Summer Prescott is well-known in the Cozy Mystery realm, having written and published several Best-Sellers in the genre. An avid reader of Thrillers, Horror and Suspense, the author has decided to follow her passion with the debut of her Thriller, The Quiet Type, which launched in the top 50 of the Serial Killer category on Amazon. The novel has received high praise in its reviews, and Summer is considering a possible trilogy or series to continue the story.
My first thought was how much people would be upset with you, Summer, had you offed the pup! 🐶
I wish this had been longer, but all the info necessary to get the point across: means, motive, opportunity was there, so nothing else was required. However, I enjoy this series so much that I wish each book was longer.
I especially enjoy reading about the relationships between Shea and Trish; Shea and Carrie; and Carrie and Clarence. Well, Carrie and all the animals. I’m glad she was added into this series because she’s a good character and has really taken to farm life like a duck to water!
My next read is also by Summer Prescott: Homicide and Honeycrisps (An Appleton Farms Cozy Mystery Book 1).
I agree with Shea. If a vet tech treated me that nasty, I might be tempted to find a new vet, but it wasn't long before that was a non-issue when the woman was found dead. Shea wondered if there was someone else in the vet clinic who was equally nasty, so she and Carrie started sleuthing.
Carrie was very handy to have around s during the showdown and showed that perp she meant business. You go, girl! I'm eager to read the next book now. I kept reading in the reviews on Amazon that this was the last book, but I could’ve sworn the author said there’d be eight books total. I hope that’s still the case.
Shea and her daughter team up this time around to clear her name after being a person of interest in the murder of a vet tech she had an argument with the day before the murder. It was so fun seeing Shea and Carrie work together on this. I really am loving the addition of Carrie to the regular character lineup. Loved it. Upon seeing other reviews I really hope this isn’t the last book in the series. Things are still getting started. So much more story to be told between Shea and Seth as well as Shea and her daughter Carrie.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book provided by the publisher.
This is the last book in yet another enjoyable and entertaining series from my favorite author. I have read every book of hers and they never disappoint. Finely drawn realistic characters that seem like old friends with great stories to keep you happily entertained.
Always a clean read but yet never boring. I am looking forward to more enjoyable books from this author and all of her SPBP writers.
Carrie is living with Shea now. Mama couldn't be happier. After Shea has a confrontation with a woman, that woman ends up murdered. Shea is at the top of the list of suspects. Of course, Shea starts investigating. Samson gets hurt and is rushed to the vet. He ends up being ok after being taken care of. Does Shea figure out who the killer is? I am so sad that the series is done but I am happy to have enjoyed this one.
Fully Vetted is a clever and engaging cozy mystery that combines small-town charm with suspenseful plotting. Shea Beaumont is a relatable and proactive sleuth, whose determination to clear her name drives a fast-moving narrative. The balance of mystery, humor, and community dynamics makes this a thoroughly enjoyable read for cozy mystery fans.
Shea outspokenness leads her to be a murder suspect. shea has a disagreement with aa vet assistant who ends up ded later. Shea become prime suspect as she finds a way to clear her name by finding a killer. It’s an action pack cozy not to be missed.
This was another really interesting and who done it mystery! But the fun that went on in between times with mother, daughter and farm stuff was wonderful. Now how about the sheriff?
Another short but well-plotted story from Summer Prescott. I hate to leave Shea and her friends behind but I guess it's time to jump into another of Prescott's series.
