Part Two of the Dark Riders MC series

It’s only the beginning for Charlie Hill.
After almost losing Aubrey to Darren Kelly, Charlie knows that he needs to get the club involved. But that means confessing to the club’s vice president Danny that he's been sleeping with Aubrey. Charlie knows that Danny is going to lose his mind but he also knows that Aubrey is more than worth it. However, she doesn't seem to agree.

Faced with a situation she never saw coming, Aubrey doesn’t know what to do.
She never expected to fall for Charlie when she asked him for help. She just figured he was the best idea because he never talks to the guys, and often does his own thing. But now, she has to tell her brother that, not only did she sleep with one of his biggest enemies, but she’s also sleeping with the one club member he’s never fully trusted. Aubrey is terrified of Danny’s reaction and takes a step back from Charlie.

Aubrey will have to face down some of her biggest demons to win back her lost trust.
After years of being pushed away, Charlie feels used, and takes it out on the people around him. Meanwhile, Aubrey has never been more miserable, but even if she wanted to fix things, Charlie can’t stand to be around her, and she’s left feeling alone and afraid. As Darren’s club makes everyone’s lives a living hell, Aubrey will have to fight to win back the trust of the only man she’s ever loved.

For such a short read, these books are good. They only take like, half an hour to read but they pack a decent punch.

Aubrey and Charlie are having issues with a psychotic stalker who won't take no for an answer from Aubrey.

Charlie is dealing with issues from his past that make him need to shut down and close himself off when he thinks he is going to get hurt especially by Aubrey and his biker "family" and Aubrey is realising that her family and her biker status is not everything but Charlie might be.

For a short story this is well worth a look. Now I will be off to read part three- thank God it is all ready to go! I hate waiting for series!
