Book Review: Guided Numerology Workbook by Kelli Miller

Rating: 4 Stars

I recently had the pleasure of diving into Guided Numerology Workbook by Kelli Miller, and it was quite the enlightening experience! As someone who has always been intrigued by numerology but didn’t know where to begin, this workbook was exactly what I needed to unlock the wisdom hidden in numbers.

At its core, this workbook serves as a comprehensive guide to understanding numerology—an ancient practice that reveals insights about our personalities and destinies through specific numbers derived from our names and birth dates. Kelli Miller does a fantastic job of breaking down complex concepts into digestible chunks. The workbook not only helps you calculate your unique numerology chart but also teaches you how to interpret it. I found myself particularly drawn to learning about my Life Path Number, Expression Number, and Inner Soul Number, discovering new layers to my personality that I hadn't considered before.

One of the standout features of the workbook is how it combines numerology with other esoteric practices, such as astrology and tarot. This multifaceted approach really enriched my understanding and added depth to my self-reflection. Plus, the engaging exercises and reflective questions provided a hands-on experience that made learning fun. I loved how I could fill in the spaces with my thoughts and interpretations—this aspect made it feel like a personal journey rather than just a workbook.

Visually, the Guided Numerology Workbook is a delight. The cover is beautifully designed, and the layout is clear and inviting. It’s packed with useful information yet offers plenty of space for personal notes, making it perfect for anyone looking to engage with the material deeply. I can easily see this book being a thoughtful gift for anyone interested in self-discovery or numerology.

It’s suitable for beginners and seasoned numerologists alike, offering valuable insights regardless of your experience level. However, I think some readers might find they want even more depth in certain areas. But overall, Kelli Miller has crafted a wonderful resource that encourages us all to explore our unique potential through the fascinating lens of numbers. Definitely worth checking out!

I had the pleasure of receiving a copy of Guided Numerology Workbook through NetGalley, and as someone with a bit of experience in numerology, I was excited to dive in. Upon flipping through various sections, I quickly realized just how much knowledge is packed into this one book. It offers a comprehensive and insightful guide to numerology, covering a wide range of topics that will appeal to both beginners and those with more advanced knowledge.

The workbook format is particularly helpful for anyone looking to deepen their understanding of numerology. However, I found it challenging to complete some of the activities on my eReader. The nature of the workbook requires writing and space to engage with the exercises, which made using an electronic version a bit cumbersome. If you learn best through hands-on activities, I would strongly recommend purchasing a physical copy.

This book is an excellent resource for anyone interested in numerology. It smoothly guides you through different aspects, breaking down complex concepts into digestible pieces. However, if you plan to work through it thoroughly, a Kindle version may not be the best choice as it lacks the tactile element needed to get the full benefit of the exercises.

Overall, I highly recommend the Guided Numerology Workbook to those wanting a well-rounded and thorough numerology guide. It's one of those books that would definitely be more enjoyable in a physical format.

I’ve always been interested in numerology. When I was a child, I even convinced my parents to add a letter to our house number after I saw a woman on TV saying it wasn't a good number for a family. I was terrified with that information and started learning more about this subject since then, LOL. Whenever I come across a video or article about numerology, I can't help but pay close attention. However, I'm not an expert. I can't do calculations from memory and often refer to books for meanings.

I really enjoyed this guide. It's an excellent resource for beginners, with each step clearly laid out. It might feel a bit repetitive at times, but that's helpful for those new to the subject. You'll be able to figure out your personal numbers on your own. I also appreciated how the author emphasized the importance of being respectful when calculating for others.

I did wish for more details on repeated patterns and missing numbers in our charts. I get that it might be overwhelming for beginners, but I find that part a bit tricky to analyze by myself. Regardless, I had a blast reading through it, and I definitely see parts of myself reflected in my numbers.

Thanks to Zeitgeist for the ARC!

Thoughts: This is an excellent book to begin with for the study of numerology. There is a lot of detailed information on each number and how they can apply to our daily lives. She even included a small section on how each number applies to the tarot, astrology, and gemstones. I would have liked more on this, but that was such a minor detail that it didn’t make a difference.

The author includes sections on how you can figure out your core numbers and what they mean. There are areas for you to enter your information and how to calculate the results and what they mean. Each section is detailed, easy to understand and follow, and written so that it all makes sense.

Highly recommended.

Disclosure of Material: I received a final and/or advanced reader copy of this book with the hope that I will leave my unbiased opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that… My Opinions. I am posting this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255: “Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising” Thanks to Zeitgeist @Penguin Randomhouse for providing this book.

The Guided Numerology Workbook by Kelli Miller is such a fun primer on a very interesting topic. More interesting than I initially expected. I wasn't sure there was enough information on numerology to be a full book, but I was proven very wrong. There is so much detail here not only on each number and how it shows up in daily life, but also what it means for tarot and astrology. Plus there's a huge section on figuring out your own numbers like your life path and birth date numbers, with workbooks space for reflection on what those numbers and associated characteristics mean for your life. I had no idea I had so many different core numbers associated with things like the day I was born or my full name, it was so interesting to see how these all interacted. I particularly loved the cycles information, where you can calculate your unique number for the month or year. It's given me great guidance on the upcoming year and how to make progress on my goals! I just wish there was more information in the final section on how to do readings and reading the numbers for other people.

Thanks for the free book, @penguinrandomhouse & @zeitgeistpublishing .

This book is a beginners guide and workbook for numerology. I do love the art and layout used in the book. There is a glossary of terms, and index, as well as external resources. I was hoping for a bit more about the history of it in a beginners book. But overall this is a lot like tarot and astrology. Very flaky information overall and more of a get a vague reading and it might remind you about something going on in your life. The only real benefit I see in this book is that it does have some opened ended questions for you to write answers, that might help people think more about their life and general self introspection. It is something interesting to learn about and understand the people who truly believe this stuff. But still not something to take seriously that it will fix and help your life.

I enjoyed reading the Guided Numerology Workbook by Kelli Miller. I have read two other books in this series, and I can say I would recommend them to anyone interested in learning these metaphysical topics.

This book is perfect for someone just starting out with numerology. The chapters progress at the right pace, teaching steps along the way and lessons to reinforce what is learned. The author is extremely knowledgeable about numerology and does a great job teaching it.

I gifted the Guided Astrology Workbook last month, and I would definitely consider gifting this numerology book as well.

Thank you to NetGalley for this eARC in exchange for my review.

This book was a great introduction to numerology. It covered the basic formulas and meanings for the placements.
My favorite part was the explanation of each number and how they also included the associated zodiac signs, tarot card and crystals to work with. That was something I’ve never read before with a numerology book.
I did find that the subsequent explanations were a bit repetitive and some of the power number formulas were very similar or literally the same calculations. Which is why I gave it a lower rating. If you want to learn about the basics I would recommend this book, but if you have knowledge on the topic already this might not be the one for you.

Did all the activities and nothing seemed to align with who I am as a person and didn’t match my spouse either. Maybe I lack understanding of the activities. Pretty sure I did everything correctly. I primarily got the book to learn the meaning of the individual numbers and their links to astrology and tarot which it did accomplish. Maybe numerology just isn’t my cup of tea. If it is yours, give it a shot.

This is a very interesting book. There’s a lot to learn about yourself and the future.
The illustrations are cool. The instructions and examples are easy to understand. It’s very convenient that this is a workbook and you can write and calculate all in one place.
There are a lot more calculations than the standard numerological ones, which was really nice and interesting.

What a fun book. And packed full of knowledgeable information about numerology. I was already familiar with figuring out my Life Path number (11), but this has so much more and so many helpful descriptions about how to calculate different numbers and what those numbers mean as well as how your number fits into that calculation.

Thanks for the gifted book @penguinrandomhouse
