I am totally shared with this story. Some parts were really good while some where totally WTH?

I feel like I liked/disliked this story but at the end of the day realize that I read it from beginning to end and wanted to know the story until the last line read. So obviously it means that this story did not leave indifferent and deserve to be read.

This is the first time I am using a good/meh rating. Because I honestly liked some and disliked other parts.

First I must say that this story was really interesting and I really enjoyed the novelty to set up the story with bikers and gangs. It was original. All along, I thought that it was honest and rang true. I kept thinking that the author must have been somehow involved with bikers or she knew somebody who is/was. So many details sounded true to me. I’ve never been around bikers but I was truly impressed by the secondary people and how they felt alive. This plot pushed me to read it up to the end even if I had some issue with the romance.

The romance was meh. I did not feel it. I think the main reason is that I did not believe the heroine. She was out of place. It was funny, I felt as if the author wanted to include Cinderella into a big bad asses gang and they fell under her spell. You know, two stories mixed together but totally not matching and not credible?

So she is a virgin, had no more money and the only option for her is to be a pole exotic dancer????????? Of course! that would be my first option… yours? Never would I think to apply at a restaurant, fast food, cleaning, big stores that are always hiring on the spot. Of course, my fist obvious choice would be to apply for a pole exotic dancer! It would not matter if I had ZERO experience, it would not matter if I danced like a penguin because I have big boobs, you know. My boobs would do the job for me.

(...)

The gang was not doing drugs, a little prostitution but they were not pimps and not sure they dealt with arms or else and they killed only rarely and if necessary. They had a strip club with different type of women including whores but they were very respected and protected… mmmm really??? the ideal biker gang? The dream biker gang? the certainly not realistic biker gang from my perspective. I am an outsider but it was pushed a bit too far the credibility.

But, if I put aside a couple of things. The connection between the males felt right. The orgies felt right. The hierarchy felt right. The honor code felt right. The rules felt right. Many things smelled the truth. And this is why I kept reading up to the end. I was really fascinated in many ways.

The males main characters were not heroes.

Sex?

So nope. I am sorry. I could not give more than a 2 poly stars. It sucks because I truly believe that the plot had HUGE potential. Somehow, even with this rating, I am still recommending it because of the plot. Some story, I wish to forget but this one will be remembered because of it. I am just sad that the characters, romance and sex (and edits) did not match it.

ps: Appreciated the pen name related to the series and the cover book!

This genre is probably my most favorite and I continually track new releases. I was pleasantly surprised to read a book in this genre by a new author that I really liked and enjoyed. It was different and the author has an engaging writing style that makes you connect with the characters. It takes very good writing for me to really take a long term M/F/M committed relationship but this author accomplished that. I hope that this develops into a series and while I enjoyed the M/F/M, I hope some of the characters end up with a monogamous relationship too. I'll confirm what so many other reviewers have said; the book has hot as hell sex scenes, love, heart break, humor, violence, bad ass men and tough women, angst. It has it all.
Looking forward to the next book in this series.

Sharing Freedom (Ops Warriors MC, #1)

Really enjoyed this book, Sharing Freedom is book 1 in the Ops Warrior MC Series.

Its a great read, loved Freedom, Easy and Poke.

Freedom life has been turned upside down she is on the run and broke. Looking for a job she goes into a strip club run by the local Motorcycle Club hoping she can earn some money to keep herself safe. Here she meets quite a few interesting characters and I can't wait to read more stories that surround this Motorcycle Club. I hope Freedom's new friend Shades get a story, every girl needs a friend like her.

Another great beginning to a series that I absolutely will continue to read.

Harley McRide's writing is terrific and I will try to keep track of any new books she writes.

This was a story/series has the flavor of other m/f/m menage tolerated towns in a similar style as Sophie Oak's
"Nights In Bliss", "Texas Sirens", Heather Rainier's "Divine Creek Ranch" series (western themed) or Tara Rose's "Racy Nights", or Cara Covington's "Lusty Texas" series. This series though has to do with bikers and MC clubs who embrace menage.

Overall I see a lot of promise in this series though there were significant editorial and content issues that detracted from my enjoyment of this installment. Not to the point that I won't continue to read future installments though. The author has found a nitch to expand on bikers and menage that I'm hoping I can get on board with.

I need brain bleach. This sucked because the heroine got tortured as the Zeroes failed to protect her. In this book, the Zeroes are TSTL. I wish she got herself a new man coz even though she had 2, they were so useless.

I tried to like this book, I really did. The story idea intrigued me, but I couldn't deal with the grammar issues. I made it to 20% but had to quit before I hurt myself with all the eye rolling I was doing. What 1% biker uses full and correct English grammar? for example "we will look into it" not "we'll look into it". And the really, really, really long sentences without any comma's was distracting. I couldn't take anymore unfortunately

Sometimes when I’m done reading a biker book, I just want to jump up and down and yell “Yippee! I found a good biker series!” Don’t judge me, a lot of biker books suck. Fortunately this is not one of them and even more fortunate was that the only one home with me when I started yelling was my puppies. It’s not a perfect book by far but it is definitely worth a read. It had a few too many typos, some phrases that could definitely use a rewrite because they didn’t make sense the first go around – or the second, and it had some plot holes, but I loved the characters and I loved the storyline. This story has a dedicated menage in it so if that’s not your thing, be warned.

Freedom Stands not only got stuck with a crappy name, she had a really bad Dad who got himself into trouble and decided to sell his adult daughter to pay off some of his debts. She overheard the conversation and ran. She finally ended up as a really bad stripper at the Op Warrior MC’s strip club. There she comes to the attention of Poke and Easy, the Sgt. of Arms of the MC. They were definitely interested but they really didn’t think she would be a good fit for the MC, especially considering she was an accountant who came from a rich family. I loved Freedom. She was way out of her element in a really bad situation, but she tried to make the best of it. She didn’t really show a lot of backbone at first, but I didn’t find that very surprising considering her circumstances. Once she got her bearings, she was just as tough as she needed to be.

“I don’t get you people!’ Freedom finally lost it, stood, and started yelling. “First you are all nice to me, then you are pricks, what the hell is your damn problem? Were you not breast fed or something? Well let me tell you something. I will not be your whore, or your club rat. Fuck that, I am worth more than that. If you want to fuck me, you have to be nice to me you stupid bastards.”

Poke and Easy were the perfect example of Alpha badass bikers with really bad attitudes. There is no doubt they both had a huge helping of asshole in them, but they also had some sweet underneath, along with a heavy sprinkling of dirty talking hotness. They knew she was in trouble, and when they could have cut her loose and sent her on her way, they decided to help. They did make some really boneheaded decisions that led to terrible things happening to Freedom that were hard for me to read. Needless to say, they paid dearly for it.

It wasn’t just Freedom, Poke, and Easy that I fell in love with. I fell in love with the entire MC Family. They didn’t just stay in the background either but were important parts of the story. Shady was my favorite and I can’t wait until she gets her own book. There were lots of funny moments to break up some of the drama which I always appreciate. I hate it when a book makes you feel like there is no hope. I need my little rays of light and laughter to get me through all the tears, blood, and gore and this book delivered. When Harley McRide (what a pen name) gets a good editor, she is going to crank out some 5 star reads. I’ve already one clicked another one of her books.

This book packed a punch! I don't know how I stumbled on this book, but I'm glad I did! It had everything: a gritty motorcycle club, great main and secondary characters, relationship drama, MC action & drama, hot sex and a threesome relationship. I don't know where to begin, it just rocked!

The story of Freedom (accountant/stripper, innocent), Easy (Ops Warriors Sargent at Arms, not a big talker) and Poke (Ops Warriors Sargent at Arms, jokester). Due to a messed up family situation, Freedom fled from home and landed in a strip club, owned and operated by the Ops Warriors MC. Out of money, she begged for a job as a stripper. It is here where she meets and becomes attracted to Easy and Poke, the 'we only do threesomes' biker pair. From this point on, it is a wild and exciting ride.

Easy and Poke were so sexy, caring and a bit mysterious, which just added to the story. Things were so well written, that you really had no idea what they were thinking by their actions towards Freedom. I liked that they proceeded with caution as they dealt with Freedom. Freedom was such a cool character. She was smart, feisty and strong all at the same time.

The other secondary characters were also interesting. Creed, Fork, and Shady (loved Shady), etc. They each played a major role in the book so their characters were well developed.

The drama...OMG!! There is a scene that takes place and it is scary. The writing was so vivid, it was as though I was right there feeling it too! And the post-drama aftermath, was so believable. I liked that there was no instant forgiveness.

Finally, the heat in this book was off the charts! If you are not OK with threesomes, this book is not for you. If you are not OK with sharing, this book is not for you. If you are not OK with others watching the sex, this book is not for you. Enough said...it's HAWT!!

I had no idea I would enjoy this book as much as I did. The MC was gritty and they were not to be f**ked with. I liked that this was not downplayed too. Wow...I loved it!

Why Not 5 Stars?

Edit. I typically gloss over editing mistakes. However, there were so many that I noticed them and they became distracting.

Wish List: I wanted to see how the threesome relationship worked outside of the bedroom between a woman and two very dominant bikers. Don't get me wrong, I loved this story, I just wanted to see the relationship dynamic between them. Perhaps I will get this wish in the next book. Keeping my fingers crossed!

I'm one of those people who doesn't mind a threesome in a story especially when it's a genuine loving threesome and not a cheating situation.
This book had it all...humor, scorching hot romance, extreme violence and an interesting collection of relationships...M/F/M and F/F as friends who are as close as sisters. This MC was such a close knit family, that they took in a woman running from two other clubs who wanted her as payment, grew to love her and swore to protect her as their own.

A fair amount of sex, violence against women, rape and torture...not for the weak hearted....but pretty good if you like your stories rough and wild.

Such a wonderful book. So different from any MC book I have read and as a reader it is usually hard to find this. The story had me laughing one minute and then wanting to cry for the heroine the next. The story offers a different take on the way the ladies are portrayed many are just as tough as the men and in their own right somewhat like the female version of their MC club. You had mystery and intrigue, hot steamy sex, naughty language, betrayal. What more can you ask for. Looking forward to book 2

Dislike this book, from beginning to end. While the basic storyline worked, all the characters were intensely unlikeable. By about 25% in, I was hoping the h came to her senses, saw the assholes for who they were, ( including all secondary mc members and women) and got the hell out of Dodge! I thought I was reading a romance but there was nothing romantic or in any was loving between these characters. Every other moment someone was calling h names, including her 'friends'. This only set up a bad taste, for me.

I love this book. I love all the characters. The main characters are well developed, you get to know them, their past. There is a lot of pain and heartbreak in this story so if you are looking for a sweet love story this is not a book for you. It is full of bad ass guys and hot hot sex. Well done Harley McRide. Cant wait for book two.

DNF. Lots of sex, which is what I expected, but it seemed like the author tried to use every word for body parts she had ever heard. The heroine was a virgin, but when they shared her the first time she had sex, that did it. I love ménages, but that was too much to take. The story lacked editing as there were frequent use of extra words in sentences.

This book was given to me in a pick-it challenge. This was definitely outside of my comfort zone of what I usually like to read. This is a really dark read. It has to deal with a lot of dark things like abuse, kidnapping and a really horrible parent. I was not used to the darkness in the book but it turned out okay. The book had a good story but not a huge fan of dark reads.

Now the low down, mean spirited, insecure heroes in this remind me of Jamie Begleys bad boys. I say insecure because they don't want to own their feelings. Because feelings would mean they are human and they can't have anyone think that. So they fight their actual feelings for the heroine behind being mean and trying to treat her like she means nothing to them but it backfires.

I wish she held out longer. I wish they danced for her in front of everyone that would have been poetic justice. As it was she had to be the stronger one as badass heroines are.

The story of how bad it got for her after her mother passes away is the OTT one. A mother forever fixing the fathers habits rather than having him fix himself. The way her dad turned on her shows how weak he was. Her having to do what she did to get herself out from under her dads mess added pacing and interest in this plot. I enjoyed her growing up. I liked the premise of the world of this MC and look forward to reading the next one.🙃

Really enjoyed Freedom's story. Loved getting to know the characters of a new MC. Look forward to reading more! My only real issue with this book was that the author really needs a good proofreader! But the mistakes were not bad enough that I won't read more.

I've had this book on my TBR list for a while and finally decided to give it a go despite all the mixed reviews. I, myself, have mixed feelings about it.

I did enjoy the whole two bikers and one old lady concept. I thought that was unique and different as usually in MC books, bikers are so possessive of their women they can't stand the thought of other men even thinking of them, so when I came upon the synopsis of this book, I thought it rather interesting and it was, to a point.

Easy and Poke, while your typical manwhore bikers, were extremely honest in their approach to Freedom but in a disgustingly unattractive way. I understand you want to keep what amounts to your 'mancard' but really telling this girl that you will be fucking her for an extended amount of time until you tire of her and then she can go on to fuck whoever else she wants because no bitch is going to 'tie your dick down' is just so crude and crass, which is in total opposite to the very appropriate way these bikers use the English language, because their grammer is very good. They are very well spoken..lol.

Freedom, on the other hand, I wanted to smack on various occasions. It's like at times I was proud of the way she stood up for herself and I wanted to high five her but then she would totally regress and let everyone, Easy, Poke, Shady, Creed, etc..call her all kinds of derogatory names and she would stand there and just take it. Meanwhile she had no problems standing up to her own father and defend herself against his verbal attacks, so her attitude and behavior was so contradictory.

I really dislike female leads like Freedom. She's the poor twenty something virgin that gets hung up on the bad ass biker, or in this case bikers, that are going around fucking anything with a pussy but are ignoring the hell out of her, yet she can't bring herself to touch another man? Waiting to give it up to these two clowns? Are you fucking kidding me with this shit? They obviously have very little regard for you so keep it pushing sister and get your groove on with someone else because you know what, sometimes sex is just sex! It doesn't have to be about profound shit all the fucking time and enjoying sex doesn't make you neither a slut nor a whore....it just makes you human!

Overall some of this read was eh okay, some of it was stupid as shit, some other parts were sexy as hell so hence my mixed feelings about it. If Freedom wasn't such a dumb ass I would have thoroughly enjoyed this book but she ruined it for me...sighs...I hate stupid ass virgins...anyway I'll try the next book. Hopefully it's leading lady is stronger than this twit was!

I liked this story and loved the characters. Freedom is a strong female lead character who showed her soft side but she was built with steel in her blood. Her father tries to trade her for the debts he has racked up borrowing money, she discovers this and ends up at Op Warriors strip club looking for a job. Creed Pres of Warriors hires her. It's takes alittle while for Freedom to learn the ways of Bitches and Warriors but she felt like she belonged. With her father's enemies breathing down the clubs neck, they decide to send her away and make her think she isn't coming back. While with good intentions it blows up in the Warriors face and Freedom pays the price.
Easy and Poke are the male leads, who fall for Freedom. There are some twist in this their story and Warriors are sneaky. Easy and Poke wanted Freedom not sure why they kept pushing her away, ignoring her and kicking her out with no explanation. I hated when they threw her out even if they were trying to protect her.
I wanted to hear more from Poke and Easy's side of the situation. By last 5 or so chapters I think we got most of Freedom's POV but at times it was hard to know who was talking.

Overall I enjoyed this story but I wanted more out of this trio. Freedom took no crap from her alpha men, she broke noses and stole their hearts. I can't wait to read the next story in this series, the characters are well written. McRide defintely pulls you in to the story. Sharing Freedom has it all beauty, dirty talking, raw truths, laugh out loud moments and dark scenes that will make you cry.
So if you like reading about MFM relationships, hot sexy alpha bikers and strong female leads than give Sharing Harmony a try. If you have never read a story with MFM relationship I suggest giving it a try and can guarantee you will be hooked. Happy Reading

Absofriggenlutely loved this book....heck it made me angry, sad, happy, sad again & then I just turned positively volatile needing to castrate me some men LOL!! albeit hot men indeed!! stupid morons dont know when to stop when it comes to control of the women smh LOL..

Ya`ll gotta read this book..the heroine started out sorta dingy & clueless THATS what ya think anyways...yes shes innocent but that dont last long....she learns, she grows a pair of her brass balls & then stands firmly on her own two feet , squares off to the men in her world (her MC family) & shows them she will NOT be treated like a 2 yr old..Gotta love it :)

The head bitch "Shady" become very close....which causes these boys to pause since Shady , she dont like any female..shes one tough broad & she takes no BS...ya deal with it or suffer....she takes a liking to Freedom & they become BFF`s ..you will love shady shes awesome...

The ending i loved it...shows we will see LOADS more..yeah their is a cliff hanger but its kinda like comic relief at least it was to me...I loved creed (MC president) its him & this other woman standing off in the end...ya know nothing about what its about, but its intriguing enough to make ya wanna read the next book....I wanna see what happens in my honest opinion the author did a fantastic job of leading us down a path of many MANY possibilities..

But beware this book really is violent...it deals with subject matter thats disturbing & will make you cringe & cry...but its a part of the story...If ya watch tv ya see crap way worse...just dont read this if ya cant handle it...deals with torture, rape, abuse, drug abuse & LOTS of sex..:D

This was a new to me author, so for the first few chapters I had to get used to her writing style. But after that, I really enjoyed this book.
It has been awhile since I read a good MC book, I really liked the story behind this one. I liked the M/F/M thing that was going on. You don't often see this kind of relationship with MC books. After you read the book you will understand what I mean by that.
This book was about a woman who's father gives her to an MC club to pay off his debt to them. Once she knows that this is her fathers plan, she runs. In order to look after herself, she takes on a job as a stripper. The strip club that she works at is owned by another MC club...the members of this club are taken by her and they vow to protect her. Two of the Members of this MC club end up falling in love with her. She is sweet and innocent, but when something goes wrong and she ends up getting hurt, it changes her.
This book could be read as a standalone but what happens at the end leaves you wanting the next book. I am one clicking it now and can't wait to see what's in store for the Club and it's members!
