The Orc and the Bandit

Rate this book
In the cold, unforgiving wilderness, a formidable female orc bounty hunter named Marnak sets her sights on a legendary lamia rumored to haunt a nearby village. Towering over seven feet and clad in rugged leather armor, she thrives on the thrill of the hunt, her sharp instincts guiding her through the dark forests. However, this time she is not alone.
A band of dwarf bandits unexpectedly intervenes. Their leader—a grizzled warrior with long dark hair and an undeniable charm who called himself Glóin—intends to finish her off and get rid of the competition.
Yet when the fight finally concludes, the dynamic shifts drastically; instead of the expected ruthlessness, she reveals a surprising side that beckons the dwarf to surrender to her every whim, whether he likes it or not. With an array of kinks and an unexpected connection, their night together will challenge the boundaries of power, pleasure, and species.
In a world defined by war, can passion bloom between an orc huntress and a dwarf bandit?

I truly enjoyed this story and it’s controversial dynamic. I’ve always loved a strong female lead so this was exactly what I was looking for. For this being such a short story, it definitely did hold the same preference of her being more of a dominant woman. very fast paced and easy to get through so I highly recommend.

Well, that wasn’t too shabby. I kinda liked this one! It's dubcon I figure but the kind that turns into a fun encounter for both sides.

I received an e-ARC of this book. I am leaving a review voluntarily, and it is my honest opinion.

I liked the characters and their dynamics, and the story was fun. I kind of wanted to read more about the orc lady and her elven friend from the beginning though tbh 😂 Who knows, maybe there'll be more of them down the line in this series.

The writing was a little bit repetitive in the middle part but overall enjoyable.

What stood out to me were the fighting scenes. Those were really good imo, although some content warnings might have been appropriate.

If you're into femdom, dubcon, orc ladies, and foot kink, this story might be a good fit for you.

I miss more erotism and could do with less sex and blood. Maybe because the book is short and sort compressed. Rings like a prequel...
But we have scant three paragraphs to meet the characters (first chapter it's the best) to just move ahead with a hurried plot, where our warrior persona is just carried over. Without connecting with her, the action becomes detached.
I have the feeling that this book was longer and lost its essence in the final packaging.

Okay, this was way more fun than I expected going in. What really stood out for me was the energy.

I’m always here for a strong female presence, and this delivered that in a way that felt intentional instead of forced.

Because it’s a quick read, things move fast. For me it made the whole thing easy to devour.

Thank you to the author for providing a copy of this book. This review reflects my own honest opinion.
