Talena damn!! I can't believe you got me all excited about this read, just to leave me breathless at the end AGAIN!!🤬 Ughhh.....
Anywho, who thought Zane could get anymore ruthless than he already was. He is not playing with anyone and is ready to take over the world! That revelation with Lucien did nothing to sway his resolve. He still wants to put a bullet in his head! They know what it is, the game is the game. 🤷🏾♀️
Miss Laura, I kinda get it, but this man is a stranger to you. He has had many years to build up resentment, hate, and whatever else he feels for you at this point. Just take that L!! Also, he is the same person who took out YOUR husband, and you begging him to be in yo life? 👀😤 Consistently putting yourself in danger by doing so. I just can't with you!! 🤯
We bout to see another side of Lucien, now that Netta has entered the party. They have released the beast whether they know it or not. Okay, can we have someone take out Diane? She is a pain in everyone's ass and needs to get gone! 🤬 I can't imagine how this all plays out moving forward. Kane will now have to get involved, as he will not leave his brother out there alone. Abel will always be in the shadows to assist his boys. Will the Santiago brothers have to all work together to win? This war with the Haitians is bout to get real, and I'm here for it. 👍🏾👍🏾

Zane & Laura struggled in this read. I can't begin to imagine how difficult this is for a Mama's boy! Zane always wanted to be seen and approved of by his family. As the head of the family now, he will stand on business! PERIODT! 💯 Even if it means some toes will be stepped on.
Laura experienced a reoccurring hurt like no other. The loss of a child at birth; but will she lose one or two of her sons this go round? Unfortunately, Laura's loss was not the only loss experienced. Zane continues to come into his own, but at what price?
Talena wrote this action-packed novella with so much drama, love, and conviction for everyone to stand on their truth! 💜💚💛

— I was wondering what my girl Netta been up to but now we know. — I’m ready for someone to touch Diane because she getting on my nerves.
— Another cliffhanger. Now off to read The Santiagos. Hopefully questions are answered.

I’m going to make this a 2 in 1 review. I️ love me some Talena! Suh knows how to write a novella! And imma eat it up every time! Zane is a spin-off/continuation of Kane’s story. If you read Kane’s story then you should already know how Zane’s story is going to be. When I️ say action packed w/sprinkles of the love between him & Aliyah, I️ mean action packed. I️ don’t wanna say to much and give it away but I’ll say this:
- the plot twist are twisting
- Laura is doing A LOT, but I️ understand her reasoning even tho it’s dangerous af
- Abel is truly an interesting man
- Diane gotta go & expeditiously
- I’m curious to see what’s going to happen with the dynamics of the brothers (all 3 of them)
My goodness I️ can’t wait for the next installment!

Diane was relentless in trying to avenge her biological son’s death. Zane is known for his reckless behavior, but he wasn’t being reckless this once regarding how to handle the news he found out about from his mother, Laura’s past. No matter the route he chose, it’ll be consequences and he was stuck on what to do. Listen, Laura didn’t listen at all she was like, “I’m mama bear and I do what I want”. Lucian, Lucian… I have a feeling your redemption is coming. Another cliffhanger… I am on edge and ready!

Is it crack she puts in these books? Yes, oh my. On the edge of my seat. Got damn this was good. Ms. Tillman says in her authors note she will make it to the big screen and I couldn’t agree more. Can’t wait for the next installment. Lucian… you might just redeem yourself … IF Zane lets you live 🥴😬😂😂

I loved Zane’s book so much! Another action pack series! I wasn’t expecting the surprise at the ending, as well as the cameo from Netta! Looking forward to see how they handle this in the next book! Will they be able to work together or will their pride get in the way! Talena writing is just top tier!!!

Zane got on my last nerve! I get he is an alpha male, but dang!!!! You lost your pops, dont be disrespectful to your only living parent. I think Laura should have had a conversation with the child she was forced to give up. Maybe Zane was a little jealous mixed with hurt, but Jr. Didn't know that was his father! I know that the next book is going to be too good.

Sensational. This series has been nothing but fire. I'm loving all of the plot twists and action. I can't wait to see what's next. Hearing about Kane coming out of retirement has me super excited! I did not see that ending coming. Zane is a force to be reckoned with!

This is an amazing story that takes you on a wild adventure full of twists, turns and secrets that will keep you on the edge of your seat. It does end with a cliffhanger, but this author is fast on releasing the next book.

However Netta can't be collateral damage. It will destory Serenity.
