The Omega Rebellion Movement #2

Knot Their Arrangement

Rate this book
Kamari Prava Ahvi
Eighteen. Dreamer. Aspiring Bookstagrammer with a knack for photography.
Omega…and a runaway bride.

I was meant to marry a pack chosen by my wealthy father—a carefully curated collection of Alphas who checked all his boxes, but none of mine. So, I ran. Far from the gilded cage of expectations to an Omega haven where I could live anonymously with my best friend, free to dream of viral TikToks, cozy book nooks, and a life entirely my own.

But freedom comes at a price, and fate has a cruel sense of humor.

My carefully hidden existence crashes into chaos when I encounter them:

Damon Castellano, a ruthless mafia kingpin worth billions, whose name alone sends shivers down spines. He’s dark, dangerous, and the epitome of power.
Rhett "Blaze" Holloway, the international racing sensation who’s as wild and unpredictable as the bikes he rides. His reputation as a thrill-seeker is matched only by his smoldering gaze.
Ezekiel Cross, the hard-nosed detective who’s always on the hunt for justice—and now, me. With his steely resolve and handcuffs that don’t just stay in the precinct, he’s a man of rules. Until I start breaking them.
Kieran Blackthorn, the reclusive bestselling dark romance author who’s just as mysterious and brooding as the villains he writes. He sees through my walls, and his words cut deeper than any blade.

Each of them is dangerous in their own right, but together? They’re lethal. They want to claim me, body and soul, but I refuse to be anyone’s possession. Yet, when their world collides with mine, the past I ran from resurfaces with a vengeance, and I’m forced into an arrangement I never wanted.

Surrounded by possessive, growly Alphas who are determined to keep me safe, I must navigate a world of high-stakes crime, heated desire, and secrets that could destroy us all.

Four Alphas. One Omega. And a deal that could either shatter me—or set me free.

Because in their arms, I might just find the one thing I never a pack worth fighting for.

KNOT THEIR ARRANGEMENT is a 150,000 word standalone age-gap omegaverse with no cliffhanger! This is a steamy dark contemporary romance with no shifter tendencies. It includes MM and MMFMM and a happily ever after is guaranteed. Suitable for readers 18+. Contains dark themes so please refer to author notes.

DNF after 2 weeks and 90% through

Repetitive.

Spoilers probably.

Whole chucks of this book were literally taken from the first book with little change in perception due to who the FMC is.

The author is very interested in getting every bit of Indian culture and weddings accurate, but take no time in researching burns or even seatbelts.

She spent close to what I could describe as 5 minutes in 2 separate occasions describing how she put her seatbelt on and the driver didn't. He was pinned and she was THROWN FROM THE VEHICLE. Don't worry she was having seggs and walking around in less than 12 hours.

The one in a vehicle fire with extensive burns is somehow talking and at a marriage ceremony in less than 3 days.

She was dragged from an exclusive club that it would be so impractical for her to be dragged from that the author skips how the villan even accomplished it.

She's one minute having intimate relations with a MMC and the beginning of the next chapter about to walk down the aisle no context, apparently no plan with her guys.

I just couldn't. It made no sense. How did she earn that phone call. Is it just to stay true to what the author said in the first book. He just handed her his phone when she asked. She earned it by asking for it? Idk

The guys are a relief by the end of their chapters dragged on. I had forgotten how much I despised the FMC. She tries to pull on stings of her audience as women being sold to their husbands. That traditional is awful (not just her scenario, all tradition). She had a character be actually racist against brown people (being brown myself) it was hard to stomach my entire life I never had someone working at an upscale place who is responsible for an event that's happening there be this oblivious of their obligations to their job. The suspension of disbelief aside this was just bad from FMC perspective. I liked the MMCs more. They had actually thoughts other than being a woman is the worst thing in the world.

Kept picking it up to try and work my way through it. Rage quitting, then tried again.

If you enjoyed it, good for you. Not my cup of tea.

Great story little overkill

I read this book in one sitting. I couldn't wait for this after reading knot thier omega

LIKES:
great story
Not over spicy

Dislikes:(slight spoilers)
Felt to over detailed and repedative (a few times I had to double check becuae I felt like I already read the paragraph) so details i felt could of been left\edited out (once I was told what kerians eyes looked like I don't need the deep detail eveytime the fmc looks into his eyes) also a few times there was the same scene retold from another charater like the
Kamari\kerians forest scene could of had like 10 15 pages edited out. I'd have like the story to keep going not replay of the last 20 mins I just read.

Story stated out "slow" super detailed account of like 2 days then a rushed ended i.e she gets drugged but we don't get to read about her waking up in dubi just bam at a gun range In dubi the next chapter bam at the forced ceremony out mmc were try to prevent and all of a sudden she dosent know if it was all a dream or if her guys will come get her. She has unaliving thoughts even though we are to assu e some plan had been made. Just didn't make sence.

One thing to note aunt Flo is visiting and Im very cranky

So, wait a minute. Remind me of what book i am reading, again? I have gotten to about 10% in, and it is basically re-doing the beginning of the last book. It is all the same conversations and everything. I. Was. Bored. I've already read all the boring dialogue here, I really don't want to have to read through it again.

I'm reminded of what I disliked most about the first book, and I really don't want to habe to go through it all again. This author is not one of my favorites.

Whoa! Did we really switch to 3rd person there for a paragraph?

OK, I managed to make it to 13%, and I just can't. The author's writing just annoys me.
I'm chucking this one into the dnf pile.

Better than the last book

I was on the fence about reading this story since I wasn't the biggest fan of the first book in the series (the plot and writing were meh, though the world building and some of the characters were interesting).

I was curious about the last MFC's bestie, Kamari, and what happened to her, and since it was on KU, I figured I would start the story and see how I felt a little bit in.

What I loved most was Kamari's strength to buck tradition (though she waivers from time to time, but let's give her a pass as a 19 year old). I think many people could relate to the pressure of our culture/upbringing, and how often the associated limiting beliefs really take the wind out of our sails. It's hard to see past all you have been raised to know, but several of the characters in the story push to be better than their pasts, and it's a great theme.

All in all, Kamari's story is a lot more solid and relatively more believable of a storyline. While there's still a lot of moments that I felt were paced weird (like, wait, how much time has or hasn't actually passed? Minutes? Days? Weeks? Especially when trying to line up with Astraea's story), there was more coherency between events. Some moments seemed to stretch out forever (like a character trips and is about to fall, but has like three pages of thoughts before they actually hit the ground).

I also felt you get more interesting MMCs, or at least more likeable than the last set as a whole, since they aren't so into enabling abusers.

So not my favorite Omegaverse, but I definitely felt it was a stronger story than "Knot their Omega" if you're on the fence about it.

I tried to finish this and since the lead keep repeating herself it was easy to skip pages and cheaper at a time. Unfortunately there was to many things that made NO since.

She ran away but they knew were she was the whole time and just let her be?

She was in the club and then was be dragged across a parking lot.

No one cared about the once in a lifetime show and how the hell did him know to show up with them in her size?

Her roommate cleaning out the room and all her stuff and shipping to my alpha house but she has not talk to her in days. Did not know she was missing.

Man in a woman's safe house

Calling her BBF with an unknown number and her just going off without a hello this is...

The retelling of what happen at the safe house like I just read it and I don't remember that and ummm you was unconscious like you are for most of the book.

I gave up after that.

What a story!

This book had a lot of twists and turns and some really great moments. I loved the cultural references and the highlights of how traditions can be used for good or bad. I am happy that Kamari was strong enough to take a chance for her freedom and her choices and ended up with a wonderful and redeeming conclusion with a little bit of revenge as well. The alphas she claims are a perfect match for her in every way. This book was a great second standalone in this universe and you won’t be disappointed!

Choppy

At times, the plot moved at a good pace with details and dialogue to match. At other times, it seemed as though the plot, dialogue, and details were all occupying alternate realities only to converge in a confusing jumble on the page.

While the messages of empowerment and rising above are worthy ones, I'm just convinced this book was the best vehicle for those messages.

I truly loved this!!! We need more in this style of background blending and reference to cultural differences. I really liked the scenes with her mom at the beginning. If you love omegaverse, this is a great one to spread (pages😉) open for.

Ugh this book is about 400 pages too long. I wanted to DNF so many times, I had to force myself to finish it. The story only spans about 4 days. 20% is spent on one lackluster scene. If I had to hear about their scents one more time, I was going to scream. The dialogue is so wordy, long winded and repetitive. Especially the inner dialogue.

perfect addition to the series

I absolutely loved how this whole series could be a standalone. Or read as a series. Book 2 perfectly aligns but is at the same time as book 1 just an different character grouping. I can’t wait for book 3. I love this author so much. I’ll have to read more of their books.

Amazing

I love the story, and the FMC is a Lil spit fire
So will written, and it's nice to see that even though the MMCs have a relationship, it's still a struggle for others to accept something they know is real.

Tradition

Good story. It did seem to cast a negative view on her culture. Over all it’s not a bad story.
