Trash. Worst book of the series.
With the first two books, both parties we know through inference are sexually active with other people after meeting each other. Yet as soon as they are emotionally involved that stops.
Winnie has been celibate for a year - the last time being with the father of her six year old kid Lexi. Winnie and Wes have known each other 6 months and are very attracted to each other. Yet it's revealed in plain sentences he's still sexing it up, and as his feelings are growing - now cannot respond to other women sexually. Luckily, the woman is someone he's acquainted himself with before, so she knows that's not the usual deal.
Moving on, I suppose I tried to overlook that.
But I found Winnie's lack of self respect difficult to accept.
Wes has explicitly stated he would never date a "mother". It's his least favourite part about Winnie, and quite literally out of sight out of mind. Winnie knows his feelings on this, and for me, her disposition should have been to never go near him with that attitude. It's not a personal statement to her but she should have taken that way and steered clear.
In spite of that, I can understand their gravitation towards each other and the first time they lose their inhibitions and have sex.
To summarise... she pursues him, seducing him initially. Then she withdraws her pushing - just meekly accepting what he chose to give her. No resistance, but no pursuing. Sometimes that would be accepting him titling their relationship girlfriend and boyfriend in front of their friends and family. Or accepting that he invite himself over to her house and family dinners. Or making Lexi comfortable with him and taking her to football.
But, in a completely unforgivable way, he suddenly admits to Winnie "he can't do this" and, breaks up with her. They have 3 month separation Jan-March. He didn't even fight for her. He half assed everything, his feelings, his actions. That's where I drew the line. Apparently he thought he wasn't worthy, but I call bull. He let the opinion of a silly outsider sway him, and that does not signal conviction in a relationship if you can be so easily scared. But most of all, for me the fatal error was that he just disappeared on her child Lexi who he had formed a fully formed relationship of almost a mock father. The author didn't address this. In my eyes he abandoned an autistic child, and even if a relationship with her mother might have been too much - for two months he disappeared for Lexi after he became important to her. Emotionally, he was also in love with Winnie, but just fucked whomever in those three months. That's not a fucking mistake, its sacrilege.
He never even suffered through that moment where he thought he truly lost her. He always thought he could win her back. That wasn't attractive to me. His confidence should have shattered.
So Wes, burn in hell. And Winnie, get a backbone and find your goddamn pride. Can't believe you took him back.

Finally Wes & Winnie.
We already saw some of them in the last novella and now here they are with their own book!
AND I LOVED IT!!!
Those two are so perfect for each other. Mega-sparkage whenever they're in the same room.
Which is pretty often, because Winnie is the new team physician for the Maverick's - the football team Wes owns.
But we also already saw in the last book that there's all this constant arguing and fighting. They can't be in one room without starting to fight about a player and his medical condition. And fighting in their case means foreplay!!!
Now it's finally time to turn that verbal foreplay into something real!!!
But Winnie is not in the market for a hot & fast affair with her boss. She's a single mom and has more than her own interests to consider... And Wes is SO not going to have an affair with a MOM - kids are disgusting...sticky, jam-covered fingers and constantly crying and smelling bad. ☺ What he doesn't yet know is that Lexie is an amazingly smart and special child he'll fall head over heels for too!
Of course it doesn't take Wes & Winnie long to end up in the bedroom.
But just once, right?
HA!
They can't keep their hands off each other!
But they want to so bad, because they think they're not right for the other!
But we know they are, it just takes them a while to get it! ☺
Just adorable! Wes wants to be this big, bad, stoic, unemotional billionaire, whom all of his employees fear. But whenever he's at work and Winnie is near, he feels himself smiling. His hard shell is cracking all over the place and all because of a girl or rather two girls! The way Wes is with Lex is so unbelievably cute!
This was just the most hilarious & adorable romance!
• Wes Lancaster looked at me like I was everything. Not everything he'd been looking for or known he wanted, but like I was everything. Happiness and pain, love and hate, all the words he'd ever spoken and all the ones he never would. •
Of course it's not all insta-happily-ever-after for our little family of three.
We have some exciting moments, some moving and sad and frustrating ones too. I might have shed some tears even! ☺
And lots of laughter - especially lots of soon-to-be-mom-Cassie-laughs!!!!
This is such an amazing series.
There's really not much more I can write.
Just that you should definitely go and buy those books. Start with the first one and I promise you that you'll read them all in one go!
Kline, Thatch and Wes are just amazing!
And their girls are just as hilarious!
I SO want Hollywood to come and make a TV show out of this series!!
I promise you we'll all watch it - if only for the man-candy! ☺

These Bad Boys sure are funny...
I was thoroughly entertained listening to Scoring the Billionaire. Each instalment of this series has left me satisfied with a big goofy smile on my face. The characters were lovable, the storyline was interesting and the sexy times were pretty damn HOT!!
She's a hard-working, single mum who's wary of love but wouldn't mind a bit of fun.
He's all about the fun and definitely not looking for love.
With this kind of attraction, it didn't matter if you were wary or not looking, love was going to suck you in and not let go.
Loved Winnie's daughter Lexi and especially enjoyed Wes's acceptance of her needs.
Winnie's family is awesome!!
Wes has some very good friends who I've grown to love throughout this series. They make me laugh with their antics.
Sad this series has ended but I have my fingers crossed that we might see Winnie's brothers again in their own series. They don't have their own series yet, do they??? I guess I need to do some research...

5.0 "WES FOR WIN" STARS!!!
For the life of all those holy, this book is DOWNRIGHT HILARIOUS, CRAZILY GOOD, DELICIOUS, HOT AND SEXY TO THE ZENITH!!!
ONE OF THE BEST ROMCOM EVER!!!
Oh.em.gee!!! I love you Max Monroe because your duet is just so perfect you made a beautiful story out of Wes and Winnie!!! No doubt and hesitations I inhaled the book like it's my next breath. First few pages and my reader is burning!!! The scenes were so fucking hot in a delicious and torturous manner my eyes were bulging I keep on fanning and I just had a female version of blue balls. (TMI, I know.)
But could you blame me when all I can think of is that Wes on this fucking cover of the book?? Wes Lancaster, the "Third Billionaire Bad Boy". Man how I wish somebody could pull off that blue lines and maybe dropped off the towel?? And please I said few pages right? So could you still blame me when that scorching scene started right off at that few fucking pages I was talking! And those exchange of text messages that had me swooning all over??? Yes, the man we used to know as stoic, unemotional, unswayable, unflappable, had-to-rile, and married to his work finally met his match!!! And not just to one woman but two. One fucking strong willed physician and to a special and brilliant 6 year old.
Talk about ovary explosion!!! Mine danced, leaped with glee and just got exploded I am still picking up the pieces.
I wont definitely go into details as this book need to be read and experienced fully but what I'll tell you is that how I felt and my thoughts about the book.
First is the fact that this duet is getting better and better the book was not just written flawlessly but so damn good you can feel all emotions. Everything that was written is so natural and normal it's just real. I am fanning now, then swooning, then laughing a full damn laugh, back to fanning and swooning but I felt gutted too and I feel like my tummies got butterflies dancing and twirling all over. In their true fashion, Max Monroe just didn't give us a story to be entertained but to feel as well. I just didn't get to laugh but I feel loved. They gave us Kline and Thatch and now Wes and his story with Winnie is just something that made a greater part of me. They made an impact and that's thanks to their fabulous writing. If I am very vocal about my love for Thatch, man, I am staking my claim to WES! HE.IS.MINE! Their love story amidst push and pull and heartbreak consumed every part of me. I love it to pieces and I don't mind reading it again and again. This is one of those stories you'll not get bored reading several times. Ahh.. I can't wait for you to meet Wes and Winnie and of course the whole gang and don't forget, sweet Lexi too. She stole my heart with this story and her relationship with Wes is the one you also need to read and experience. It was dreamy and swoony and because of that you'll definitely understand my obsession with Wes now.
If you're a fan of sweet, hilarious and steamy romance books? Look no more because this series is just PERFECTfor you. I highly recommend it!

I really liked how strong the connection between Wes and Winnie was and how it couldn't be stopped. Even though they both had many reasons to stay away from each other, the chemistry between them was just too strong to let that happen. This was a great ending to this series, though I hope to see more of these characters in the future.

5 Whistling Stars!!!
This series is so much fun!! I just want MORE!!! Max Monroe could just continue on with Winnie’s brothers. I am absolutely going to read the St. Luke Docuseries too, since Winnie’s doctor friends are in that group!!
Thatcher & Kline have already found their true loves and Wes is determined that he is not getting sucked into that. Owning the popular restaurant BAD and the pro football team, New York Mavericks, Wes is very busy and certainly not looking for a relationship but his new team physician has caught his eye.
Winnie Winslow is the new sexy, stiletto wearing Team Physician. She is one of five children and the only girl in the bunch. She is not only beautiful but strong and independent. She is raising her young daughter as a single parent with help from all her brothers. She isn’t looking for a man since she really doesn’t trust them but maybe a little side action wouldn’t hurt!
I really loved this story and Winnie’s daughter Lexi was great. It touched on some delicate topics and I loved the way it was handled by Wes & everyone. Max Monroe has such a great sense of humor and has fast become one of my favorite authors!!!

This was a disappointing follow up to the previous two books. Maybe my expectations were too high.

This is the story I was looking forward to the most and this is the story which left me the most disappointed. *sigh* Maybe my expectations were high. I don't know.
The "pregame show" with Wes and Winnie from the other books had me grinning like an idiot. I liked their banter and their assumed dislike of each other.
In this book, things happened too quickly in my opinion. I wanted Winnie to put up more of a fight and I wanted Wes to have to fight for her. I guess he kinda did toward the end.
Don't get me wrong.....this is still a great series! Kline and Thatch! They are just great! And a special, special shout out to Lexi (Winnie's daughter), who was an extraordinary little girl with an amazing mind! Loved her with Wes!

After the first two couples got together in the earlier books of this series, I was so excited for Wes and Winnie to finally get together in this book. This series is so addicting and it has me not so patiently waiting for the next book every time I finish one. Even though there is only a novella left in this series,l I am not sad because there is going to be a spin off series! I can’t get enough of Max Monroe’s books!
Winnie and Wes have had sexual tension between them for months and we finally get to see the result of that in Scoring the Billionaire. I loved this book. Wes really grows as a person and becomes so much more than just some player. He becomes a great man - not just for Winnie, but for her daughter Lexi, too.
Winnie was such a great character. A single mom and doctor, she definitely needed Wes in her life to have someone to lean on for once. All I wanted her to do was let Wes into her heart, and even though they both acted like commitment was a disease at some points, they eventually got their feelings out there and lived happily ever after.

Ieri sera ho finito "come accalappiare un milionario".
Non so come sia il titolo in inglese, ma ve lo dico chiaramente: è un titolo un po' clickbait. O almeno tutte le caratteristiche che contraddistinguono i libri che hanno nel titolo la parola "milionario" non ci sono.
Il libro è davvero bello. Mi è piaciuto molto il modo in cui inizia.
Potrebbe essere paragonato a un Hate to love, ma in realtà la vicenda inizia quando la tensione sessuale è talmente tanta che i due ci mettono davvero poco a "concretizzare". Non è un male secondo me, proprio perché il libro è impostato in questo modo. (Winnie e Wes inoltre erano personaggi secondari nei libri precedenti della serie, avranno già esplorato il loro "odio" in altre pagine.)
Winnie è una donna forte, con una figlia, forse un po' spaventata dalla vita per cercare seriamente qualcuno, ma che comunque sa cosa vuole. All'inizio del romanzo, ed è una cosa che ho apprezzato da morire, è lei che fa il primo passo!
Sua figli Lex è una delle cose più carine e belle del libro. Così tanto genuina e così desiderosa di conoscere, io, come Wes, me ne sono innamorata subito.
Wes, sebbene non abbia mai desiderato una storia seria, appena si rende conto di ciò che prova si fa in quattro per cercare di far funzionare le cose. C'è una frase all'inizio che mi ha davvero fatto piacere leggere: Wes si rende infatti conto che non conosce affatto questa donna, e non capisce cosa gli piaccia tanto di lei, e proprio per questo motivo vorrebbe conoscerla di più.
Ed è in parte per questo che non mi è piaciuto il finale. Ho trovato il plot davvero campato per aria, non in linea con il personaggio che ci avevano fatto conoscere fino ad all'ora.
Ed è per questo che sono 4 stelle. Davvero una storia carina comunque, che vi consiglio assolutamente!

3.5 Scoring the Billionaire Stars
I am enjoying the heck out of this series! That said this one isn't my favorite of the series but I am glad I read it.
I was and am a big fan of Wes, Winnie though she just didn't do it for me. I don’t really know why she was a fine character I loved her relationship with her daughter.
I love the relationship Wes develops with Win’s daughter and the other characters in the book. Especially her brothers those cracked me up.
I don’t maybe it’s a fact that the narrator for Winnie was just not who I pictured in my head. Weird I know because I actually enjoy Maxine’s other works.
It just didn't work for me; I very much enjoyed Joe Arden’s performance of Wes. Aces he brings him to life for me.
Still very glad I read this story I have wanted Wes’s story since book 1!

Wes owner of the New York Mavericks, is very secretive, sexy and usually in control. Until Winnie. I was glad to read his story and to know how these two are gonna make it.
Winnie is a super woman, single mother, hard worker and determined not to let someone in her heart. Her family comes first. But women has needs and why not enjoying the hottie Wes as the perfect candidate?
Two different lifestyle, two independent and stubborn people.
Once bachelor with no strings and a mother of a cute and incredible 6 year old, Lexi. I have to say that this little girl won me over. Totally.
The chemistry between the characters were great and Wes and Winnie make an amazing couple.
The banter is very good and entertaining. Not denying it.
What start like a friend with benefits relationship turns into something more. I wanted to see how these two amazing are going to take them there. To the real thing, to pass over the unsaid things and insecurities.
The road was a little bit long to get there and thanks to their crazy bunch of friends, the storyline stayed strong and very interesting. There was some priceless scenes as usual, and I laughed a lot.
Despite all the entertaining and fun characters, I felt like something was missing. It was a little dragged. From time to time, the story seems to running out of steam.
Anyway it was a good addition to the series but I missed the sparkles of the first ones. Did I expect too much? Maybe.

Not a fan.... at all. See... I hate kids in romance books. Not only are they little cock blockers, but being a single parent creates huge issues on how someone approaches dating. There are so many additional things that you have to consider that you can't just enjoy the "getting to know you" stage of the couple. ok..... a recap before I jump on my soapbox.
Wes (billionaire, NFL team owner, dumb douche) insta-lusts after Winnie (athletic doc, single mom) the second he sees her. He really is a whore that only hits it and quits it and has no interest in kids. They end up f*cking and secretly hooking up for a while, then he meets her daughter. Then the book is obvi all about the kid and how she fits into their romance. After months of being together and him building a relationship with the daughter, he decides to dump them because he's dumb as f*ck. She's obvi crushed. They go months without being together and even though he knows he loves her, he refuses to just be honest and tell her he made a mistake and fight to get her back. I don't think I could have given him a second chance in real life. The first two books in this series were kind of funny and fun. This one is just way too much angst and seriousness.
As a single mom IRL, I chose to go 15-years without dating/having sex for the sake of devoting my time to my kid. I didn't want to deal with the complexities and emotions that involved dating. I know that's not the path that everyone takes. This book is the perfect example of why I made the decisions I did. She falls in love with him, her daughter falls in love with him, and he destroys their hearts. No thank you. These decisions are hard enough IRL, I don't freaking need it in my fictional romance.

Book 3 in the Billionaire series is about Wes Lancaster, owner of the New York Mavericks football team, and his team doctor, Winnie Winslow. Winnie came to the team from St. Luke's, because the job gave her the opportunity to spend more time with her 6-year old daughter, who has autism.
Wes is instantly attracted to Winnie, but wants no wife and kids in his future. His mother died when he was young, and his father struggled with the loss. So when he starts his flirty banter with Winnie, he's surprised when he is interested in taking things further with her.
Wes also hits it off with Winnie's daughter, Lexi. Lexi was freaking adorable. Winnie also had four very overprotective brothers, one whom she was particularly close to, named Remy. Remy was very close to both Winnie and Lexi, and was one of Lexi's primary caregivers.
This book was mostly about screwing while on the road with the football. Wes wasn't really committed to a relationship with Winnie at first, and then he got spooked and let both Winnie and Lexi down.
The saving grace in this book for me was Winnie. She was really strong, and always put her daughter first. I had a lot of respect for that. She wasn't terribly quick in forgiving Wes, which he deserved.
I loved this series, and if another book came out, that is not a novella, I would read it.

Winnie and Wes finally get their book and *shocker* they get together!
I have enjoyed this series but I feel like it's time to say goodbye to the billionaires (and considering I swore off of reading ANYTHING with 'billionaire' in the title a good while ago I've done well to get through this).
I didn't like or lust for Wes, so it made it difficult to keep picking this up and I did have a moment when the shit hit the fan that I probably would have cheered louder if Win got away from him completely.
To put it bluntly no ones going to take Thatchers crown.
2 commitment phobic man child stars.

This one was seriously cute, struck a cord when I came to the daughter and the emotion that comes with being a mother and having a love interest. No, I'm not a single mother. I have a wonderful husband, but if it had been me in that situation I would have hoped for something similar.

Okay. Wow
I really liled Winnie- Woman with a spine of steel and yet has emotion and oozes delicate(not like a Damsel In distress but like I have emotions. And this is quite news since I have a seen a lot of women with spime characters who are shown heartless)in all the right ways.
Wes reminds me of Max from Beautiful Stranger. I love them. Men in love with their jobs and are proud of what their love has achieved in life.
Though I felt pauses in between. It wasn't a smooth read.
Character development was okayish in case of Winnie or should I say next to non-existent.
I loved Lexi. I mean wow.

I'm so happy right now. So so happy! It's that happiness you feel when you read a book that totally fulfills you!
This book made my week, made my day, and I'm certain it will keep me in a blissful mood for a long time!
This series is coming to an end, and that makes me so sad, but I'm so happy for seeing all the characters finding their right paths, their HEAs, their soulmate, their family!
This book made laught out lout a lot!! I also swoon and had unshed tears here and there. It was light and crazy funny, but it was also sensitive and beautiful, it was emotional in the right amount. It was a romcom through and through, but it was so much more than that! Lexi is proof of that.
It's a standalone that is also part of a series (Billionaire Bad Boys). This time, we got to see Winnie, Lexy and Wes' story. And it was spetacular.
Wes is stoic, reserved, no one knows what he is feeling or thinking (well, maybe Kline and Thatch do), and he is content that way. But when Win comes, with all her fierceness, standing up for her and Lexy, his walls start to crumble, brick by brick. And to bring them down completely, Lexy, in all her speciality, being the incredible and precious girl she is, comes in like a genious wrecking ball!
And, oh, the way we learn more about Lexy, page by page, getting to know her better, understand her better, know her struggles better, it was so beautiful, so sensitive and well written. It wasn't exagerated, it was light but real. It was warm and so involving. And the way Win was always there, making her feel better. And they way Wes was getting so familiar and comfortable, so part of that family....Win wasn't the only one in love!
"I want to be one of her biggest embarrassments.
I wanted to be everything to this beautifully brilliant little girl. I wanted to be her father figure, one of the two biggest supporters in her life.
I wanted her to be mine. My little girl"
Actually, I can't decide which character I love the most! There wasn't one single character that didn't touch me somehow!
This book was complete, the plot was solid, the story was well written and the characters were remarkable! Each one in his/her own way touched my heart and me happier page by page!
It was a book about families for so many reasons! The support and care of your blood family. The advices and craziness of your friends family. The unconditional love of the family you choose to have.
"I want you and I want Lex and I want us to be the family we shouldn't have ever stopped being. I want to continue falling more in love with you every day"

I am so going to miss these bad boy billionaires with hearts of gold. We are only one novella away from saying good bye and it's gonna hurt. Scoring is Winnie Winslow and Wes Lancaster's story. Wes is the uber rich, gorgeous commitment phobic owner of the New York Mavericks football team, a restaurant with a cool name-Bad and a bunch of start up companies. Oh yeah, and he's worth three or four billion dollars.
I like the control. I like the escapism. I like being in charge of my own life.
Money may not buy happiness, but it definitely buys opportunity.
He loves his work-it's his passion. He has no time for relationships that might take away from his wheeling and dealings. But he does have an eye for beautiful women. And right now, he has his eye on Winnie Winslow, the new team's physician.
She's everything I don't want.
Strong-willed. Demanding. A mother to a young child.
But Winnie may just be the game changer in the contest of wills.
Winnie is smart, responsible and a mother who puts her daughter (who has special needs) above anything else. So getting involved with Wes is the last thing she needs. I have loved this series and we only have a novella coming our way to look forward to reading. With these crazy over the top characters I bet we could squeak out a few more books couldn't we?

I am so going to miss these bad boy billionaires with hearts of gold. We are only one novella away from saying good bye and it's gonna hurt. Scoring is Winnie Winslow and Wes Lancaster's story. Wes is the uber rich, gorgeous commitment phobic owner of the New York Mavericks football team, a restaurant with a cool name-Bad and a bunch of start up companies. Oh yeah, and he's worth three or four billion dollars.
I like the control. I like the escapism. I like being in charge of my own life.

Scoring The Billionaire is the last full length standalone novel in duo Max Monroe's Billionaire Bad Boys series and they pulled out all the stops to bring the series to an AMAZING end (well not complete end as there is a novella coming but you get what I am saying.) With each book and set of characters I honestly believe they are my favorites and no one can top them and then the next book comes out and I am in love all over again.
'Winnie Winslow was on a date. With a man who was distinctly, noticeably, heartbreakingly . . .not me.'
Wes is confident that the one thing he does not want in life is to get involved with a single mother. He is too busy and too selfish to involve a child in any relationship. So when he finds that is attracted to his team's physician Winnie like he has never been attracted to a woman before he fights it with a force. She is a single mom whose main focus will always be her little girl Lex. But Wes cannot stay away and soon he finds himself attracted to both Winnie and Lex and he knows that he is not what is right for them but can he stay away?
'I felt like I was outside of myself, watching from a bubble that very well might burst. But I didn't care. For now, I was floating in a dream, and I had no immediate plans to wake up.'
Wes is easy to love but that being said he made me so mad. I was upset and angry at him but that was only because I was so invested in him and Winnie and their story. But never fear. It all comes together beautifully. This book was superb. Wes was sexy and sweet and Winnie was strong and fun and together their dynamic was intense and full of amazing sexual chemistry. But the true star of this story is Lex, Winnie's daughter. Insanely brilliant and unique I loved every scene with her and hope we see more from her and her too hot for their own good uncles, each of who give off their own sexy alpha vibe.
'Fuck Wes Lancaster. Fuck him for treating me like a piece of trash. Fuck him for worming his way into mine and my daughter's hearts and then changing his goddamn mind.'
Funny, sexy, dramatic and sweet. I knew Scoring The Billionaire would be a hit from the first page and Max Monroe did not let me down.

5+ Fantastically Hilarious Stars
Wes is the last of the Billionaire Bad Boys. He has no interest in a relationship, especially not a relationship with a woman with a child... So why can't he stay away from Winnie Winslow.
Winnie knows Wes isn't interested in a relationship. She's even heard him say he doesn't want a ready-made family. But her body can't seem to get the message when he's near.
Wes is spending more time than usual at the stadium where his team, The Mavericks, are. But because he's the type of boss who people consider a "Helicopter Boss," they don't suspect that he can't stay away from Winnie. Once Wes meets Winnies six year old, Lexi, he can't believe he could fall for a little person the way he has.
Winnie can't believe that the player has changed his ways, but takes a chance letting him get close to her and her family. The Winslow brothers, Thatch, and Kline all have something to say for how Wes is handling things.
But when fears surface, will they survive the emotional devastation and will Wes be able to win back the family he never knew he needed and wanted?
I loved every moment of this book. Parts were hilarious and parts made me tear up. I fell in love with Lexi Winslow and her relationship with her Uncle's and Wes. I couldn't get enough and am sad that it's over. I'm hoping and praying we get more of these characters with a spinoff with the Winslow boys or any other peripheral characters.
If you haven't read The Billionaire Bad Boys series... please do. If for nothing else, but to get to this installment. This is one of the few series I can honestly say that each book gets better than the last.
