It's soooo cute how Orcus, Flame and Reaper slowly bonded with Alina, letting her adjust and get comfortable with everything that's happening, they are so lovely 🥰
I know that reverse harem books have a loooooot of spiceeee(I don't mind it), but I had to skip a lot of pages cuz it felt too intense and tooooo much💀

4.5 Three Mates are Better than One Stars!
Their Lethal Pet was set in an intricate wold of different realms, kingdoms, humans and paranormals. While a little confusing at first, I did enjoy its uniqueness. Our FMC, Alina is chosen as an offering on a night where monsters look for a mate. However, Alina isn’t set on participating for mating reasons but is searching for her sister. It’s this twist of fate that puts her in a Mythos Fae, Hybrid Jaguar Shifter Fae and a Death Fae’s orbit. And these Godlike men recognize her as their souls’ Omega other half.
On a mission, Orcus and his second in commands, Flame and Reaper never expect to find the woman to bring them to their knees. Yet here they are. Despite the mystery surrounding Alina and the political upheaval happening around them, these Fae will do everything to protect, worship and love their mate.
Alina was a softer character than I’m used to reading from Lexi but I didn’t like her any less for it. She was an Omega with an instinctive personality and I honestly loved her acceptance of who she was becoming. Her fierceness came out to play in the best moments and while I wish she’d had a larger badassery moment, I also understand the part she played. I loved her adoration and devotion to her mates.
Orcus was the Mythos Fae with a delicious alpha soul that had a protective streak worthy of praise and his calm dominance was hot. I mean…that Alpha/Omega hunt scene? IYKYK.
Flame was the Hybrid Jaguar shifter with a penchant for brushing Alina’s hair and offered an emotional piece that melted my heart. While mushy for his mate, he was a predator with everyone else. I loved his primal nature and the primal need he felt for Alina.
Reaper was the Death Fae with an airy personality that could quickly turn dark when his circle was threatened. A tattooed man with shadows and weaponry, his particular brand of love felt possessive and sensual in all the ways I love.
With a relationship driven plot and a little action sprinkled throughout, I was thoroughly engaged in Alina and her mates’ fall for each other. Lexi did a fantastic job at creating these characters so they were offering one another the pieces they felt were missing in their lives. It was super steamy with all the biting and knotting I’ve come to love in Omegaverse and I appreciated that it was ALL about Alina. I 100% could have read another 100 pages of this mate circle. Alina deserved her happy ending and I’m glad she found it.

You know it’s bad when as a smut reader, the book is so horrible you can’t even push trough the smut.
You have no idea how mad this book makes me. I should’ve seen the signs at the beginning, why did I continue?
The first few chapters are bearable, then everything goes amazingly. Until the 51% mark, and everything crashes.
This book had the vibe where Alina (I seriously had to look up her name) was cheating on her supposedly closest mate. I kid you not, the smut is literally a full 17 chapters long. 17 chapters of just pure smut and smashing and repetitiveness this book did not need.
You can get the point across with a few graphic scenes and then vague intel of what happens next, like most smut authors. But no. Unlike most smut authors this author takes the usually glossed over part where they’re constantly smashing for 3-5 days and actually puts it into live context and explicit scenes. For 17 chapters, no break.
And some might find that loving, like I would, except she’s only smashing 2 of her mates while the third is off dealing with political drama. And this third mate has no idea they’re having hours and hours and hours of just pure oral sex.
“But it’s just oral sex, it’s not penetration, they’re not really doing the deed.” Does oral foreplay need to be a-no-exaggeration 14 chapters long? All while we are being constantly reminded with chapters of the third mates POV that he’s not there when these characters are supposed to be having a foursome? And even as all of them have extraordinarily advocated for it before hand?
Yes, these scenes are consensual but that does not excuse the deranged and inconsistant character decisions. And I can not stress it enough how the main character doesn’t even THINK of the third mate during these 14 chapters of pleasure. Because that is what it is, only pleasure. There is no savoring of bodies or exploring what makes another deliciously shiver, or just any admiration for each other besides the fact that these 2 men can make her come and feel good.
If you’ve read this far, I’m sure you’re wondering why I’ve given this book 2⭐️s instead of 1.
I did enjoy some parts of this book. The dirty talk was immaculate and are definitely quote of the month worthy. I also liked how Alina was (at first) a warm goopy mess for these men. I eat that shit up. But once they started smashing? She was nothing but a selfish bitch.
If you ever tell me these characters love each other I will do nothing but stare. In the bedroom they care about nothing but their own pleasure and making another person feel that pleasure. That’s it. There is no emotional connection in those moments. However, when they’re not hitting it up they’re very sweet and kind. Except Reaper. That man is nothing but horny and has a kink for knives I did not find appealing.
The fantasy aspects were okay. I liked the descriptions and alternate reality trope. But that was it, there was no other world building besides some monsters, mentions of supposedly genetically altered humans, and a few Greek gods thrown in there.
As for the other plot (which I won’t mention because of spoilers) was supposed to cary the book after these characters finally mate. And at first I cared but after the chapters and chapters and chapters of spice I literally could not give a fuck. And I never cared about the reason these men were in Alina’s universe in the first place, so why would I care afterward?
After the romance plot was completed I had no reason to stay. I had no reason to read the last 20% (100pgs) of fantasy drama after the 150 pages of nothing but sex because I did. Not. Care!
I don’t give a book 1⭐️ unless I actively hate it and preach to the people how horrible it is. (*ahEm* Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire *caUgh cAUgh* Dragon called by Cassie Alexander. You deserve to burn.) And out of the 113 books I have read so far this year, I have only give 2 books 1⭐️ and I have already mentioned them.
This book deserves 2⭐️s because I stayed up till 6 am reading 150 pages of this book while it was in the good phase. Then again, after page 299 I skimmed the book until I figured out when the smut stopped. And I kid you not I figured out it was on page 402 aka the beginning of chapter 36 when I was only on chapter 27 with an already previous 5 chapters of smut and sex.
I am not ignorent to believe these characters will stop smashing in the last 4th of the book. They no doubt will. But I do not care what happens, I won’t even skim for the satisfaction to know how it ends. That’s how bad this book is.
And from the reviews I’ve read off other people this is apparently Foss’s best book. I will not be reading more of her books no matter how tempted I am with the sound of a caring 1,000 year old vampire. I most certainly will not be doing this to myself again and again.
Do with this information what you will.

Their Lethal Pet by Lexi Foss is a wild ride of dark romance and intense spice. The story centers around Alina, our feisty FMC, who gets caught up in Monsters Night, a dystopian event where portals to other realms open, and monsters search for their mates. Think Hunger Games meets Divergent with a spicy twist.
Alina lost her sister to Monsters Night and believes she might still be alive. To find her, Alina needs to be chosen as an offering, which she is. Enter our MMCs: Flame, Orcus, and Reaper. Flame is part Shifter Fae, part Corpse Fae; Orcus is a god-like Mythos Fae with immense strength; and Reaper, whose talent with weapons is unmatched.
These three monsters save Alina from a bad guy and quickly fall for her, calling her their pet, little one, and little panther. Alina has no idea what’s going on, but she’s about to find out. The chemistry between them is sizzling, with ample mention of knots and barbs that will keep you 'hooked'. Also cupcakes ... <3 you Reaper!
The plot has a definite dystopian vibe, with the Elite treating non-Elites like cattle. Alina’s rebellion against this system is what makes her a target. The three monsters had planned to use the night as a cover to search for Orcus’ mother, however once they see Alina, that all changes. Their journey together is a mix of action, intrigue, and plenty of spice.
The book is a decent read with some seriously hot scenes. If you’re into omegaverse or dark romance with a dystopian twist, this one’s for you, though I feel the plot could use a bit more depth. Overall, it’s an entertaining escape into a world where monsters might just steal your heart.

NOTE: This review may be a mess because I am trying to write this quickly before I head back to work, but I just feel like this book was so great and have to get my thoughts out about it! Not to mention that its been FOREVER since I've written a reivew and I personally LOVE writing them!

Wow! What a great start to the year! I'm excited for what books I'll sink into this year if I can read more of books like this one!
Okay...I see you Instagram ads...! I was not expecting that to be as good as it was being that it came across my feeds via an Insta ad. I mean I really shouldn't be so biased or such a book snob, since I have been finding some real gems from insta lately (like the Call of the Siren book that I haven't finished, but will definitely be writing a review on soon). In my defense, though, some of these book accounts have a bit of bad taste sometimes or overhype a book IMO. So there's that.
However, this was a great book, so I will be doing way more reviews and read WAAYYY more books with less skepticism in the future.
The basic gist of this book is that Alina gets put in a Monster Night election. Its not voluntary and usually it is something that the villagers don't know much about, just that they will become brides/grooms to random 'monsters'. Of course, our leading lady is chosen (sorry for the spoiler, but I did warn you lol). So, off she goes to the Monster City, where she is to be mated. This totally reminded me of this Russian movie called I am Dragon. Now, I am not Russian, but that movie is seriously BOMB! You have to see it!
Anyways, sorry I got off track here, but this book totally gave I am Dragon vibes. Which is why I mentioned it. lol.
So Alina obviously gets not one but three fated mates. Which I'm assuming y'all probably figured out by either reading the synopsis or taking a gander at that lovely cover.
So, now that the book is pretty much summed up (you'll have to read the book to get a more in depth description because I just wanted to give a taste, not give the whole book away) I'll continue on to WHY I loved it.
Let's start with the characters...
These guys were CRAZY! With a capital 'C', but in such a good way. Yes, they are her mates and this was a total 'touch her and die' kind of relationship with total 'alpha males' type of story. Am I a glutton for that? Yes. Yes, I am. And I'm mostly not ashamed of that! 😂Now, while these guys are considered 'monsters' in this world, they totally ARE NOT monster-like. They are gentlemanly with a smack-load of B.A.-ness.
Like total anime OP character B.A-ness (the reference I'll be using is from Darker than Black, Noragami, and Dororo). Which I suggest all three of those anime--especially Dororo--if you haven't ever seen them! They are awesome! Of course, the three in this book are larger than life, so not quite this vibe. But the death glares with the 'I will kill you if you hurt my mate' kind of vibe is definitely these dudes. Dororo just gives me Reaper vibes becuase of his blades as limbs and Repear can produce blades from his shadows on his skin. Basically the same thing, right?
Okay, so basically all three of the Male leads are fantastic! Sure there is plenty of chemistry between the FMC and the MMCs, which they act upon plenty throughtout the book, but there's more to it. There is focus on the story, the FMC's overall goals, and the MMCs giving the FMC time to get used to the idea of their future/relationships.
They didn't force their ideals on her, but they were very clear about their intentions towards her and every step of their relationship was built on trust and consent. They gave the FMC opportunities to back out or to leave at anytime! Which I adored!
Yes, their relationship moved fast, but it didn't seem too fast. I think this had to do with the fact that the MMCs had their own small acts of kindness and respect, and little gestures that helped with the pacing of their relationship. Despite the growing bond and the fact that they were soul mates.
For example, Reaper and his strawberry cupcakes. *SQUEEEAL* 🤭😍
LOVED IT!
The FMC wasn't very whiny or annoying either. I felt that her character was pretty well-established. The author did (for the most part) a good job making her character duality known and used the MMCs to really explain the changes in her demeaner well. For example, our FMC starts off rebelious and strong-headed. After she meets the MMCs and they start the bonding process (soul mates and such), her omega insticts start kicking in, and it makes her a bit softer, confused (bc. she's thrust in this wirlwind adventure to another city and is getting omega senses), and obsessed with the guys. So there is a 180 on her personality. However, I think it was well-explained and her change isn't annoying. So I call it a win!
In fact, I think it showed a good character development on the FMCs part because we see her becoming stronger in her role as an omega and as a person.
The story was pretty unique, though I could have done without some of those side character names. Just a personal thing, though.
I felt that being death fae, shifter fae, and Mythios fae was pretty unique. I also like that the author did a good job of making them go against their predecieved natures. For example, the real 'monsters' being the humans rather than the beings with so much power at their fingertips, who totally could do major damage if they wanted to.
There wasn't much "humor" I would say, like bust out laughing humor. But it was funny in its own right. I actually found it to be very nice and endearing, with a hint of humor brushed in.
What I wish I could have seen, maybe in the bonus book, was more of the FMC seeing the city in the netherworld. Like the human realm with real pizza and the actual chicago we're familiar with. Instead, it was just another spice scene, which was great and all, but I would have liked something with more substance. Like even their baby being born or something of that nature.
Other than that, this book was FANTASTIC! I definitely recommend it and I hope you guys like it as much as I did! Now I'm off to hunt down some strawberry cupcakes and coffee! XD I think I might have to bake 'em myself if I can't buy 'em!

Okay...I see you Instagram ads...! I was not expecting that to be as good as it was being that it came across my feeds via an Insta ad. I mean I really shouldn't be so biased or such a book snob, since I have been finding some real gems from insta lately (like the Call of the Siren book that I haven't finished, but will definitely be writing a review on soon). In my defense, though, some of these book accounts have a bit of bad taste sometimes or overhype a book IMO. So there's that.
However, this was a great book, so I will be doing way more reviews and read WAAYYY more books with less skepticism in the future.
The basic gist of this book is that Alina gets put in a Monster Night election. Its not voluntary and usually it is something that the villagers don't know much about, just that they will become brides/grooms to random 'monsters'. Of course, our leading lady is chosen (sorry for the spoiler, but I did warn you lol). So, off she goes to the Monster City, where she is to be mated. I chose to read this as a palate cleanser from the Power of Five series and also because I love a good mythology depiction.
I wanted to like this. I really did, but I just couldn’t deal with the cringe writing and the Omegaverse thing is just not for me. It’s not even so much the knotting or breeding kink (which I’m also not that fond of). I’ve read other books that contain those two elements but I think it was the reverse harem coupled with the breeding thing that made this a done deal for me. It just felt like too much going on at one time and none of it seemed realistic, even for Fae.
The almost instant feelings were also an issue for me. I don’t require the slowest burn but the insta-love thing is so unrealistic that I just can’t get behind it. Unfortunately, this seems to be a common theme in the world of erotica so what can you do?
I did like the semblance of a plot that was presented though. It was pretty interesting which is probably why I was able to get through this at all, but not interesting enough for me to give this a reread or even read the other standalones within the series.

Alina, the female human lead, has been raised as a poor villager in a system where, once a year, victims are chosen and taken to be “sacrificed” to monsters who rule earth as mates. Her sister was taken two years ago and she recently received a note giving her information regarding her sister’s whereabouts and she’s determined to join her, no matter who she has to offend.
Orcus, one male alpha lead, is a mythos fae and, functionally, a god. He and his people have been searching for their omegas for two millennia, since they were stolen away. When his brother gives him a lead that takes him to Earth and the Monster’s Night, he explores the possibility, intrigued by Alina but unwilling to be distracted by her. His best friends and the other two male alpha leads, Flame, a hybrid jaguar shifter/corpse fae, and Reaper, a death fae with a propensity for creating weapons, are also intrigued by Alina.
When they drop into Earth on Monster’s Night, the males are shocked to feel Alina’s distress and immediately respond to it, saving her from human attackers. Now they need to unravel the mystery of who Alina is, where her sister is, and whether that connects with their own search. Simultaneously, they need to work out whether Alina is actually the mate they all believe she is, and how physical compatibility works with humans…
This story is quadruple POV, well written, and a steamy dystopian, fantasy, reverse harem, omegaverse romance. I enjoyed Alina’s curiosity and explorative nature, as well as her resilience and unwillingness to submit to intimidation. I enjoyed Orcus’ protective nature and his focus on his quest as well as Alina. I enjoyed Reaper’s playfulness contrasted with the danger of his nature, and his utter irreverence and lack of concern about boundaries and proprieties. I enjoyed Flame’s laidback approach and his willingness to allow Alina space to adjust to all the changes in her world. I enjoyed the relationship development, as pairs and as a group. I enjoyed the spicy intimate scenes, and the active contribution they made to relationship development. I enjoyed the ending, and the teasers for other books in the series.

I love reading Lexi’s books, especially with all the Easter eggs of her other books in this world. This book is part of a standalone series with authors J.R. Thorne & Mila Young. This can & is meant to be read as a standalone. I do think there is enough world building in this book to be able to keep up with the world. This book is about a human named Alina, picked as a sacrifice for Monster’s Night (Hunger Game vibes). Monster’s Night is when portals open for monsters of other dimensions, where they are able to come through to this dimension in hopes to find their mates. Except Alina has no plans to find a mate & is actually looking for her sister, who was picked as a sacrifice two years ago. Orcus, Flame & Reaper are different types of Fae from a different dimension, that are using the portals of Monster’s Night as cover to investigate the mystery of the Omegas that have been missing for two thousand years. Their plans get disrupted when they sense their mate, but Alina is human & has no understanding of these Fae or their mating customs. This book was so good & will keep you entertained & guessing what’s going to happen next throughout the entire book! I can’t wait for the other two connected standalones! As well as the series Lexi will be writing on Alina’s sister!!

3.5-ish⭐️’s rounded up - while the plot was enjoyable and drew me in, I feel like there are loads of unanswered questions. After reading spoilers for the next books in the series (standalone books), I don’t feel it’s worth continuing as it seems I’d likely get annoyed the further I go. That said, this book was interesting and sexy in a way it didn’t feel overwhelming and the full-cast narration via audiobook was brilliant! It’s rare I wish a book was longer and wanted more information and more background on characters, but I truly wanted that from this book. Even the mundane parts of their lives would be welcome. Or perhaps that is a result of how the voice actors/actresses entranced me. It truly brought me in and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

With a set of mysteries to solve, will their instant obsession take them of course or make them stronger than ever?
The characters complimented each other well. Reaper’s chaos, the sweetness of Flame, Orcus alphaness, and Alina’s determination & spirit.
The spice is nice and so is everything else. If you’re looking for a lot of plot, then you’ve picked the wrong book. While there is a great deal of world building and story it does get put on the back burner. But if you’re looking for spice, then look no further.

So good!!
I absolutely loved this book! It was so different from how I thought it would be!
Alina a chosen as an “offering” for Monsters Night. She comes from a little village that isn’t very honest with its residents. She finds out fast that Monsters Night is not what she thought at all. And even the monsters aren’t what she thought they would be like.
Once she meets Orcus, Reaper, and Flame everything changes. She learns about everything that her towns viscount has been hiding from them. This leads them all on a journey that brings them closer and helps Alina learn more about what she is.
So many twists and turns! I never saw that ending coming!! I’m definitely going to be reading the next one!

I've been in a book slump for a long while now. I started this book and it took me a minute to get into it. I liked it, but again, book slump. I don't know exactly where in the book it snagged me, but it was still early on. To the point I finished it in no time. Firstly, it gives a bit of hunger games feel with a selection of sorts. Which its not identical, you soon find out how it all truly works. So the author really made it her own thing. There were also no-typical supernaturals, instead of the normal shifters (there is one but still different in a way) and vampires (there's some similar, but still different enough I wasn't sure if they were or not like them). I loved this spin on supernaturals. There was also some Greek mythology spins as well. Not heavily used, but wrote in a way that truly made them the authors own creations. I really loved it. I'm also for Omegas and Alphas. This didn't have the overbearing Alphas. Which I do love in some stories, and some not so much. This one I loved. They truly loved and respect their Omega. Which do not take that as less spicy scenes because they were still spicy! The author did a great job incorporating it all and making it flow. I really enjoyed this and can't wait for book 2!

Re-read February 2025: I read this book just 4 months ago, but was in the mood for some fantasy omegaverse. Loved it as much this second time around as I did the first time! I listened to the audio and it was SO good, there was a whole cast of narrators for the different voices and I was totally here for that! ♥️

Some of the reviews made me wary, as they described this book as one big smut fest…but I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t! I mean, is it smutty? Yes! But that’s to be expected in a reverse harem / omegaverse book. But it also had an intriguing plot and interesting world building. It was a bit hard to follow in the very beginning, but once I was up to speed I couldn’t put this book down! I loved Alina’s mates. All very different, but delicious in their own way. All super protective and all in from first sight. Alina took everything in stride and was bad ass in her own way. The smut was smutting…phew! And the romance was sugary sweet. Lots of action, all in all I enjoyed this one a lot!!

This book was shockingly bad. First off, you're thrown into the Monster Night universe, which is so convoluted and interconnected that this book can't stand alone—it's deeply rooted in Foss' fae universe, so if you're not caught up, you're left behind.
Secondly, for the first 75% of the book, there’s almost no plot. Then, out of nowhere, the story shifts off-page to focus on the FMC's sister, sidelining the main character. This new plot, which could be interesting in a different story, is dumped on the reader abruptly.
Lastly, even the smut is disappointing. It's filled with repetitive phrases like "she sparked, and seized, and clenched, and saw stars" but lacks any real description of the action.
I really can't express how little I enjoyed this book. Yikes.

We are quickly introduced to our 3 men: Orcus, Flame and Reaper. These men are obviously large and sexy monsters (fae) of the night. But they have a mission from Hades, to use Monsternight as an excuse to cross worlds to find Hades' & Orcaus' mommy dearest.
We learn about Monster Night which gives immediate Hunger Games vibes. People from each village have their names put into a lottery system. Gaining extra rations or breaking the law will get you extra entries. Forced to become the playthings to monsters. Our heroine, Alina of course, is drawn. She is beautiful and defiant. Her only mission is to find her sister.
When paths cross, will their instant obsession with Alina put all of them off course, or will their bond help them save everything?

I was honestly confused with the world building in the beginning since it has both multiple worlds, and each world has multiple realms. I struggled to picture it. It was easiest to picture Alina's world as Hunger Games. And then the men's world as our modern world. Fortunately, the reader learns intandem with Alina.
There is spice, obviously 🌶🌶. It starts about 40% through the book and is the majority of the next 150 pages. We also get a little tease of another Harem opportunity for the next book.
Since over half the book is smut, the plot got put on the back burner. It picks back up in the last 20%, refocusing on Alina's original mission to find her sister. Although issues arise and are quickly solved, I was completely satisfied. 🧁🍓🧁It was quick and to the point. I look forward to reading the stories of the other various characters. I am specifically interested in Cain and his Strigoi 🧛♂️
I enjoyed this story as a quick standalone RH read. If you enjoy books such as Ice Planet Barbarians, Maddison Kate, and/or Scornedverse, then you'll enjoy this story as well.

I enjoyed this book a lot tbh and it had most of the stuff I look for in omega/shifter books; Scenting, nesting, mating, protective mates etc. I notice that Lexi Foss is one author that knows how to wright a good shifter book imp so I’ll definitely be looking into the other books in this series. The only reason I’m giving it a 4 is because of some things that I wasn’t a fan of. I felt like the guys kinda pressured the FMC into getting pregnant to the point she felt like that’s what she wanted, when it was clear she didn’t know what she truly wanted for herself at the time. My least favourite guy was Reaper, the whole time he just talked about smex and smex again. Sure there was some parts where they actually talked, but he always had to bring up something sexual and honestly it got kind of annoying after a while…

Quite interesting elements here and I have to say I was curious as to the entire hierarchical structure that this dystopian universe offered alongside the diverse realms, paranormal creatures and magical kingdoms.
The story itself was cute and Reaper, Orcus and Flame were quite patient and open about their world to Alina. There was a bit of mystery there as the Mythos Fae omegas have been disappearing and that added a slight suspense to the storyline, which I appreciated.
This was a very pleasant escape from reality and I have to say I am curious about some of the side characters, in particular Cain and the Strigoi. Would definitely like to see how their story goes.

A dark and exciting why chose romance that hooked me from the start. This new dystopian world pulled me in and I can’t wait to see more.
The story moved at a quick pace and I found it hard to put down. I enjoyed the multiple POVs and being able to see a little bit into each of the mates. (Reaper was my fav!)
Full of a lot of various tropes to enjoy like; omegaverse, why choose, various paranormal creatures, gods, portals, new worlds, unique mythologies, deadly protective MMCs, morally grey characters, multiple POVs, strong Omega FMC, nesting, knotting, steam, groups scenes, a touch of suspense, and so much more!

Es ist ein absolut umfangreiches Multiversum, gepaart mit Omegas und Alphas. Das ist definitiv nichts für komplette Neulinge des Genres! Die Geschichte ist etwas langatmig, aber sie hält, was sie verspricht. Heiße Szenen und ein spannendes Universum. Götter, Kreaturen, Wandler und das alles in mehreren Universen? Klingt spannend? Das ist es auch! Allerdings ist es eben etwas langatmig. 🤣 Es wird viel beschrieben und wir erleben auch einige innere Monologe, die halt eben nicht ganz so spannend sind. Ich hatte aber Spaß beim Lesen und habe es innerhalb eines Tages verschlungen! Nun will ich weiterlesen!
Zu der Buch Reihenfolge/ Verwirrend ist nur, das der eigentliche nächste Band, als „erster Teil“ der Reihe beschrieben wird. Also ist das wohl so zu sagen eine Vorgeschichte?
In diesem Teil: hier geht es um Alina und die Nacht der Monster in ihrer Realität / Welt, jedoch auch um Serapina (Persephone) (die Schwester von Alina ) und diese Story geht mit „die Braut des Todes“ (erscheint auf Deutsch erst Januar 2026) weiter und soll eine Trilogie sein. (Ob hier auch alle 3 bände dann unterschiedlich sind oder wirklich um Serapina gehen, weiß ich nicht)
Die Nacht der Monster geht aber mit die Blutsvermählten weiter. (Anscheinend eben in diesem Universum von Alina bzw. In der Welt der „Nacht der Monster“) Bzw. Ist dies hier wohl eher ein eigenständiger Einzelband über Vampire auf dieser Erde/welt.
Dann geht die Nacht der Monster „weiter“ mit “im Bann der Schattenmonster“ Auch dieser Roman ist eigenständig, spielt aber eben in der Welt.

This book caught my eye because it was rated #1 in paranormal romance on Amazon’s sales rankings and was on KU. I ignored the cheesy cover art and dove in because we don’t judge a book by its cover. The overall story is engaging. Likable MMC’s in a reverse harem monster/gods romance. The world is a bit magical and a bit dystopian. I had a fun time reading it, but the last maybe 20% of the book I was checking out. Not the best RH nor romance, but works as a fun weekend read.

I really enjoyed this book. World-building and story are great. I love Orcus, Flame, and Reaper so much. They had me hooked since the beginning. I love the banter between them so much I have paragraphs of them highlighted🤣 Alina is a rebellious and strong FMC. I'm excited to read the rest of the series.
