I have to admit it: I was a bit skeptical about reading a biography of a British band written by Italians. But the authors genuinely surprised me — in the best way — with the sheer amount of detail they managed to gather and recount so meticulously. They dig into behind‑the‑scenes stories, interviews, and Gallagher‑style drunken escapades that weren’t always widely known. All these episodes, tracing the entire history of this otherworldly band, only deepened my passion for the two brothers (as if that were even possible). And it’s true: in the end, everyone comes back — whether for money or not, I’ll pretend I can’t imagine. A year after the dream of hearing them live again finally came true, I want to say it clearly: Oasis were *the* band that defined the 1990s in Europe. They carried the legacy of the Beatles and made it their own, often with unmistakable references. If you’re not obsessed like I am, reading about dozens of dates, concerts, cities, countries, fights, wives, and divorces might feel overwhelming. But if you already know the dynamics between the two brothers and their whole saga, this book offers details you won’t easily find elsewhere. Not to mention that the band was born and grew up in a time when the Internet barely existed — and yet, 32 years later, their audience has somehow become younger. Meanwhile, those who never forgot them are still here, worshipping them. Highly recommended.
