Hazel and Callum's story is just the story to get you in the mood for the upcoming spooky season! With it being less than 80 pages, you get a quick novella with all the Halloween fun and spice!

I'll keep this short because it's the shortest book I've ever DNFd.
Callum (MMC) cries into his friend's shoulder because he hasn't seen his best mate for a few years. Thought that was a bit dramatic.
""Hello again," I growl at her." - Not sure why he's growling at her, the chapter literally starts like that.
"I sip my drink, wishing it was spiked now more than ever," - Not sure if spiked has a different meaning in America but as a Brit it sounds like he's asking to be drugged after he's had a two minute conversation with the FMC.

Loved it’s a spicy second chance Halloween novella. Callum has retuned home just in time for the annual harvest festival when he runs into a blast from his past. When old feelings resurface and a game in a maze ignites old desires, they’ll have to decide if this is the right time to go all in. Absolutely loved Hazel and Callum’s chemistry, loved how eager and accepting he was of her preferences, they were made for each other and I’m glad they finally found their way back to each other.

If you are looking for a quick spicy read. This is it. Great for spooky season too. Their chemistry, banter & the spicy is so good. Definitely recommend.

This was a short and fun read. Absolutely perfect for the fall season.
It was thrilling and primal and hot.
Their previous connection didn’t make this short story unbelievable, it felt like a couple who truly were grown and at different points in their lives and ready to give it another go.

Bethanie kicks this novella out of the park! Every time I believe I have a favorite she comes out with another and I cannot at this point decide. Definitely a great read, it is short but sometimes romances do not need to be long winded in order to offer up everything a reader wants. This book does not disappoint and if you like yourself a big man who isn't afraid to hold you up and steal your soul at the same time this book is for you!
