Born and raised in Hungary, Barbara hopscotched her way across Europe—collecting memories, inspiration, and probably a few too many notebooks—before settling in Germany with her family (and her ever-growing tea stash).
By day, she works in HR (helping grown-ups), and by night, she writes books (helping little hearts grow big). She doesn’t drink coffee (though she loves the smell), but give her a cup of warm plum tea and a handful of pistachios, and she’s ready to take on any story.
Whether she’s writing about underwater adventures, superhero parents, or bugs that love to hug, Barbara’s mission is simple: to create stories that make kids smile and parents feel like rockstars.

What a really fun fall read
What an absolute delight this book is. The illustrations are wonderful, they are such a mixture of simplicity and yet detail, the colours are just gorgeous. The book rhymes so so nicely and makes me crave for my fave time of year. One of the most adorable books I’ve read recently.

Cute book
We loved this book. Fall is our favorite season and this book captured everything great about fall. The leaves changing colors, seeing the birds in the sky, drinking hot cider. Puts you in a good mood instantly. Great illustrations.
