Flying and Dying

Rate this book
An irreverent kid is saved by flying. From a Cessna 150 to the captain’s seat of a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, he commits his career to serving others within his field. Captain Tom is at the pinnacle of his profession, traveling the globe, a social media influencer, and a health and fitness advocate. One night his life comes to a screeching halt when an undiagnosed heart defect triggers sudden cardiac arrest. After twenty minutes of CPR and seven defibrillator shocks, he is miraculously revived. Having had a profound afterlife experience, he returns to the living and reshapes his life to inspire others. No longer allowed to fly, he must forge a new path to complete his aviation legacy. “Flying and Dying” is the remarkable story of that journey.

Inspiring, Great Read

The author’s dramatic story comes to life in the pages of his very readable book. If you’ve ever wondered about life after death or what it’s like to be a commercial airline pilot, I highly recommend this book. You’ll come away changed.
