Summer rages on in Crescent Cove, but Haley Sullivan can't seem to rescue Drenaline Surf's sinking reputation. Surfers are kicked out of events. A.J.'s criminal record is leaked. Plans for a second Drenaline Surf store are foiled.
With Vin's recent departure and Colby's dirty laundry displayed on the world's largest clothes line, Haley is barely hanging on. The team is desperate to save the store and Shark's legacy in the surf community, but someone is making waves to stop them and doesn't care who goes down with the ship.
The only sanity Haley has left is Topher Brooks, her ex-boyfriend's younger brother. While the tabloids pick apart their relationship, she struggles to hang on to the one thing that feels real to her, but surf world drama and matters of the heart are two entirely different things. If the blackmailer doesn't bring her down first, her feelings for the Brooks brothers just might.
(Always Summer is book #3 in the Drenaline Surf series.)

I do not hang out on Goodreads often, so please see my website (http://www.nikkichartierbooks.com) for all updates and true links to my backlist.
I absolutely loved it always a new twist around the corner. as I was reading it I turn around and say oh I know it's going to be like this..... but the characters turn around and do something totally different. which I would not expect. the ending..... omg it got me so upset it was one of those endings where you say it should of ended like this instead of how it ended I just wish she would of put one more line just the biggest detail of all time.......
I can't wait to read the next book but pleassssssssssssssssssssssse make it longer with a lot more twists!!!!!!!
It's been years since I read the last Drenaline Surf book, but I easily slipped back into the drama of this world. As I read, I felt like this could be a CW show (a good thing - I like them!), and like any good serial drama, it ended with a cliffy. The story took some interesting turns, and I definitely want to get to the bottom of all this.
This book had more of the friendships I had loved in the first book (my favorite) which was great. The only problem I really had was that it ended on a crazy cliffhanger (like to the point where it felt like we only got 3/4 of a book). Aside from that, I enjoyed it. You like surfing, friendships, California, and drama (and okay, there's some romantic interests there too)? Then you should buy the Drenaline Surf books.
Whaaaaaat?! The ending is one hell of a cliffhanger! I still can't grant this book 5 stars because, although it pulls you in, it contains too much drama to my liking. I was on the verge of being depressed about it. And I wish the romance was more present and developped. But I'm starting to think maybe there was a good reason behind this absence... I will be reading the final book as soon as it comes out.
Always Summer (Drenaline Surf #3) by Nikki Godwin Are you freaking kidding me this is how it ends!!! I really didn't like this book until Vin came back at chapter 21 then boom it was over! I hate how she went to the brother and that whole relationship! Can't wait to start the next book and hope for vin to win!!! 4 stars
I've read this series some time last year and I was so intrigued!!! I just got an update that the next book was released this 15th of June and I don't know where to download it because it seems like in my country, it's not available on ibooks!! Please help :-( I've been wanting to read it so bad.
I have been waiting for book three of the Drenaline Surf Series to come out for a while, I can say it was more than I was expecting and so good. Of course there was a flaw like any other book and that was the cliffhanger and the fact the author will not be writing a fourth book until this series becomes more popular, so for the love of my sanity BUY THIS BOOK & the first two, as well. NOW!
Having read the first two books so many times it was hard for me reading the third book. Everything I loved about Drenaline Surf was falling apart, the spirit was gone and then there was this massive cliffhanger.
But I love this story and how Haley is handling all the shit that happens. And then there's Colby... still fancy him (with the lyrics of Always Summer spinning in my head).
Read this for the second time in 2021 & lovd it just as much as in 2016! All the plot twists - I didn’t even remember most of this but I’m glad I’m re reading. Topher needs to figure out his LIFE but my heart - I love that boy so much 🥺.
Very intense, especially the ending. Damn. I need the last book to this. Nikki, I know it'll take a long time before you start on the last book, but I will wait. I love this series too much not to do so.
