Before I started writing novels, my comedy play, The Magazine was performed at The Bush Theatre in London, and my poetry has been published in several anthologies. However, I knew what I really wanted to write were novels. With several unfinished manuscripts languishing in the depths of my computer's hard drive, it was my discovery of erotic romance that led me to ponder what my ideal romantic hero looked like. And thus, Nick Frost was born, and the epic love he shares with Mia spanning three books of Frost Trilogy. Then, after being nagged by my readers, of course I had to write Aiden and Jen's love story in the FT spin-off, Torn.
After that I delved into the world of full-on erotica, but, as much as I enjoyed writing it, I knew I wanted to write other genres because, along with my hope that if an afterlife exists I can spend mine in a divine library, I'm also a firm believer in not being pigeon-holed. Which is why I made my first foray into literary fiction with A Person Could Disappear Here, because, for me, writing is all about the characters and their story rather than genre.
My first novels were erotic romances. My men are hot, sexy and bossy and my women strong and sassy and give as good as they get. I absolutely refuse to write weak women because we don't all need to be rescued, but we do all need the love and devotion of a good man. Oh, and plenty of sheet-clawing, body-rocking, mind-altering sex! Despite all the hot sex, my erotic romances are really love stories, jam packed full of emotion because I believe... When it comes to Love and Romance, neither should be anything less than Extraordinary.
For those of you who like your romance to be less explicit, I am intending to publish Romance Only versions of Frost Trilogy and Torn - hopefully later this year.
I've also written some hot erotica that pulls no punches, so be prepared to be aroused. But if you like your erotica with a story and a side helping of emotion, you get that too - along with lots of hot sex.
As English as they come, I believe there's nothing that can't be solved, resolved, overcome or celebrated better than with a nice cup of tea. (preferably with a lovely slice of Victoria sponge cake with real buttercream icing) From Rachmaninov (whose piano concertos I often listen to while writing) to Aerosmith, my taste in music is best described as eclectic. And I make a mean chocolate cake.

***5 "Risk It All To Win It All" Stars***
I fell in love with Nick & Mia in Beguiled, and this series just keeps getting better. Watching those two work through their issues, come to terms with their demons, and figure out how to love one another the RIGHT way has been such a delight! Mia is sassy & independent as ever, while Nick grows into himself even more - becoming the gentleman we always knew he was inside that volatile alpha exterior.
There's plenty of scorching hot sex and nail-biting drama in this final installment of the trilogy, and bring tissues - things get MUCH worse before they get better. And I'm SOOOO delighted to see Aiden & Jen's story is coming next! SQUEE!!!
I'm sad to see these two ride off into the sunset, but fans of the series should be well pleased with the explosive ending! A brilliant, beautifully crafted read from start to finish, Letting Go gives a satisfying ending to one of my favorite series.

Salve lettrici.
Oggi con “Fino alla fine” ho finalmente concluso la serie “Frost” di Terri George.
Se avete letto le mie precedenti recensioni sapete che il primo volume mi aveva molto intrigato, mentre il secondo mi aveva lasciato molto perplessa.
Ero dunque molto curiosa di leggere questo terzo e ultimo volume, nella speranza di poter ritrovare in questa lettura tutto ciò che mi aveva colpito nel primo.
Ritroviamo Nick e Mia separati, in uno dei loro tanti tira e molla, e senz’altro persi l’uno senza l’altro. Il loro amore è forte e senza la presenza dell’altro i due vivono una vita a metà.
Nick rientra nel tunnel dell’alcol, mentre Mia si richiude in se stessa.
Il loro passato sembra essere un peso troppo grande e i segreti che si portano dietro sembrano essere un bagaglio troppo ingombrante. Riusciranno dunque ad accettarsi completamente e a lasciare finalmente entrare l’altro nella parte più oscura del loro cuore?
“Questo è ciò che è l’uomo che sta piangendo tra le mie braccia, e se Nick non ama se stesso, allora dovrò amarlo io abbastanza per tutti e due.”
Insomma lettrici, inutile ripetervi che questa serie non mi ha colpito molto.
Il romanzo precedente è stata una vera e proprio delusione ma, per fortuna, con questo volume conclusivo la storia si è un po’ ripresa.
Niente più tira e molla per i due, né più solo sesso. In questo volume i due protagonisti faranno una crescita davvero interessante e si conquisteranno il loro lieto fine.
Finalmente entrambi troveranno il coraggio di fidarsi dell’altro, lasciandolo entrare nel loro passato e raccontandogli ogni segreto, anche quelli più difficili.
Scopriremo dunque il passato di Nick e tutto ciò che lo tormenta. Entreremo nel suo cuore e, grazie ai PoV alterni, ci conquisterà ancora di più.
Nick, secondo il mio parere, è la colonna portante di questo romanzo: è dolce, romantico e passionale, è un fidanzato premuroso e un uomo perfetto. Io l’ho adorato.
Non mi è piaciuta molto, invece, la protagonista femminile, così come non mi è piaciuta la superficialità con cui l’autrice tratta il passato di Nick. Avrei preferito avere tra le mani molti più dettagli sul suo passato, soprattutto perché il suo passato ha un ruolo molto rilevante sul suo presente.
Insomma, amiche del Confine, questa è una serie che, a malincuore, non mi sento di consigliarvi. Nonostante avesse tutti i presupposti giusti per un bellissimo romance, non è riuscita a catturarmi totalmente.
Era iniziata davvero bene, poi però si è persa troppo e, nonostante, questo terzo libro sia decisamente meglio del precedente, non è riuscito comunque a farmi cambiare idea sulla storia, che seppur bella non balla!

Letting Go is the final book in the Frost Trilogy written by Terri George. This book picks up right where book two left off. And the author does not disappoint! In the previous book Nick and Mia’s relationship was on the outs. Nick is lost without Mia and heading down a road of self destruction. Mia is miserable without Nick but feels she made the right decision regarding their relationship. The problem with Nick and Mia is that they have both kept secrets from one another. This has led to both of them being hurt. One event changes things for Nick and Mia and an opportunity for a second chance presents its self.
Terri George did a fabulous job in bringing Nick and Mia’s story full circle. Their ups and downs kept the reader’s attention. Nick and Mia are likable characters with great chemistry. The reader can not help but cheer them on! I recommend not only this book, but the whole trilogy.

This review is for the entire Frost Trilogy. I own the first two books. The third book was given to me by the author, in exchange for an honest review.
Nick was a man adrift when he met Mia for the first time. At thirty-five years of age, he had spent his entire existence making all the money he could in order to fill his life. He also played hard -wine, women, and drugs providing a temporary oblivion to the emptiness of his life.
At twenty-five, Mia was just starting to assert herself and build a life. After a harrowing breakup with her college boyfriend, she realizes she needs to make up for the five years she lost in a bad relationship and protect her heart.
Our author has created an erotic love affair that will sweep your hearts away. Chemistry does not even begin to describe the attraction between these lovers. For Nick, meeting Mia is like meeting his fate or finding the missing piece of the puzzle that is his life. He has many secrets he will not share with anyone. This is his burden. He also recognizes that Mia will not linger around with him unless full honesty is part of the foundation of their relationship. But, can he gamble telling her his secrets? What if she leaves him - can he survive?
Mia also has a past she would rather bury and forget. Growing up with a greedy and unattentive mother, losing her father, and now the final blow of her break up with her boyfriend, she is not eager to share her innermost secrets with Nick No matter how much she tries to resist him, she is unable to keep her heart from falling for him.
Throughout the trilogy, we get to experience how their relationship and trust builds, is torn down, is rebuilt, only to be torn down again. Their ups and downs, fighting, and the obstacles that life throws their way provide challenges these two lovers must navigate through. Their love is tested and in the end... Well, I will leave you to find out for yourselves what the ultimate outcome turns our to be. All is not assured. Just when they thought they had made it, the past comes back to haunt them.

Nel secondo capitolo della serie abbiamo lasciato una Mia delusa, affranta e disperaramente arrabbiata per quel che aveva scoperto sull'amore della sua vita, Nick. Nick Frost, il nostro uomo così dannatamente forte e prosperoso ma dall'animo sensibile e fragile, troppo fragile.
Mia ha deciso: non vuole più avere a che fare con una persona che le dichiara amore e poi lo ritrova a braccetto con una donna, accompagnato da un drink trasparente fra le dita e un atteggiamento troppo affettuoso. L' uomo che ha trascorsi con l'alcol e con le donne, che le aveva giurato di non cacciarsi più in queste situazioni, l'ha di nuovo delusa. Come può fidarsi? Come può pensare di essere felice insieme a lui?
Ma soprattutto come farà adesso Mia a trascorrere le giornate pensando a Nick solo e in procinto di sfogarsi con la sua peggior nemica e migliore amica, ovvero la Vodka?

La nostra protagonista è in completo contrasto con sè stessa e passa le sue giornate a riflettere: la sua mente sa di dover lasciar perdere tutto e lasciarsi alle spalle questa storia perchè le porta solo sofferenza; dall'altra parte il suo cuore ancora batte forsennato ogni volta che pensa a Nick e lo immagina solo, chiuso in casa, attaccato all'alcol. La paura che gli succeda qualcosa è tanta ma non può tornare con lui solo per questo!
Nick Frost nel frattempo è proprio come lo immagina Mia, se non peggio. Fortunatamente il suo migliore amico Aiden cerca di farlo sopravvivere giorno dopo giorno ma non funziona. Nick è un treno inarrestabile, è "de coccio" come si può dire e ha bisogno di lei, del suo cuore, la sua anima, la sua donna, la sua Mia.
Un grave incidente lo costringerà a restare a letto e porterà i due ad incontrarsi di nuovo.
Basterà questo per riavvicinarsi? Basterà alla coppia tornare insieme solo per riparare i vetri rotti oppure dovranno anche imparare a ricostruire il castello che è andato distrutto?

La relazione fra Mia e Nick non è mai stata semplice dall'inizio della serie e di certo adesso le cose non sono cambiate. Il passato di entrambi ha comunque macchiato il loro rapporto e i dubbi, le paure e le insicurezze sovrasteranno l'amore e la passione che entrambi nutrono e provano standosi accanto.
La scrittura della George è molto scorrevole, semplice e lineare. Il ritmo veloce è dato dalle frequenti sequenze dialogate, i botta e risposta fra i protagonisti dolci e allo stesso tempo scontrosi che si alternano a sequenze descrittive e riflessive non eccessivamente lunghe, dando al testo un'armonia perfetta. L'unica nota stonata è la monotonia del libro e le continue ripetizioni. Avrebbero potuto terminare la storia già al secondo libro perchè mi è sembrato volessero allungare il brodo, tanto che ho fatto davvero fatica a leggere sempre le stesse cose. I colpi di scena sono scadenti e la quotidianità della coppia dopo un po' stanca.
Per quanto riguarda i personaggi, si sono evoluti, sono meglio caratterizzati e questo è da premiare. Hanno capito cosa è giusto e cosa è sbagliato, cosa vogliono dalla loro vita ed è l'amore vero. Entrambi però spesso cadono nel vuoto e perdono la loro retta via. Potrei paragonare Nick Frost ad un soufflè al cioccolato, più duro all'esterno ma all'interno con un cuore di cioccolato fuso che si scioglie al primo schiocco. Scoprirete di più su di lui e lo amerete ancora di più. Mia è una donna apparentemente fragile ma che in realtà dimostra una grande responsabilità e una forza accecante. Finale forse un po' banale ma comunque accettabile! Se amate il genere erotico allora questo libro vi piacerà, non è perfetto ma è comunque una storia che ti tiene incollata alle pagine.
Riusciranno i nostri protagonisti a regalarci il lieto fine? Beh, leggete il libro e lo scoprirete!

Two people meet... Two people fall in love... Two people live happily ever after... Well, maybe in a fairy tale, but this simple explanation of love rarely happens in real life! Love is messy, wonderful, hurtful, beautiful and all-consuming! THIS is Nick and Mia's love story! Theirs is a love that goes through every emotion known to man... And even though you just know that author Terri George is going to give them that happily ever after, she is a talented enough writer to keep you guessing! Book 3 of The Frost Trilogy made me cry both sad tears and happy tears... It made me question both of the main characters (not his BFF Aiden of course) and whether or not I could forgive if in their situation. The beautiful thing though is that they do both forgive the other for things that happened before they even met and even some that happen now - just as true soul mates should! If you are looking for a book with characters that are fully developed by a talented author that will have you yearning for a love like theirs (messy and all), then buy these books and start reading today! You will not be disappointed!

A terrific end to an incredible trilogy. Author Terri George's character development of the main character Nick Frost is spot on in this contribution to the series. I wasn't a big fan of his throughout book two, but he well made up for it in this one! The sex scenes were well done and the erotic elements kick it up a notch. The suspense chapters were well done and the revelations about Nick's past made everything click into place. The epilogue touched my heart and gives the reader the HEA for this couple they crave! Excellent work from a talented author and look forward to her next offering.

And the steamy sexiness that is Nick and Mia was even sexier and hotter!!! It hits every emotion and makes you want more. This is definitely a book you won't be able to put down until you know what happens.

Recensione della Queen – Fino alla fine di Terri George terzo volume della Frost Trilogy, contemporary romance uscito il 29 marzo grazie alla Quixote Edizioni.
Il rapporto tra Mia e Nick si è interrotto bruscamente e adesso sono più lontani che mai, separati proprio da quell’amore travolgente e misterioso che li aveva uniti in passato. Nick è tornato alle vecchie abitudini, la bottiglia è la sua migliore amica, e passa tutto il giorno in casa trascurando il suo lavoro e rinchiudendosi sempre di più in una solitudine disperata. Ha smesso di lottare per la sua dolce Mia, si è arreso, e la frustrazione lo sta rendendo ogni giorno che passa sempre più irascibile, tanto che un giorno in seguito ad una lite violenta si ritrova in un letto d’ospedale.
Mia affronta la vita un giorno alla volta, cercando di andare avanti come meglio può, ma appena riceve la notizia che Nick è in Ospedale, corre subito al suo capezzale. Lui ha bisogno di riaverla nella sua vita per guarire, e si ritrovano nuovamente a lottare insieme per un sentimento che va oltre l’amore, è una passione viscerale che li travolge e li attira come una forza magnetica uno verso l’altra.
I suoi occhi si riempiono di emozione guardando nei miei, il suo sguardo esprime molto più del mio. Tra noi passano molte cose; tutte quelle che non abbiamo detto. A volte, però, non c’è bisogno di pronunciare le parole.
Ma le incertezze e i segreti sono ancora dietro l’angolo, e non sarà facile per loro ritrovare quella stabilità di cui hanno bisogno per costruire nuovamente un futuro insieme.
Le colpe non sono mai a senso unico, Nick ha il suo fardello personale da sopportare, e Mia nasconde un segreto che verrà fuori all’improvviso scatenando una reazione inaspettata.
La mancanza di fiducia è il tema predominante di questa trilogia; nascondono entrambi nel loro passato delle azioni discutibili, e non trovano il coraggio di confidarsi con la persona amata. Questo scatena una serie di eventi e reazioni a catena, che li porta inevitabilmente a confondere i desideri con la realtà dei fatti.
Il primo passo per ricostruire un legame è essere onesti fino in fondo, e durante questo terzo capitolo, i due protagonisti si metteranno a nudo difronte alle proprie paure più recondite. Questo è un nuovo inizio per entrambi e tra ostacoli e nuove disavventure, dovranno riuscire a trovare la strada per il perdono.
Niente succede per caso, un incontro non è casuale, quando due persone sono destinate a stare insieme, il destino fa di tutto per farle incontrare.
Alcune persone sono fatte l’una per l’altra. Tra loro, ci sono persone che non si lasciano mai, altri si separano per via di alcune circostanze della vita, ma finiscono, malgrado il tempo e gli ostacoli, per rincontrarsi, come se fossero collegati da un filo invisibile. Ecco perché le anime destinate a stare insieme si ritrovano sempre.
Essere separati dalla persona amata reca un vuoto nel nostro cuore, è come se ci mancasse una parte essenziale di noi stessi. Sogniamo l’altra persona, e quando ci svegliamo, ci chiediamo perché le cose siano andate così. Mia e Nick sono due anime gemelle destinate a stare insieme fin dal primo capitolo e durante la loro storia, vivremo un saliscendi di emozioni, passione gioia, dolore, rabbia, fino al culmine estremo dell’amore trascendentale.
La loro semplicità nell’accettare gli errori altrui, rende la storia umana e terrena, non siamo difronte al classico protagonista ricco e prepotente che pensa che tutto gli sia dovuto, Nick è un uomo che si è fatto strada nella vita conquistando la sua fama e vivendo sulla propria pelle la vera sofferenza di chi non ha nulla al mondo per cui valga la pena lottare. Mia è una ragazza forte dal carattere deciso che non si lascia abbindolare dal primo venuto, e tiene il punto in tutte le situazioni che la vita le mette difronte, pagando a volte un caro prezzo. Sono due persone che si incontrano nel momento sbagliato ma riescono contro tutto e tutti a vivere quel sentimento a modo loro. L’amore è disordinato, meraviglioso, inaspettato, feroce bello e a volte disarmante. Questa è la storia di Nick e Mia e vi farà penare per arrivare al lieto fine, ma vi consiglio la lettura dell’intera trilogia, perché chi di noi non si è trovato almeno una volta nella vita, a venire a patti con i propri demoni del passato?

Recensione
Dopo aver letto i primi due volumi di questa serie ero veramente curiosa di sapere come l’autrice avrebbe concluso la storia di Nick e Mia. I primi due libri, che pure mi sono piaciuti e sono scritti complessivamente abbastanza bene, ruotavano entrambi intorno a questi segreti inconfessabili dei due protagonisti e al loro grande amore ma, a livello di contenuti e di storia contenevano poco se non tanto ma tanto sesso.
Alla fine del secondo volume della serie abbiamo lasciato Mia e Nick nuovamente in crisi e all’inizio di quest’ultimo libro li vedremo entrambi toccare il fondo, seppur in due modi differenti. Ovviamente le cose non potranno rimanere così… non avrebbe senso e Mia e Nick avranno modo di rivedersi per provare a ritrovarsi liberi da ogni segreto!
Perché si, finalmente in quest’ultimo libro della serie tutti i segreti vengono a galla e l’autrice dà finalmente una spiegazione a tutto e la storia prende così un po’ di corpo diventando più consistente.
Una volta saputi i loro rispettivi segreti Mia e Nick dovranno perciò cercare di capire se le cose tra di loro potranno comunque funzionare nonostante tutto quello che è capitato loro nella vita e vi assicuro che non è poco!
L’impulsività nelle decisioni di entrambi i protagonisti, che ha caratterizzato molto la loro storia nei primi due libri, qui viene più tenuta a bada e questo darà ad entrambi la possibilità di chiarirsi su tante cose e di provare a dare un senso alla loro storia.
Io che non amo particolarmente gli erotici puri ho preferito nettamente quest’ultimo libro ai primi due perché quanto meno mi ha dato modo di dare una storia a Mia e Nick e perché mi ha permesso di vedere crescere i due protagonisti che, finalmente, impareranno a fidarsi uno dell’altra e a vivere la loro vita insieme. Li vedremo andare a pezzi e poi tornare alla vita. Qui i due protagonisti vengono sicuramente caratterizzati meglio e li vediamo fare i conti con il loro amore e le loro possibilità di un futuro insieme dopo essersi messi totalmente a nudo anche nell’animo! La forza del sentimento che unisce Mia e Nick esce fuori tutta anche perché insieme i due ne avranno ancora tante da superare…tanto per cambiare 😃!
Ancora una volta i POV sono alternati e questo mi ha permesso di entrare meglio nei pensieri dei due.
Se quest’ultimo libro prenderà da me un mezzo voto in meno rispetto ai due precedenti è perché voglio anche dare una valutazione complessiva alla storia che, per me, nella sua totalità presenta alcuni aspetti che non vanno.
Innanzitutto, io sono sempre più convinta del fatto che, se fosse stata più breve, questa storia sarebbe stata nel complesso più godibile mentre tutto, per me, risulta tirato troppo per le lunghe con l’effetto di aver una lettura appesantita e ripetitiva.
E poi ho trovato l’epilogo un po’ troppo banale… tutto risulta telefonatissimo! Io, viste le storie di entrambi i protagonisti, avrei chiuso la loro storia diversamente ma non essendo Terri George devo accettare quello che lei ha scritto ed esprimere però anche i miei dubbi.
Ciò non toglie però nulla al fatto che il modo di scrivere dell’autrice mi ha nel complesso tenuta incollata alle pagine nonostante non mi senta di inserire questa trilogia tra le mie preferite.
Questa non è una storia perfetta, ma è comunque una storia che vi consiglio di leggere, soprattutto se amate leggere erotici!
E chissà che Nick e Mia non torneranno a farsi vivi nella nuova serie dell’autrice, che avrà come protagonisti Aiden e Jen, i migliori amici di Nick e Mia!
Si intuiva fin da subito che avrebbero avuto il loro spazio e quindi ora non ci resta che aspettare per poter leggere anche la loro storia.

Siamo finalmente giunti al capitolo finale della trilogy Frost, ma prima di parlarvi di quest'ultimo capitolo, facciamo un piccolo passo indietro: Mia lascia Nick, convinta del suo tradimento e che le vecchie abitudini del suo uomo siano tornate a galla nel peggiore dei modi.
È così convinta delle sue ragioni, che non si sofferma nemmeno per un minuto a riflettere, e non dà modo a Nick di spiegarsi.
Era tutto chiaro e limpido nella sua mente, e l'orgoglio verso se stessa e la paura di rivivere tutto ciò che ha già subito con il suo ex, non l'ha resa abbastanza lucida.
Nick, dal canto suo, ha provato di tutto per far capire a Mia quanto sia innamorato di lei, e le ha spiegato a chiare lettere che se mai le fosse passato per la testa di chiudere la loro relazione, per lui sarebbe stato come morire.
Dal momento che Mia gli dice addio, infatti, Nick vive in un limbo di dolore talmente forte da cercare stordimento continuo nella vodka. Non passa un solo giorno in cui non sia totalmente ubriaco e il suo amico inseparabile Aiden, inizia a perdere le speranze sul fatto che sia recuperabile.
Passano le settimane e mentre Mia tenta di riprendere in mano la sua vita, Nick sprofonda sempre di più nella sua devastazione personale.
Una sera, però, accade qualcosa di talmente grave da minacciare veramente la vita di Nick, e Aiden, preso totalmente dal panico per la salute dell'amico, chiama Mia nella speranza che possa porre rimedio all'irreparabile.
È proprio in quel contesto che Mia realizza il profondo sentimento che prova ancora per quell'uomo, e che tutto ciò che stava tentando di fare per dimenticarlo, non era altro che un voler nascondere a sè stessa che senza Nick non riesce a vivere.
Ha dovuto vederlo disteso in un letto d'ospedale per capire l'enorme errore che stava commettendo e il senso di colpa per lo status di quell'uomo grande e fragile, rischia di soffocarla.
Pur di rivedere l'uomo possessivo e pieno di energie che ha conosciuto, è disposta a rivedere ogni sua priorità, sia lavorativa che personale.
È pronta ad aspettare che Nick le apra il suo cuore, e le racconti cosa lo tormenta, senza però fargli nessuna pressione e rispettando i suoi tempi.

Il passato di Nick è un profondo buco nero dal quale solo lui potrà riemergere, e lei non potrà fare altro che sostenerlo e amarlo con tutta se stessa.
La famigerata coppia Mia e Nick, dal momento della loro riappacificazione vivrà in una bolla di felicità e appagamento personale.
Questo libro è la degna conclusione per gli amanti del PER SEMPRE e dei romanzi sdolcinati.

Per me è stato davvero eccessivo.
La penna della George però non si discute.
Mi è piaciuto il doppio pov alternato, e le scene erotiche sono risultate ben dosate e non eccessive.
I personaggi sono ben descritti, ma li ho decisamente preferiti nei capitoli precedenti: molto più accattivanti e temprati.
Ora resta la curiosità di conoscere i retroscena della storia tra Aiden e Jen, i migliori amici della coppia.

Siamo finalmente giunti al capitolo finale della trilogy Frost, ma prima di parlarvi di quest'ultimo capitolo, facciamo un piccolo passo indietro: Mia lascia Nick, convinta del suo tradimento e che le vecchie abitudini del suo uomo siano tornate a galla nel peggiore dei modi.
È così convinta delle sue ragioni, che non si sofferma nemmeno per un minuto a riflettere, e non dà modo a Nick di spiegarsi.
Era tutto chiaro e limpido nella sua mente, e l'orgoglio verso se stessa e la paura di rivivere tutto ciò che ha già subito con il suo ex, non l'ha resa abbastanza lucida.
Nick, dal canto suo, ha provato di tutto per far capire a Mia quanto sia innamorato di lei, e le ha spiegato a chiare lettere che se mai le fosse passato per la testa di chiudere la loro relazione, per lui sarebbe stato come morire.
Dal momento che Mia gli dice addio, infatti, Nick vive in un limbo di dolore talmente forte da cercare stordimento continuo nella vodka. Non passa un solo giorno in cui non sia totalmente ubriaco e il suo amico inseparabile Aiden, inizia a perdere le speranze sul fatto che sia recuperabile.
Passano le settimane e mentre Mia tenta di riprendere in mano la sua vita, Nick sprofonda sempre di più nella sua devastazione personale.
Una sera, però, accade qualcosa di talmente grave da minacciare veramente la vita di Nick, e Aiden, preso totalmente dal panico per la salute dell'amico, chiama Mia nella speranza che possa porre rimedio all'irreparabile.
È proprio in quel contesto che Mia realizza il profondo sentimento che prova ancora per quell'uomo, e che tutto ciò che stava tentando di fare per dimenticarlo, non era altro che un voler nascondere a sè stessa che senza Nick non riesce a vivere.
Ha dovuto vederlo disteso in un letto d'ospedale per capire l'enorme errore che stava commettendo e il senso di colpa per lo status di quell'uomo grande e fragile, rischia di soffocarla.
Pur di rivedere l'uomo possessivo e pieno di energie che ha conosciuto, è disposta a rivedere ogni sua priorità, sia lavorativa che personale.
È pronta ad aspettare che Nick le apra il suo cuore, e le racconti cosa lo tormenta, senza però fargli nessuna pressione e rispettando i suoi tempi.

4⭐- Nel secondo capitolo della serie abbiamo lasciato una Mia delusa, affranta e disperaramente arrabbiata per quel che aveva scoperto sull'amore della sua vita, Nick. Nick Frost, il nostro uomo così dannatamente forte e prosperoso ma dall'animo sensibile e fragile, troppo fragile.
Mia ha deciso: non vuole più avere a che fare con una persona che le dichiara amore e poi lo ritrova a braccetto con una donna, accompagnato da un drink trasparente fra le dita e un atteggiamento troppo affettuoso. L' uomo che ha trascorsi con l'alcol e con le donne, che le aveva giurato di non cacciarsi più in queste situazioni, l'ha di nuovo delusa. Come può fidarsi? Come può pensare di essere felice insieme a lui?

Fine...
In questo 3° volume ho trovato dei miglioramenti nei comportamenti sia di Nick che di Mia, tranne per quei momenti in cui Nick perdeva il controllo. Anche se i motivi erano molto più che validi, doveva trattenersi. Il libro è stato prolisso su cose non molto importanti . Avrei dato molto più spazio al passato di Nick. Avrei anche fatto evolvere la situazione tra Jen e Aiden. Sono dei VERI amici per Mia e Nick. Verso il finale c'è stato un bel movimento. Mia in questo caso mi è piaciuta, non si è arresa, non si è lagnata più di tanto e ha avuto un'idea davvero geniale.

This review is for the entire Frost Trilogy. I own the first two books. The third book was given to me by the author, in exchange for an honest review.
Nick was a man adrift when he met Mia for the first time. At thirty-five years of age, he had spent his entire existence making all the money he could in order to fill his life. He also played hard -wine, women, and drugs providing a temporary oblivion to the emptiness of his life.
At twenty-five, Mia was just starting to assert herself and build a life. After a harrowing breakup with her college boyfriend, she realizes she needs to make up for the five years she lost in a bad relationship and protect her heart.
Our author has created an erotic love affair that will sweep your hearts away. Chemistry does not even begin to describe the attraction between these lovers. For Nick, meeting Mia is like meeting his fate or finding the missing piece of the puzzle that is his life. He has many secrets he will not share with anyone. This is his burden. He also recognizes that Mia will not linger around with him unless full honesty is part of the foundation of their relationship. But, can he gamble telling her his secrets? What if she leaves him - can he survive?
Mia also has a past she would rather bury and forget. Growing up with a greedy and unattentive mother, losing her father, and now the final blow of her break up with her boyfriend, she is not eager to share her innermost secrets with Nick No matter how much she tries to resist him, she is unable to keep her heart from falling for him.
Throughout the trilogy, we get to experience how their relationship and trust builds, is torn down, is rebuilt, only to be torn down again. Their ups and downs, fighting, and the obstacles that life throws their way provide challenges these two lovers must navigate through. Their love is tested and in the end... Well, I will leave you to find out for yourselves what the ultimate outcome turns our to be. All is not assured. Just when they thought they had made it, the past comes back to haunt them.

Letting Go è il libro conclusivo della Frost Trilogy, un libro che non vedevo l’ora di leggere perché morivo dalla voglia di vedere come andava a finire la storia d’amore tra Mia e Nick.
Se ho amato i primi due libri, questo non ha fatto eccezione.
In Letting Go i segreti di Mia e Nick, poco alla volta, sono finalmente rivelati. A un certo punto gli eventi sono stati così dolorosi da spezzarmi il cuore e ho seriamente temuto che i due non avrebbero mai avuto il loro “e vissero felici e contenti”.
Lasciare andare il passato, liberarsi delle bugie e dei segreti, per Mia e Nick è una sfida, significa andare avanti e fidarsi uno dell’altra.
Se Nick non ama se stesso, sarò io ad amarlo abbastanza per tutti e due
In questo libro ci sono così tanti colpi di scena che mi sono persa in un turbinio di emozioni.
Vedere lo svolgersi della storia attraverso gli occhi di Mia e Nick, grazie ad un POV alternato, ha reso l’esperienza più intensa. Intenso è la parola giusta per descrivere questo libro, perché gli eventi e le emozioni sono portati a tale livello.
La storia è un crescendo e avvicinandomi alla fine i miei occhi sono diventati “a cuoricino” e il mio sorriso sempre più grande. Non voglio rivelare troppo, ma il mio cuore si è riempito di gioia.
Non voglio perdere un altro giorno. Ci sono così tante cose che non ho mai fatto. E voglio farle tutte insieme a te.
Terri George ha creato una trilogia fantastica, dove la storia e tutti i personaggi sono ben descritti e sviluppati. Lo stile e l’abilità di questa scrittrice di coinvolgere e intrattenere il lettore migliorano di libro in libro.
Chiudendo quest’ultimo libro ho provato quella sensazione di euforia e smarrimento che si ha quando leggi un libro che ti ha lasciato così tante emozioni che è persino difficile smaltirle.
Una trilogia sensuale, erotica, romantica, divertente, ricca di suspense. Lettori cari, assicuratevi di avere tutti e tre i libri perché una volta iniziato il primo libro non riuscirete e smettere.

OMG, I don't give out 5 stars often but Letting Go is beyond well deserved... This was the perfect ending to Nick and Mia's love affair. I was borderline 4 staring this book, only for the lack heated sex scenes Ms George does so well. I would have loved a longer book with more heat, it just seemed the scenes were cut short right at the good bits. But alas I was over that by the end hence 5 stars.
1st let me say it is a must that you read this trilogy in number order or you will be lost, so much happened to Mia and Nick that you need that history for their future make sense.
The title of this book is perfect, but as I started I questioned whether Mia would be letting go of her her feelings for Nick and moving on or letting go of his indescretions shall we say and history and take him back. Very quickly it was obvious that she was moving on... with Mark. My heart just broke while my brain said Nick's as asshole and deserves it.
Moving on meant a kiss, but hours later 1 phone call changes everything for Mia. Aiden calls her with news of Nick in hospital after a fall, her world stops still. .. Aiden' s words stop her dead, next she knows she is bedside a seriously messed up Nick Frost.
Seeing both Nick's POV as well as Mia gave the thoughts behind what really happened during their breakup. But Mia must decide if taking Nick back is the right decision. He has hurt her so many times by hiding his past, if they are going to move forward he must come clean. With coming clean brings its own horrible guilt for Mia. So many questions she could have had answered if she gave him a chance instead of running off half cocked.
Moving forward comes with many decisions and feelings, and just when everything in their world is perfect, one more impulsively reaction pulls them apart yet again.... Happy Ending???? I'm not telling. But I'll leave this by saying I not only love Nick and Mia, but also Jen and Aiden.

Letting Go is the final book in the Frost Trilogy, a book I really couldn't wait to read as I was dying to see the finale of Mia & Nick love story .
If I loved the first two books this went beyond my expectation.
In Letting Go Mia and Nick’s secrets and lies were finally revealed bit by bit. At some point it was heartbreaking and painful and I feared that they were never going to find their happy ending.
Letting go of the past, the lies and the secrets for Nick and Mia it’s challenging, it means to move forward and trust each other.
In this book there are so many turns of events that I found myself lost in a whirlwind of emotions.
And to see the unfolding of their story through Mia and Nick’s alternate POV made the experience more intense. Yes, intense is the right word to describe this book, as all the feelings and the events are brought up to an intense level.
It’s a crescendo, and approaching the end my eyes went heart-shaped and my smile wider. I don’t want to reveal too much, but my heart swelled with joy.
Terri George has created an amazing trilogy, where the storyline and all the characters were fully developed. Closing the last book I had a real book hangover. Her writing and ability to engage and entertain the reader gets better throughout the three books.
Steamy, sexy, romantic, funny, suspenseful, heartbreaking. Readers, please be sure to have all the three books because you will not be able to stop reading.

I have loved this entire series, but this book by far was my favourite! You really must have read the first two books before this.
We join Mia and Nick as they go through a roller coaster ride of emotions. There's times when I would have liked to smack both characters, especially when they keep secrets from one another. Although in my eyes the couple are absolutely made for each other there were times when I feared the couple wouldn't make it. I really enjoyed how true to life their relationship is. Real life relationships aren't all plane sailing, they go through rough patches, and break ups. Nick and Mia certainly go through their fare share of bumps in the road.
Secrets are revealed and in the end this only makes Nick and Mia's relationship stronger. I loved every moment of this story. Terri George has done wonderfully with this book, I was quite frankly a mess whilst reading it from Crying to giggling to swooning. I would very much like my very own real life Nick Frost! Five stars from me! I can't wait for Jen and Aidens story now!

Terri George introduced us to Nick & Mia in Beguiled, tested their love in In Too Deep, and tied it all together beautifully in this final installment, Letting Go. The trilogy is packed full of emotion, steamy hot sex, and plenty of on-the-edge-of-your-seat drama you won’t see coming a mile away.

I absolutely love the book it made me happy, sad ,and feverish. Nick and Mia are perfect together they are so connected it's beautiful. But my only question is there gonna be a book for their best friends. I want to know if they end up getting together. I read all 3 books in 2 1/2 days I couldn't put it down I was so sucked in.

What do I say perfect end to a fantastic series. This book seemed set at a much quicker pace than the previous two. I wasn't ready for this story to end, and I did try to only read a little each night, although I'm sure I could have read it from the start to finish in one sitting. Well done Terri.

Terri George hooked me with the first book in this series. I've devoured the first two and devoured this one. I love these characters and this storyline.
