The stakes are higher than ever as the Aos Sí train their troops and develop their battle strategies. Lorcan and the other Shadow Weavers work to integrate themselves into Aos Sí society, adding their special skills and unlocking an advantage the Fae didn’t know they held. A mission to rescue a small group of Shadow Weavers left behind at the Fomori Stronghold adds another obstacle, but also uncovers new allies.
Áine and Lir embark on a perilous quest to petition help from their gods. The familiars must retrieve a powerful relic from each of the four elemental Clans to stand any chance of success. Even if they are able to complete their journey to the Islands of the Gods, convincing the deities to help may still prove beyond them.
With the looming threat of chaos magic and Balor's insidious plans, both Fae and the questing familiars race against time, as they prepare for an epic battle that will determine the future of their world.
The monsters are still coming. Now, get ready to meet the gods.
OMG my favourite familiars are at it again! Áine is such a sassy little phoenix that I cackle at everything that comes out of her mouth! Oh boy and did I forget how kinky our sweet cinnamon roll MMC is. Calder just fucking undoes me. 🫠 But he isn’t the only one we get to witness unleashing themselves 😉.
I honestly loved this as a conclusion for the series and how much all the characters grew. I just continued to fall further in love with them even though I swear this whole series is a guide book on how men should not act towards their girls, cause every single one of these boys fucked up and spent a good chunk of these books grovelling. 🤣 I mean they didn’t have much choice or they would face the wrath of a fiery phoenix!
Thank you MA Kilpatrick for this wonderful journey of good vs evil full of Irish folklore and Irish men. 😉
Having enjoyed this series I was left in wondering what I was reading in this book. There were so many things going on all at once that it made it hard to follow. Plus there was random stuff that felt unnecessary.
I honestly thought the final battle would have been more epic. I loved how the story ended but I felt like this book was not organized and done to the caliber I expected.
Again I loved the ending but I feel getting there and the final battle were lacking. 3.5 stars
Hallowed Elements was just as good as Hidden and Hunted Elements and just as quirky. Every time I read something funny, I couldn't help but laugh. Aine has become my favorite character because she's not only quirky but also brutally honest. There's suspense around every corner, and every time I finished a chapter, I had to read more to see what happened next. Hallowed Elements kept me on the edge of my seat until the very last page.
You can be smarter than the monsters/villains but bigger is bigger so bring out the magic if the gods! As with books 1 & 2, there is action paired with plot to keep you reading. The Characters haven’t lost any of their heroism and after all that’s what keeps AOS Si going.
I enjoyed this. It was funny. I loved seeing the characters grow throughout this series. This was a good ending to the series. I love reading about different cultures. The Irish folklore was fun one to dive into. Loved this series
