Short and charming – an ideal relaxing feel-good less than an hour read.

Harper runs a bakery – “Harper's Sweet Treats”. Jake, her ex-boyfriend dumped her 3 years back during the ‘Pumpkin Ball’ which is around the corner. She has moved on – focusing on her bakery and trying to avoid crowds. Ben Cooper steps into her bakery and topples a few things leaving the place messy. But as they get talking Harper’s irritation goes away. She learns that he runs “Cooper's Pumpkin Patch” just outside town. He is struggling and hoping that the upcoming Pumpkin festival sales would help him save his farm. Harper offers to help him. As she goes over, she finds the place in the current shape will just not jell with visitors and realizes that Ben really needs help.

Harper and Ben are both very loveable characters. Though the story is very predictable, it is very sweet. I also liked the ideas Harper puts into play to improve Ben’s situation.

Recommended – charming and mood-elevating!
