A thoroughly delightful holiday season read!

It’s got a certain “White Christmas” (as in the 1954 film) vibe but with enough Nicholas Sparks for the contemporary romance connoisseur. The second book by K. Marlowe that I’ve read… and I’m starting to see that she has a very warm, genuine style of writing that’s becoming addictive. Treat yourself this Christmas! Read “A Swipe Under the Mistletoe.”

This book was exactly what I needed for the Christmas season. It was warm, fun, and flirty. The love triangle was perfectly done and unexpected. Hannah's journey navigating her online dating app while searching for investors and the perfect match was easy to fall into. It is a cozy read best enjoyed with a warm cup of cocoa and a blanket.

I struggled with this one. While the premise is a quick, cozy read, I just struggled with the repetitive scenes and sentences. I feel like the editing missed some key things that would help clean up the story a bit. The flow was a bit choppy for my preference.
