Misplay These Hands With Me

Rate this book
The late Terence Reese introduced the instructional 'over-the-shoulder' style of writing in his classic bridge book Play These Hands With Me . In this wry homage to the master, Mark Horton leads the reader through a logical line of play on each instructive deal - but it's usually a line that ends in failure. In each post-mortem, the 'expert' realizes how he could have improved on his play and how he (usually) could have made his contract. The deals are all from top-class events, which prove to be remarkably fertile sources of material. This is a book filled with subtle humor and great bridge.
