare.

Let me think…There’s a fat redneck from the sticks of Florida and his buddy, an MS13 gang banger who wants to be a rapper. More millionaires, a couple of billionaires. And oh, I can’t leave out the Count. A Frenchy, who fancies himself a mobster…in the Med.

Spoiler He gets whacked.

The “good guys” do eventually show up. Most of ’em in those stupid blue windbreakers, three dumbass letters across the back in case the crewcuts and aviators didn’t make it clear enough.

Wait ’til I tell you about the kidnappers and the Russian Shylock I call “Yak-off.”

These stories are going to spin you on your head, but that’s it for the teaser.

I’ll see you on the inside.

A NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR

The Party Came to A Screeching Halt When I Ended Up in Prison

Back in ’07, I found myself in hot water over what the good ol’ U.S. of A. so eloquently referred to as “financial shenanigans.” And they did whatever it took to convince a jury that I was their Madoff. I’ve certainly done my fair share of questionable things in life, but I was not the villain in their particular saga. Still…

The universe has a peculiar way of balancing the scales.

The boredom in prison was excruciating. So I went to see my case manager, wondering what spectacular moneymaking opportunities might be available. The guy told me, get this, “Well, according to policy, the only thing you really can do is a write book.” He even had the audacity to laugh when he said it.

The hell I know about writing?

A few months later and blah-blah-solitary confinement-blah, and I thought, Fuck it, let’s write a book.

And that’s where SNIFF began—an action-adventure story about antihero David Liecht, who worked his way to the top of the commercial real estate world, only to lose everything while finding love…and then teeter on the brink of losing that too.

Now what will David do?

I believe words can be used to create conflict or inspire change; they can cut deep or make you laugh. I choose to laugh, and some people think I’m a damn riot. But I don’t expect everyone to be a fan. This is art, baby, and I’m not here to follow the rules. I love writing. It’s a passion I discovered while in federal prison. And maybe I ruffle a few feathers along the way, and maybe I don’t. Truthfully, I hope you stick around. Let’s see what kind of shit we can get into.

GC Brown's SNIFF, the first book in the SNIFF, SMOKE, SHOOT series, offers a raw and gripping exploration of life through the eyes of antihero David Liecht. After serving 16 years in federal prison, Brown channels his experiences into a narrative rich with themes of love, loss, and redemption.

The story follows David as he rises in the commercial real estate world, only to face devastating challenges that threaten his newfound love. Brown's writing blends dark comedy with poignant moments, reflecting on life's absurdities while tackling serious issues head-on. His vivid imagery and sharp dialogue keep readers engaged throughout.

Brown's unique voice is rooted in his own transformative journey from incarceration to authorship, adding authenticity to the narrative. While SNIFF features explicit content and unfiltered language, it offers a compelling look at resilience and the human condition

I was sent this manuscript by GC Brown to read and review. Official release date for Sniff is November 1, 2024! This was a 5 star read for me! Crime thrillers are not a genre I usually reach for but I loved the dark and bold writing style of this book. So vulgar and inappropriate and funny. The story follows a man named Dave in finance who becomes a desperate criminal in an attempt to help pay for his wife’s cancer treatment. The plot is THICK and kept me on the edge of my seat.. the suspense, the plot twists, the dark humor.. a man going to extreme lengths for love.. I could not get enough. This will easily become a bestseller!

This is not my normal genre that I usually reach for. I really enjoyed this story tho! Definitely read the blurb here and decide if this book will be for you. It holds nothing back. The ending leaves you wondering what will happen to David and Kennedy and who is really behind everything that went down.
