I never expected to catch the eye of our silver fox CEO. My internship was supposed to be a stepping stone to my dream career, not a path to him.
Our late-night texts start innocently, but the chemistry between us is undeniable. His dominant nature clashes with my innocence in the most exhilarating ways, drawing me into a forbidden game of truth or dare texting that quickly spirals into something more.
But when my internship comes to an end, I’m torn between my career and my heart. I make a decision, and Ethan... he didn't take it well.
But he's not the kind of man who accepts no for an answer. He won't let me walk away without a fight.
Now, I'm at a crossroads. Does this younger woman submit to an older man exactly twice her age, or do I walk away from the only man who's ever made me feel truly alive, both in the bedroom and the boardroom? The clock is ticking, and I don't know what to do. But I do know one my silver fox CEO won't wait forever.
*Texting The Silver Fox CEO is a steamy short, insta-everything, OTT, standalone romance with a HEA, no cheating, and no cliffhanger.
I liked this little story. On some level, I can understand why Harper freaked out and pulled away even if it annoyed me and I thought she took it a little far. I loved Ethan. The second he felt Harper pulling away he started freaking out and going “hell no”. He did everything in his power to get her back and make them that perfect team he talked about.
The age gap was mentioned a few times but was not overly in your face. Him being a CEO was the major storyline and her boss trope more. A lot of storyline for a spicy novella.
