My stories explore the human heart amidst the stars. I delve into themes of identity, love, and family through characters like disillusioned robots and future families. If you're seeking emotionally rich narratives, you'll find a home in my tales.

From my journalism days across the country to quiet Maryland life with my book-loving spouse and rescue cats, storytelling has been my constant. I aim to connect readers with stories that explore human emotions in extraordinary circumstances.

I'd love to hear about your favorite characters or chat about what makes a story resonate. Feel free to connect with me here or join my newsletter for more insights and cosmic adventures. Your story matters to me, too.

I started this book new to the author, but was very quickly drawn in to the story, to the world, to her predicament. As Dagny fights to save her daughter and in doing so knowing she would have to betray everything. I was drawn in to the choices made, the friendships and the worlds built. How Dagny felt and how she ended up with something so much more than she could have ever imagined.
It's a lovely story, a beautiful telling with a suitable ending and leaves you feeling happy and satisfied that it goes the way a telling of this kind should.
This is a story that deserves to be told and read.

I absolutely loved how the author has intricately focused on world building, beautifully building upon the mother-daughter relationship as the story progresses. Many other elements have also been weaved into the story that have made it even more engrossing. The story is full of ooh and aah moments, sprinkled with a bit of comedy (The Kipi and others), which has helped in ensuring the story doesn't get too stressful.

Overall, I absolutely loved every bit of the story, and look forward to reading more works by Nicky Pentilla.

This is a very interesting story line. The protagonist is well characterized and sympathetic. The myriad aliens are interesting as are their minor conflicts.

She must solve a truly difficult situation--how to recover from a situation of being thoroughly compromised by external forces.

The story is well paced and moves along nicely. It would be nice if some of these supporting characters had been more developed as it would make their actions more understandable
