Lilla Al-Fadji is a 12-year-old boy growing up in Dårhusen (Whackyville), a lively and diverse neighborhood in Drömsta (Dreamtown). This summer, he starts writing in his diary, capturing the hilarious ups and downs of his life: changing schools to one filled with kids from the upscale Drömsta Hills (Dreamtown Hills), navigating friendships and first crushes, finding new hobbies, dealing with quirky new teachers, and fantasizing about his absent father and the life he supposedly leads in Hälliewüüd. Lilla Al-Fadji stories are about love, loss, growing up with a hard-working, single mother, and having fun along the way. Surrounded by friends, foes, and no-nonsense girls, Lilla Al-Fadji’s world is full of surprises, laughter, and lessons in learning who he is and what really matters.
