This book was not what I was looking for when I bought it. It is basically a really pretty coffee table book about weddings. There is nothing informative about it. If you just want to look at pretty pictures, then this is for you, if you actually want some information or ideas, then this is not the right book.

This book is filled with beautiful photographs of extravagant Southern weddings. It includes a few helpful (but perhaps impractical) DIY instructions, but for the most part it's eye candy out of most peoples' budgets. If you're having a garden ceremony and you want some classic Southern flair, pick it up (just for fun.)

Tara is exceptional in her execution-she creates beautiful tent "worlds". The book was easy to relate to and not loaded down with those dumb checklists that wedding books sometimes throw in.
