If you’re looking for something Christmasy, but also totally unhinged you’re gonna fucking love this book.
This step sibling romance starts out with a bang, Xera has been testing and he’s over it. He’s like you know what fuck it I’m just gonna murder your boyfriend. I mean, that seems only fair😂😂 so Roman ends up doing 10 years in prison. While he’s in there Xenas life low key falls apart and she becomes an addict.
Yeah, so Roman’s a little bit of a psychopath BUT HEAR ME OUT. Deep down he only wants to help her get better. And that’s why he goes and buys her a shock collar, don’t worry he make sure it has extra padding so it’s comfortable🤭 he’s gonna take you by surprise. I really didn’t think I was gonna love him and then all of a sudden he’s making her homemade chicken noodle soup and chasing her around outside in the snow. He’s just super tough and crazy on the outside. He’s also crazy on the inside though but he still stole my heart.
I loved that this was super dark, but still managed to have Christmas vibes because dark romance girls love Christmas too ya know 🎄
I ate this book up and I think you will too if you’re unhinged like me

This book drew me in because of the characters, particularly Xena. Luna did a fantastic job writing Xena's life. It was impossible not to connect with her narrative since it felt genuine and unfiltered.
The mere mention of Xena’s name immediately brings to surface her pain and it gives me goosebumps.
Then we have Roman one who navigates circumstances with what appears to be limiting
qualities derived from poor human experiences, and observe how he produces substantial results.
It’s impossible to measure the magnitude of feelings within him.
Luna submerges you into an intensified story with absolute no preparation for the plot twist.
Gotcha. lol
Christmas is a time to celebrate traditions, and for Xena and Roman, it is an experience that will forever transform their lives.
A word I will be adding to my vocabulary: penis-cillin.

Sometimes, you just need a good dark taboo romance, and this book definitely hits all those spots. Please be sure to check the trigger warnings before you start the journey.
This review will also contain spoilers, so read at your own risk. Normally, I try not to spoil the books I review, but I just have to talk about the unhinged madness that is Roman.
The book was 90% (insert corn emoji) and the characters couldn't be hotter. It's sometimes hard to create good chemistry with a short book, especially with how much “getting their freak on” happens during the 216 pages. Still, I think the author did a good job of building a foundation between Xena and Roman, and even having flashbacks of them together when they were younger helped build up the chemistry throughout the book.
I liked how I was able to connect to the characters in this story as well. One part that made me laugh out loud and feel a connection to Xena was when I got to chapter ten after Roman tried to lock her up in a room. She escaped and the girl's first thought was to go back into the house and make herself a cup of coffee, like damn girl me too because I can't get anything done without my morning cup of coffee. Plus I mean if Roman was my stalker, kidnapper…. I probably wouldn't run that far either because this man knows what he's doing if you catch my drift WINK WINK!
The story has a pretty good plot too for how quick the read was, Roman is an obsessive and possessive hunk of a man (picture Bill Skarsgard in his role in The Crow, and you'll start drooling and release his unhindgness is PERFECTLY OK!) who ends up killing his step sisters lover, well because he's in love with her… remember I did say taboo romance *shrug*.
After spending a ten-year stint in jail he is released and finds his way back to Xena…. Only to find out she is selling her body, and doing drugs. But Roman doesn't shame, no no, he's a good guy! He just wants to help get her clean and finally get back what was originally his.
He does put her through his own fucked up version of rehab which made me question when is there a line to be crossed with what I read?! Thankfully I haven't found that yet.
Xena can scream she hates him as much as she wants, but he saves her. Without our sweetie pie honey bunny Roman, she wouldn't have gotten much further in life, so while he is crazy, psychotic, and scary as fuck, he's the good guy in this story and you cannot tell me OTHERWISE.
So if you made it this far into my rambles, add this spicy unhinged taboo Christmas romance to your TBR! It releases on December 1st!

Frozen Obsession by Luna K. Wicked is a standalone dark taboo Christmas novella. This book has captured my attention from the beginning, the prologue is so dense and rich with their back story that will keep you at the edge of your seat! I absolutely loved the vibe and Luna’s immersive writing in a dark world. I promise, dark romance girlies this one is for you, as always check your TW. Ronan is more than a book boyfriend, with a naughty list of red flags he could light th sky red.
Xena is truly perfect for him, twisted and wicked.
This book puts a heavy accent on addiction and Luna has done a brilliant job highlighting the bad and the hard healing process. Yes this book finished in a HEA.
Audiobook: this is a duet-style production with the amazing voices of Blanca Frappier and E. Montoya, I will have to say that I can't wait to hear them in future projects. This was the perfect parting for these characters, they gave them so much life and uniquness. A perfect performance for a twisted taboo with the perfect happy ending.
I absolutely loved this book and o can’t wait to jump into more adventures that Luna has in store for us! She has very fast become a favorite!

This wasn't for me. It has great reviews, so it's definitely for some people. In my opinion is was very repetitive. I found numerous errors in punctuation and grammar. Characters said the same thing over and over (sometimes in back to back sentences). Idk, can't relate, didn't capture me, sped thru it, and I'm glad it's over.

I was sooooo shocked when he use it as lubricant and then how drastically the whole story changed..
Xena is a literal survivor; she has been through hell. The way she used pain to survive and other nefarious means... She knew she couldn't forget him, but she couldn't have him either.
I wanted to hunt down everyone with Roman.. Xena deserved love and Roman made sure she got that.
The way he healed her in his own twister way was an interesting ride. You'll cry that on that bathtub scene, too giggle at the snowball and collar scene and you'll agigtate as well.
This book will bring you every emotion and Luna did an amazing work on this. The dialogues and the emotions were clearly delivered by the writing and I can't wait for Fright night.. 😏😏😏

If you want a soul crushing panty moistening taboo dark romance holiday book, you’ve found your golden ticket in Luna’s latest masterpiece Frozen Obsession. Luna always blows my mind. My second of her books and this one hit me even harder than the last. Her ability to pull you into a story and so explicitly detail graphic scenes and grip your attention, whether they’re unaliving or spicy or portraying debilitating addiction or just thriller plot building moments, it’s all so impressive. Her writing is captivating. You are completely immersed from page one until the acknowledgements. She graphically explores such delicate taboo subjects with so much grace and so many details; her writing style calls to me. 200 pages, 500 pages… doesn’t matter it’ll never be enough. To say I loved this book is an understatement. I felt so many emotions, more than I thought possible in 200 pages. Luna is such a talented author. She will push the boundaries, she can spin a completely epic and complete plot in a novella, and good god she writes good spice. I loved this book. I had so many feelings about xena the entire book, that was new for me I’m usually focused on the MMC but xena stole the show for me.
I love this author. I’m so grateful the Instagram algorithm suggested this book to me because I binge read it in one sitting! It was incredible and dark and gutting and beautiful. A must read!

This is an unhinged, obsessive taboo Christmas novella (definitely on the unhinged side). Both main characters have some traumatic pasts and there are some heavy triggers, but by the end, Roman will probably find a spot on your book boyfriend list.
The audiobook was absolutely fantastic! This was my first time listening to both E. Montoya and Blanca Frappier, and let me tell you..it will definitely not be the last!
E. Montoya brought Roman's crazy ass to life so perfectly. He captured his transition from a completely unhinged killer to the sweet guy who makes chicken noodle soup for our FMC, Xena, and honestly, that made me love him even more. Yes he's unhinged, but at his core, he just wants the best for his stepsister, he just shows it in a very unique way. Roman is just a man who knows what he wants and will stop at nothing to get what he wants, like killing whoever puts a hand on his stepsister LOL
Without giving too much away, while step brother is away, Xenas life unfortunately goes to shit. Blanca Frappier captured the struggles of her addiction and her roller coaster of emotions phenomenally. I felt so bad for Xena and the shit she went through.
This was such a crazy, fun time and a perfect dark christmas story that will hook you from the start. I definitely recommend the audiobook to heighten the experience even more!

Now.. 10 years later Roman is a free man again and he is ready to break her, to put her back together exactly how he wants!
This book was the perfect mix of spice, darkness and my god.. THE PLOT TWIST!! 😱😱

Only to find out that his little snake is a druggie and a stripper. Roman breaks and sobers her up and making him her new drug.
But I’m left with questions about possibly another book on Fright night 🫠

Definitely a DARK romance! Make sure to read your triggers! It has some heavy content! But it was such an amazing read!
When everything is wrong but one person makes it ok. But it takes some work to get back to that person! So good!

Luna has done it again! This horror/ thriller/ suspense/ taboo romance is WILD! It had me cringing and anxious but also questioning my sanity and awwwing over Roman. He was so obsessed with Xena and it truly showed in how he went to lengths to care for her! This is not for the faint of heart but if you have no triggers then this is 1000% a book that needs to be picked up immediately!

This was a taboo, dark depraved Christmas novella. I don’t know what it’s is about me but the more unhinged and messed up a book is, the more I love it. Our FMC was feisty and our MMC was completely unhinged. I loved them both. Xena’s story really broke my heart. She did what she had to do to survive after everything fell apart. Roman? I love him. He was obsessive, possessive, and would literally kill for the woman he loves. This was an emotional roller coaster I didn’t want to get off of.
It gave us step siblings, touch her and 💀, morally black MMC, forced proximity, and second chance.

Frozen obsession is deeply satisfying. Not only is it packed with action, dripping in hot spicy scenes, but the relationships are ones you will not forget.

I really enjoyed every moment of this story, but if I had to pick a favourite thing about it, it’s the relationship between the MMC and FMC, Roman and Xena, they are step siblings, and boy, do they adore each other. The relationship is one that comes with a tale of blood and hardships, but they never back down. ROMAN IS EVERYTHING. He is possessive, obsessive, and intense, but the best kind.. he won’t stop until he gets what he wants, his Xena.

The main characters are Xena and Roman Delgado. They are step-siblings lusting for one another, which is where the dark and taboo begins. I adore the bad boy in Roman, I need more Roman!
Roman is so love with Xena and their intense & spicy relationship, he would do anything for Xena. He's the type of guy that will not hesitate to take you out, you know touch her and d*e type of guy.

Roman + Xena. Wow! What a wild pair of step-siblings! 😮💨 From the beginning, these two were obsessed with each other. Roman was a goner for Xena, and well, so is anyone if they touch her. Yikes.💀 This made for a super awkward and bloody Christmas, which landed Roman in prison and sent Xena into a deep, dark spiral. For 10 years of icy isolation, they went through some traumatic times, both together and apart. However, one constant obsession remains—their unconditional and unhinged love for each other.
After lots of turmoil, resistance, and intense moments of pure survival, these two broken souls finally find their way back to each other. I’ve named their ship “Rx” because I feel they are each other’s prescription for healing. R + X = ℞❤️🩹😭 Their healing consists of exploring pound town like absolute wild animals.🤭🥵🔥 But they also watch corny Hallmark movies with chicken noodle soup. 🥰 Goals? Um, actually yes. 😉 My top 2 LOLs: “Penis-cillin” & “Mr. Captain Save a Hoe” 💀🤣 Hilarious! Xena x Roman ❤️❤️❤️ they are so perfect together
Hey everybody welcome back to another audiobook review this book is absolutely amazing. I absolutely love taboo romance. I don’t think words can express how good Luna K Wicked, did writing this book and how good our narrators were in this book. I cannot put this audio down whenever I was listening to it. There is just so many ups and downs for both of our main characters in this book but at the end of it, They do come out on top and they have an HEA. Like I said earlier, I absolutely love a taboo romance. I love step siblings and foster siblings when it comes to taboo romance so whenever I got the early listen for this, I was so happy because I really really really wanted this one. Xena and Roman were just the perfect step-sibling couple, this book had everything I wanted it when it came to stepsibling taboo romance it had the forbidden nature of it, one pushing really, really hard for while the other one wanted it, but it was also thinking kinda logically and knowing that they shouldn’t, but but I think another day they were already too far gone and they knew that third step ceiling was there. They knew they were gonna end up with their steps so when they knew that they’re in love with their steps so they just didn’t care about it logically not being impossible! I highly recommend that if you love taboo romance, specifically stepsibling taboo Romance you have to check out frozen obsession by Luna K wicked! It was just so good. It’s a very quick lesson and it’s probably one of the most spiciest taboo romances that I’ve read this year.

My experience with this story was far from what I anticipated. Honestly, it wasn't for me, although it was well written.

This is for the ones who’ve wished their Hallmark Christmas movie was darker..
This sums up my life perfectly. I’ve never been one for Hallmark movies during Christmas time.. I know, I know, I’m one of those that can’t stand them. But Frozen Obsession is definitely a dark hallmark movie. This novella has extreme moments of erotic horror between step siblings, a very common taboo that is starting to become one of my favorite taboo themes 😈
Roman is an obsessive and unhinged character that will not let his “little sister” Xena go. Xena is also as deranged and messed up as he is, loving and craving him as well. This relationship is the focus of the book, but has results and consequences due to this forbidden love that unfolds.
If you’ve had a weird and strange desire to read a taboo of a step sibling, fu€ked up yet uncomfortably hot Christmas story, then you’ve just found it in Frozen Obsession. Make sure you have a bowl of chicken noddle soup and some Christmas lights while you’re thrown into this Novella, and I know you won’t be disappointed with this one 💋

Roman and Xena are step siblings. In their teens, they both become attracted to each other, except they are trying to fight it until each gives in. However, it reaches the obsession level of MINE and MINE only for Roman. He's crazed enough to unalive her current boyfriend while that boyfriend was in the midst of smeggsy. Roman is sentenced to 10 years in prison. This sentence then breaks apart their family and leave Xena alone eventually with neither parent. When Roman is released, he comes back for Xena, but she's messed up with drugs. Roman is then on a mission to fix it and be with her.
Their smeggsy is spicy and very forbidden. Xena and Roman's past will catch up with them during this time. I enjoyed this book even with all the trigger warnings after reading them. The author left the ending of the book to possibly continue into a new series, which sounds full of suspense and mystery for the couple. I can't wait.

Again, Luna, amazing work! Absolutely amazing!
When you want a dark book, you have to read Luna’s books. They are dark and they will be your life, you will devour them
So this book is dark yes but at the same time, you will forget the other world, you just live in this world and nothing more is existing. It is so relaxing to be able to just dive into stories. No matter how dark it is or isn’t, Luna has that ability to make you live in the books world and i am so thankfull to be able to read her books! I honestly was expecting that it is snowing outside because of how deeply i lived this book
Xena, she has a hard life, so she is trying to numb herself. When she couldn’t love chirstmas anymore, that felt awful! I am a christmas girlie and i can’t imagine my life without it!
Roman, well hello there hottie! He is unhinged, possessive and violent but he also loves with everything he has, so you know how i feel about that! Yummy
