Tom, a man struggling with childhood trauma, tries to find peace by keeping the world around him perfectly organized, especially through his free yard work. His need for control stems from a past where messes led to harsh punishment, and now, as an adult, he feels calm only when everything is neat. But his actions begin to raise suspicion, and he worries people will start questioning why he’s so obsessed with cleaning. His relationship with his partner, Eric—who has his own painful past—is tested further when Tom discovers a dead body in one of the yards he cleans. As the pressure builds, the line between his need for order and the chaos he fears begins to blur, forcing him to face his past and the secrets around him.
