We are very family oriented. You can most likely catch me at a hockey game or chilling with family around the grill with a cold beer.
Don't get me wrong I love a good girls weekend or better yet a weekend alone with my hunky husband.

#TRUSTINGTHEM
So, as you all know, I'm a huge fan of @ashleykayauthor so when I had the opportunity to ARC read Trusting Them, I couldn't pass.
This is the 4th of the series and I have loved the journey.
Trusting them is a MMF trope which is packed with topics such as abuse, addiction, love and loss.
I love the growth you see in Veronica and the fierce protection Graham and Von provide her. At first, you can see the shell of a woman who suffers poor self esteem and come the end, she kicks ass!!!
This book hit my emotions harder than the other 3. I loved it so much, I didn't want it to end.
Ashley never disappoints with her stories. They are filled with drama, suspense, emotions and romance....oh and SMUT!
If you haven't read the #hadleyfalls series yet, you must!

I don't typically read a lot of contemporary romance but I decided to branch out a little more and give some different authors a try. I am so glad to have read @ashleykayauthor! This is book 4 in her Hadley Falls series, and at Ashley's recommendation I did read Trusting Us first, which is book 3. While they are both technically standalone books, reading book 3 did fill in a few gaps with two of our main characters, Graham and Veronica. The effects of things they were dealing with as background characters in book 3, are the main themes of book 4. More on that in a minute!
I love a good mmf romance, dark or not, and this is written really well and feels very genuine, not to mention super sexy! Discussions surrounding Graham's addictions and subsequent recovery are handled sensitively and realistically. The themes of loss again feel very genuine and you can't help but feel your heart breaking at all the hurdles our characters have to face. All three main characters, Graham, Von, and Veronica, are very relatable and loveable which I feel like is hard to do when you have more than 2 mains. I'm also really glad we got a little high stakes action in the third act because it gives us some of my favorite vibes (touch her and ☠!).
The only other thing I have to add, and I said something similar about the 3rd book, is that there are so many extra characters in these books. So many that I still am not sure who a third of them are. Presumably they were introduced in other books but it would have been nice to get a quick reminder about who they are and how they relate to our main characters. This doesn't detract from the story at all, just more afterthoughts from myself!

If you love a good cry and an amazing MMF story, Trusting Them is the perfect book! Thanks to Kindle, I came across the Hadley Falls series by Ashley Kay in 2023. I've watched each character blossom. I fell in love with all of them. Graham's growth from the other books to now is *chef's kiss* perfect. Von and Victoria's growth during Trusting Them was just as satisfying. Watching all three of them grow separately and as partners was absolutely amazing. I cried, I laughed, I loved. The perfect combination for a phenomenal book!

Happy Release day to Ashley for the fourth and final book in the Hadley Falls series, Trusting Them.
Just a quick PSA before we begin - while each story focuses on a different set of main characters, they are interconnected and those characters make regular appearances in all the books. In addition, there is a lot of history / backstory to Graham in particular and Veronica which happens mainly in book 3 so I would recommend that you start at the beginning.
This was my favourite out of the whole series. Seeing Graham get his HEA with both Von and Veronica was just a joy. In fact, seeing all the characters growth over the course of the book not just as individuals but as partners as well was incredibly satisfying.
Ashley handled the themes that were raised with sensitivity and grace they deserved. They felt authentic to the storyline and characters involved.
Overall, I loved the conclusion to this series - thank you Ashley for having me along for the ride!

The last book in Ashley Kay's Hadley Falls series. Reading book 3, Trusting Us, is a good start before diving into the final book as it provides Graham and Veronica's backstory.
All mc's had individual growth as well as together in their relationship. A good emotional ending - laughter, tears and love - read to the series.

I enjoyed reading this book. Once I started reading Trusting Them I didn't want to put it down. The storyline grabbed my attention from the start. The characters are well developed and kept me hooked as I had to find out what was going to happen next. Great read!.

So hot!! Entertaining read from the first page to the last. Loved the character interactions. Hot and steamy scenes. Caring and commitment with some entertaining lol moments.
