​Henrietta Harding was born in Atlanta, but she moved to Europe with her parents at the age of 7. She fell in love with France, and especially Paris, a city that inspired and continues to inspire her a lot.

No one is born a romance writer, but she got a good start. She has been writing since she was 4 years old; while other children had just started talking more fluently she had already written her first poem! She studied French literature at the University of Strasbourg where she met her husband during her second year in college.

Henrietta makes her home in Boston where she spends her time writing her own enchanting historical romances, and chasing around her dog for long hours, without even noticing. She truly believes the most perfect heroes and heroines are imperfect, and she rather enjoys torturing them before giving them a well deserved happily ever after!

This was just a goovy good time, unfortunately there were just to many typos and to many sentence repeats for me to rate it a full 3 stars.

But she did shock me with the last 20% or so, definitely did not see that coming in my historical romance. Even though it wasn't very believable how it got resolved.

There were also some reverences i didn't get about classics, but that is just a me problem. So if you do know your classics I feel like you will enjoy those.

She was betrayed so doesn’t want to marry, but the family’s financial situation has her rethinking. He doesn’t want to marry but to get his inheritance he must. He proposes a marriage of convenience. Then the villains enter to had some twists and turns to the plot. It was a good read.

I took two stars away because of the extended epilogue. It ruined the story. You had a perfect story it ended well. The extended was all wrong.

This was a very good book and it kept my interest until the very end. This was a love story between Viviana and Edwin.
