Seven magi remain on Earth, including the subject of an ancient prophecy, Cereza Mikhailov. Abandoned by her first love and isolated from everyone she ever cared about, Cereza has turned her back on her past and lives a shallow existence of lust and indulgence, unaware that the world is about to change for ever.
An ancient magical being wants to wipe out humanity and bring about a new world. An old enemy is rising again. Cereza’s parents are missing. And caught in the middle of it all is young waitress Rose Covington, whose budding relationship with a mysterious stranger might be cut off before it even begins.
Combining explicit sexual content, intense supernatural action and shocking plot twists into a dark erotic romance unlike any other, The Ancient’s Destiny brings an unforgettable conclusion to the Prophecy Girl Trilogy.
Danielle Austen is an ordinary woman; a full-time office manager, keen runner and self-professed nerd who spends her free time either at the gym, socialising with friends or curled up on the sofa with her husband. But unknown to her friends and her colleagues, she is also the author of full-length erotic novels which have been published worldwide in e-book and print by the multi-award winning Xcite Books.
Danielle’s unique blend of complex storytelling, intense action scenes and frequent, varied sexual content has received widespread critical acclaim, with E-Read Erotica Reviews citing Danielle as writing “new creations of literature that are mature, unafraid, and passionately move us as readers.” Her newest release The Ancient’s Destiny – the third and final book in the Prophecy Girl Trilogy – is her darkest and most ambitious book to date; an epic story of love, lust and magic set against the backdrop of the end of the world.
I've read all 3 of the prophecy girl trilogy over the last 2 weeks and The Ancient's Destiny is my favourite. The climax of the prophecy is finally realised and the showdown doesn't disappoint.
But if you don't much care about the story and just want to know about the sex... Rest assured they're as wickedly arousing as the previous novels. Danielle Austen sure can write a sex scene!
Nice writing style, easily absorbing. I highly recommend it if you're into fantasy and/or erotica.
