ARC provided by Author for an honest review.

4 - 4.5 DAMAGED & FLAWED STARS

Thank you Nora for the opportunity to read Flawed Body Rock . But you left me with more questions.

This story picks up the morning after the end of Slow Body Rock , where Lola is now a full fledged Rock Star and the girlfriend/obsession of Drezden "Drez" Halifax.

description

But with that has come some challenges. She finally has something for herself that she can be happy about and everyone except Drez is making it ugly. Her brother, Sean, doesn't understand why Lola's free time isn't spent with him. Crazed female fans are angry that she's with Drez, to the point of dangerous behavior. Lola is learning there can be a negative side to fame and success. Not everyone will be happy for you when your dreams come true.

"Lots of people find it easy to hate a girl who has it all, especially if they thing she doesn't deserve it."
~ Brenda

But if anyone does deserve to have it all, it's Lola.

Drez is trying to balance his obsession/desire to have Lola only thinking about him and his desire to continue to drive his band to success. His thoughts, which are usually 100% focused on the success of his band, are now split with his desire to be everything to and for Lola. And their chemistry is off the charts. When he looks at Lola, everything else in the room disappears.

description

"I want the whole god damn world to know about Lola and me."
~ Drezden

description

They both have secrets to share. Lola starts to open up and share hers, but Drez just makes more.

I love the writing. I think Nora has an amazing way of being lyrical at the same time telling a story that's kind of dark. These people are damaged in a lot of ways, which is probably what they see in each other. But I think what they see can also bring them out of the darkness if they just open up to each other. Lola has started the process. I don't know if Drez will ever be ready for that.

I love that Lola seems to be gaining more confidence in her performance no matter what her brother or the enraged fans throw at her. She just keeps getting better and better, showing she was the right and best choice for the band and Drez.

We got a little more insight into Drez and what his past entails. He's had a hard life, which is why I think he's so driven. Something caused that drive and hopefully we will find out more in the next installment.

I didn't give this one a full 5 stars because, although I love the writing and it drew me in, I felt like this was a bridge story to more things to come.

I'm a happy camper once again! I really love some of these shorter serials!!!! This is definitely one of them. I will keep it short and sweet just like these books... well maybe not really sweet, lol. Lola gets to perform in this one, she learns that all that glitters isn't gold, and that fame can definitely have its ugly side. I even kind of liked Brenda by the end of this one. If nothing else I think I get her. Sean looks real suspect. Drezden is hiding a massive amount of heavy. So needless to say this one was extremely entertaining. As I've said previously, I'm still loving the way that Nora puts words on paper! It's so pretty! On to the next...

I got this book from the author for an honest review.
I loved the first 2 books in the series and this did not disappoint. Drez and Lola want to be together and it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. With rabid fans against Lola can the 2 fated souls make it work? Lola finally shares her demons with Drez but he is not ready to tell her about his past. I can not get enough of Four and a Half Headstones! It just leaves me wanting more!

am absolutely loving this series. It just keeps getting better and better. And I keep falling in love with Drezden Halifax a little more each time.

Flawed Body Rock picks up exactly where we left off with Slow Body Rock. Drez and Lola have finally given into their feelings of lust and passion for each other. But now it is time to face the world. Drez and Lola are so good together and I think their feelings for each other go beyond passion and lust but neither is at the point of admitting that just yet. They only know each other a few days and they both have a past filled with secrets. Right now they are happy with each other but the people around them are not sharing that happiness with them. Drez and Lola have to now deal with eh consequences of them being teeter, something that niter of them are willing to hide from the world.

From a manger who wants to cover it all up, to their band members who are concerned what this will mean for them to a brother who cannot understand why his sister is spending more time with the lead singer of her band than him. Oh and let's not forget about the raving female fans who are not exactly happy about losing "their Drez" to someone like Lola. As much as these two want to be with each other it is not going to be an easy ride.

One of the things that I love is Drez and his need to protect Lola n every way that he can. Lola starts to open up a little more to Drez about her past and he never judges her but instead wants to comfort her. Drez has his own demons and Lola wants to hear about his demons but sharing his story is not something that he is ready for just yet. I love Lola and with time I think she becoes more confident and believes that she deserves it all.

There are still many questions that are left unanswered. I cannot wait to know what happened in Drezden's past. And I also want know what is the deal with Sen, Lola's brother. I tend to think there is a little more going on there than we know. And while I may have my own theories I am very curious to see how this all plays out. This series is a must read. Drez will completely knock your socks off. He is a sexy rock star with a heart. I love his passion for Lola and hNora Flite does an amazing job with this story. Because while Drez and Lola may be living the rock star life right now, there are some deeper issues that these two have to face from their past. This series is a must read!! Cannot wait to see what comes next!

I received an advanced reader's copy of this book for an honest review and I have only one word...YES! I was captivated from the very first book in this series...the story of Lola and her sudden rise to fame as she auditions and lands the coveted role of new guitarist for a band that she has idolized since she was a teen. Well not only did she get the gig, but the eye and affections of the hot lead singer Drezden and when they finally give in to their physical desires at the end of the second book, this third installment picks up right at the morning after!
Do they have regrets? Will her brother Sean accept and support them? What about all the crazy fans who hate her for replacing the old guitarist as well as the dangerously unstable dude himself? And let's not forget all the psycho crazy groupies who all want a piece of Drezden and are seething with anger and jealousy for the gorgeous and very talented Lola. You are just going to have to read it to find out!
I loved this book because it really deals mostly with them...the couple and their new and very fragile relationship both on and off the stage. Lola finally opens up about her past and wonders if it will turn Drez off and make him regret their night together. Only time will tell if these two can survive amidst some scary personal attacks (both verbal and physical), family ties and past issues causing drama and the promise of a new creative partnership. Anxious to get to the next chapter of this cool rock love story =)

I absolutely love Drezden Halifax! This book was way too short!! I have had the privilege of getting yet again an ARC of this book. It picked up right where the last one left off and I was hooked! I loved how the author just jumped right in and dug into the deep set demons each of the characters had. The way tht Drezden became so very involved with Lola's well being right away way awesome. He has such deep feelings for her and he struggles with how to deal with them. His past is haunting him and keeping secrets seems to be his story. I can't wait o dive into the depth of his past and story. There is definitely family issues that he has hidden deep. Lola's story revealing herself was necessary. It allowed us to see where her issues lie. I live that his story stems around bullying in its true form and how she struggles to overcome her own demons. It was beautiful yo hear her lean in dreams tell hi her story. It was also interesting to see another side to her brother Sean. I also think there is more story yo him as well. This book resolved the relationship between Lola and Drezden and showed just how deep their connection is so quickly. You could feel the genuine passion between them oh and the sex was hot sexy and loving! I loved this book so much. The only problem is I have to wait for the next one! I highly recommend this book yo all who love a sexy rock star story❤️

I was thrilled to receive a copy of this book from the author and I've just read the final pages.
I adore being plunged into this world with Lola & Drezden, they are wonderful characters; lovingly and skillfully crafted in such a way that you feel that you're squeezed into their skinny jeans with them.

The intensity and passion of Drez is so raw and overwhelming it's tangible, I certainly have hoped my whole life to be loved this way.
The stories are at their most irresistible when he is centre-stage - both literally and metaphorically - his charisma is iridescent.

Lola is both extremely lovable & intriguing in her own right. I'm delighted to read a series where not only is a woman an incredible lead guitarist but that she is so relatable, likable and warm.
Special mention must go to Porter & Colt who add a delightful dollop of mischievous charm to the books.

I did feel that this story did serve as something of a bridge, but it was necessary to build upon our knowledge of the characters before we continue our journey with them.
I find I can hardly wait until we hit the road again with Four and a Half Headstones...

Yay!!! They're back! I really am enjoying this series; it's a fast paced fun read. There's something so like able about all these characters that you can't help but root for them. Even the cranky pants manager has become human to me.

I struggled a bit in this particular book however with how fast they moved from nothing to relationship BUT at the same time I also had the flu and was sitting in a doctors office waiting as I read (there by maybe not fully as functional as I could be) and they are young so it worked out fine. The writing itself is great and a lot of plot twists were introduced in this book!!! I got the feeling this book was much about introducing those twists honestly. I can not wait to see how it all works out.

Side note: I REALLY want Lola to own that female guitarist thing!!! One so rarely see females in such roles, especially in a "boy band" I want her to just be the bad ass she can be and own both him and the groupies.... Because someone needs to put them ***beeeeeeep's*** in their place and what better way then being awesomer then awesome!!! :-)

I was gifted this book by the author for an honest review. Wow this is another great addition in the Body Rock series. And wow how hot is the picture on the front cover, I can imagine Dresden looking like that. Lola and Dresden have connected with each other but being together causes other obstacles for their careers for the band and for Lola and her brother. In Flawed Body Rock it was nice to see the sweeter side of Dresden and the acceptance that he sees his feelings for Lola are growing stronger. There are still many haunting secrets from the past that are bubbling under the surface that they both need to share, but could they get past them and would they still want to be together, only time can tell. There are so many obstacles that they need to get through but will it be at the risk of the band and their hearts. Another great book, but I need more. Can't wait until the next one, please be soon.

The passionate and intense story of Drezden and Lola continues!

Everything in Lolas life is happening at the speed of light. Not only has she become famous pretty much overnight, but she is also starting a relationship with the man who pulled her back from the brink of despair. Unfortunately with the good comes the bad. Some fans hate her for her involvement with Drez and become threatening and her brother is mad because her attention has been elsewhere. She finally comes clean about her past and we get to learn a little more about her.

Drezden too is battling some issues of his own. He is overcome with a need to be everything to Lola. His band confronts him about her, and he is still struggling with telling her about his own dark past.

With every passing moment they become more and more tangled up in each other. I can't with to see what happens next!

If you have been following this series, all I can say is OMG! Drezden and Lola's journey kicks into high gear in this book. Nothing is ever easy or smooth for them, and I think that is what makes them so incredible. For every step forward on their journey, they seem to have to get kicked back a few. This book does not disappoint! In this one, we learn more about the demons Lola is carrying, and we get to understand more about the bond between her and Sean. We also get to see what life is like for her once everyone knows who she is. It is a gripping page turner for sure! My only complaint is that just when your guts are all tied up, the story is over. I cannot wait to see what paths Nora takes us on next! Absolutely a must read!

I received it in exchange of an honest review!!! The continuation of Drezden and Lola's story!!! As addictive, as wonderful but so much hotter than the previous two!!!!! God I love this series!!!! The characters are so tormented, sexy and with wild souls that you can't help but to adore them! The chemistry between them is just so hot that some chilies can go hide!!! But the story and the way the author makes you live it all is what makes those books so addictive!!! I would rather have them all in one book because the cliffhangers are taking their tolls on my heart ! I can't wait to see what's going to happen!!! Nora Flite Two Thumbs Up!!!! Like always your story rocked my world!!!

I love this series so much. Lola is trying to deal with the demons of her past. She was bullied all her life because she was an unwanted pregnancy. Now she's being bullied again by Drez's jealous fans. Lola finally comes clean with the truth to her manager Brenda and to Drez. Poor Drez just wants Lola happy and protected and accepted by his fans. Drez sneaks off and meets with her brother Sean to convince him not to shut Lola out. He knows it's tearing her up inside because she loves him so much. Cannot wait for the next book. This is a great series. I just wish Drez would tell Lola the truth about his own messed up past soon.

Damn, i need more Drez! Some people may think his obsession with Lola to be bad, all i can say is I want that. Yes it can be overbearing but it a comfort knowing someone would do anything and I mean anything for you. I love that they are not hiding their relationship from anyone. Their love or lust is a total whirlwind romance. It can happen so quick but when you find a kindred soul you dont want to let go. Porter and Colt are still the funny duo and I hope their is a story to them down the line! I hope in the next installment that Drez finally opens up to Lola. We got to glinpse her past and I hope we get to see his. Nora, another 5 star read and yes im binge reading your books ;)

I received this complimentary copy for a honest review.

I love this story. The development of Drez and Lola is do wonderful. They have both come so far and both have such darkness in their past. The harshness of Drez and the sweetness of Lola is just great chemistry.

To watch Lola come from her past and move forward then to have obstacles placed in her cash to try and overcome them the right way just shows her true strength.

I can not edit god more of this story. 5 stars is truly not enough.

With patience comes great reward. That is definitely proven when reading this series. Through this book I feel like I finally have a clear picture of both Drezden and Lola. What she went through (and what it seems he went through) was terribly unfair. I really like how this author writes. I was completely absorbed right until the cutoff. I like how the music is such an integral part of each piece of the story. I feel like there is so much more story to read. Hopefully I'm left satisfied with the next and last book. Ciao!

This book was fantastic I just adore this series but Jesus it was no way near long enough it finished too quickly, and we didn't get to find anything really about Drez we only got tidbits.

We found out more about Lola which was good to see why she was so close to her brother Sean.

I think he's going to cause a lot of problems between Drez and Lola

I so can't wait for the next book, which is why this series is so good because I always want more don't want this series to end.

I love this series Body Rock!!! It is such a fun read. The books aren't long. Each book seems to be take place over a day or so. The romance that has bloomed from Drez and Lola is HOT!!! Im dying to learn more about their pasts, and see how all this comes together with the Band getting more popular. I can't wait to see where this story goes!!!

I made the mistake of reading all four books in the series before reviewing, therefore, it's almost impossible for me to review each book individually. Steamy, angsty, all-consuming; the entire Body Rock series is so good that I couldn't take the time to review before moving on to the next title. I read them... Bam! Bam! Bam! I HAD to know what was going to happen next. The characters, the plot, everything, just kept calling to me until I was done. With this in mind, know that I've included this review on each of the four books.

Lola Cooper's brother is the lead guitarist for a lesser-known band that's opening for the wildly popular, Four and a Half Headstones. She's been acting as a roadie for her brother's band while they're on tour, and the two of them have always been incredibly close. When the Headstone's guitarist is booted from the band for messing up one too many times, Lola's brother encourages her to audition for the position. A kick-ass guitarist in her own right, Lola is determined to make her brother proud, after all, he's the one who taught her everything she knows, besides, Four and a Half Headstones is her favorite band.

I loved, loved, loved Lola! She was a bit on the timid side in the beginning but, when the time came, the girl could definitely hold her own. All she wants to do is be a guitarist in a famous rock band but fame isn't as great as she thought it would be. Not only is she being pursued by the lead singer of her own band, his fangirls are out to get her, too.

Drezden Halifax, the lead singer for Four and a Half Headstones, is a major hard-ass and doesn't take any crap from anyone. Suffering through a tough childhood, he runs Four and a Half Headstones with an iron fist. When the small, fragile-looking girl shows up to audition for him, he's skeptical. When she blows him, and his fellow band members away, they're all relieved that they can continue on their tour with no problem. Unfortunately, Drez is soon consumed with Lola and won't rest until she's his. Everything comes second to his lust for her, even his band, and he'll do anything to keep her with him.

Lots of angst, hot guys and steamy sex, make the Body Rock series a must-read for any fan of rock star romance.

Okay the good: I really am invested in these characters now- Lola and Drez And just as I'm getting to the goods with crazy girl fans hating on Lola as her and Drez connect in a public way and in a way fans don't like or wanna hear to the point of slashing a tire to a car-Lola And her manager are in And a crazy ex-guitarist on the loose and possibly looking to cause Lola harm and Lolas past coming out and Drez hiding his..I Am invested! Now to what I DON'T LIKE:I thought I bought a complete series here- All three books could have easily been one- They were like short tasty lil morsels that abruptly cut off and left me hanging for the next..I thought book 3 was the end and now I have to wait til May??( I know- I know.. NOT.that.far.away).. BUT I read ALOT and I don't wanna lose my connection to these characters that I've invested in..I will however read it- but I'm So not a fan of cliffys and A heads up would sure be appreciated- I just hope this last version is a little longer full blown sum up of everything that is Lola and Drez And their whole fiasco with an AWESOME Hea..hopefully.

After giving into their desires and falling into bed together Drez and Lola discover they are perfect together. The band is playing better than ever, and their shows are brilliant. Except not every fan is happy with their blatant affair. Stalkers become an issue and troubles from the past come back full blast to make matters worse. Growing into a new relationship while dealing with fame and its demands is hard on Lola and Drez. The intensity of his feelings for her only grows and his responses to the issues they face, are as intense as the man himself.

Another enjoyable read but I'm very disappointed that the story of Drezden and Lola is not complete after 3 books. All three books were quite short and I really think that they could've been condensed. If the 4th book is the last in their story then I definitely think it should have only been a 2 book series.

How cute is Drezden!! He absolutely adores Lola and can't get enough of her. They've both had a hard upbringing which Lola has finally opened up to Drez about. Hopefully Drezden is comfortable enough to open up to Lola before something bad happens. I can sense something bad is going to go down in the next book.
