This collection will carry you away without ever having to pack a bag.

Titles Include:

Sarah Woodbury - Daughter Of Time (After Cilmeri #0.5)

Daughter of Time tells the story of a young widow, Meg, healing from the pain of a brief, unhappy marriage, who falls through time into the Middle Ages-and into the arms of Llywelyn ap Gruffydd, the last Prince of Wales. He saves her, and she in turn saves him, thanks to her knowledge of future events.

Although powerful forces seek to divide them, by working together, Meg and Llywelyn have a chance to navigate the dangerous and shifting alliances that constantly undermine his rule and threaten the very existence of Wales - and to create a future in which Llywelyn's death does not come too soon.

Cassidy Cayman - Lost Highlander (Lost Highlander #1)

Grad student and cocktail waitress Evelyn Merkholtz has plenty to deal with. Too much to deal with. So, when her runaway best friend calls with a mysterious and urgent request to join her in Scotland, she is secretly more than happy to drop everything and oblige.

She's faced with an ancient curse, an adorably hunky villager, and a super hot (but possibly murderous), Highland warrior from the 18th century - and realizes that getting burned at the stake is a really bad way to get out of writing her thesis.

Ranay James - The Beginning (The McKinnon Legends #1)

"Nic, my friend, you think Fate's a bitch? Just wait until you meet her sister Destiny." - Connor Holden, Earl of Featherstone

Every story has a beginning often driven by Fate. With The McKinnon Legends that beginning starts with Nic McKinnon and his unconventional bride, Morgan Pembridge, Seventh Duchess of Seabridge.

Not your typical Knight in Shining Armor - Damsel In Distress story, The Beginning starts the reader on a journey of deep love, treachery, and mystery of the way time and space collide with characters that are believable. Staged initially in the late fifteenth century this love affair sets the foundation for an amazingly strong and solid family legacy spanning centuries in an eight volume series.

Angeline Fortin - A Laird For All Time

After ten long years of education and residency, Dr. Emmy MacKenzie feels the time is long overdue for a vacation. A little “me” time. A little alone time. But when traveling the British Isles, a twist of fate at the gates of the ancient castle of Duart hurls Emmy more a hundred years into the past and into the arms of a magnificent highlander who thinks she is his long-lost wife, Heather MacLean!

The ten years since his new bride abandoned him on his wedding day had brought Connor MacLean, earl Strathclyde, nothing but misery and bitterness but that is nothing compared to the anger he feels when she shows up at his front gates on the 10th anniversary of that day. Determined to punish her for the humiliations she dealt him, he is shocked when his wife claims mistaken identity and insists that she is not his wife at all! Endeavoring to cling to his anger, Connor finds he cannot deny the new attraction he feels for his mysterious wife and soon he is wanting nothing more than to take her in his arms and make her his.

With no choice but to play the part of the long lost Heather MacLean, Emmy cannot help but wonder how any woman could ever leave Connor MacLean, a man unlike any she had ever known. A man who thrills and challenges her. A man to love forever. Questions of destiny plague Emmy making her question her very life as she wavers between the desire to return to her own time and the hope for a life with her earl. She begins to question what she really wants out of life. And who can give it to her.

But Emmy’s isn't the only secret lurking in Duart Castle. Painful secrets will be revealed. Not only hers but that of another. When the truth of Heather MacLean’s disappearance comes to light more than Connor’s life might be destroyed. Choices will have to be made. Forgiveness begged. Second chances taken not just for the people of Duart, but for Emmy herself.

But will she risk it all to have her laird for all time?

Monique Martin - Out Of Time (Out Of Time #1)

Professor Simon Cross has spent his life searching for evidence of vampires and avoiding emotional entanglements. When a mysterious accident transports Simon and his new assistant, Elizabeth West, back in time, Simon finally finds both the proof that he's been looking for, and the romance that he hasn't.

In 1920s Manhattan, they find that are more than mobsters vying for power in the city's speakeasies. Will Simon and Elizabeth's developing relationship survive the vampires' teeth? Will they survive to make it back? Or will they be forever out of time?

E.B. Brown - Legend of The Blood Stone (Time Walkers #1)

In 2012, a woman cuts her hand and picks up a strange colored stone - Suddenly she is staring into the eyes of an angry Powhatan warrior. And the only town nearby is Jamestown, circa 1622.

Maggie McMillan wakes up one day as a college student, yet ends the day in 1622. Captured by Winn, a warrior who is torn between his duty to kill her and his desire to keep her, she is thrust into a life she had only read about in history books.

As they battle against each other and the message she brings from the future, she must decide whether to return to her own time, or to make a life in the past with the man who holds her heart captive.

i was given this copy by Ranay James (The McKinnon) for review and i thank her for that :-)
a box set, of time travel romances, some better than others.

Daughter of Time..3 stars.
this had been languishing on my kindle for some time, and i had not read it. i found it okay, far too much history for me, but different in that its not Scotland, its Wales. possibly i will go onto read the rest of the series, maybe not.

Lost Highlander....4 stars
better, and different in that HE comes forward, rahter than she goes back. cute tale, next one is on my wish list.

A Laird for all Time...4 stars
again, a good tale, with some twists i did not see coming, steamier too! :-P

Out Of Time....4 stars
another book thats been sitting waiting to be read. very good, a twist with the vampire in, but this is secondary to the time travel. next book also on wish list.

Legend of the Bloodstone....3 stars
was okay, got a bit bored midway through though.

and finally....

The McKinnon!! 5 shiney stars!
ive read this before, and gave it four stars, see here for that review https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

the book has had a little tweaking, not to the plot, or general story line, just a bit here and there and boy does it make a difference! im sitting there, reading this, and discussing with my 18yr old daughter whats changed and the little tweaks have really just made it perfect!

all in all, a good solid four star box set, some hits and some misses but for the price of 77p/99c a bargain!

I love time travel books. I had read two of these stories before but when I saw the collection for only $0.99 I couldn’t pass it up. I am pleased with my purchase. This would be a good choice to load onto my device if I knew I was going to be in a lot of airports or taking long ferry or train rides. Here is the breakdown of my opinions.

Daughter of Time by Sarah Woodbury- a weak 3 stars- I usually love time travel books, but all time travel books have one obstacle to overcome- making the time travel portion of the story believable. This book doesn't do a great job of convincing me of the time travel. The story starts off okay then it sort of fizzles for a bit. The ending was a surprise though.

Lost Highlander by Cassidy Cayman- 3 stars- This book was different. I am so accustomed to time travel stories where a woman travel back in time and falls in love and stays. The time traveler is a man and he comes from the past to our present. Then the main couple isn’t even the time traveler but rather two people in the present. Oh, there is a little romance thing with the time traveler too but it isn’t really the love story that I read. I want to say more but I think it would spoil it for those that haven’t read it. There is a happy ending but not at all what I expected. Another fun read.

The McKinnon-The Beginning by Ranay James- 3 stars- This book is in a time travel collection but 95% of it is just a historical romance. The time traveler is not a mainstay and the fact that she is a time traveler isn’t even mentioned until the end. For a romance with a historical setting I really enjoyed it. But to be honest, the time traveler bit didn’t fit with the rest of the story. It felt like a last minute addition and sort of spoiled the whole ending for me. I could have gone with 4 stars if the ending wasn’t so odd.

A Laird for All Time by Angeline Fortin- 3 stars. Mistaken identity is a common problem for time travelers. Ok, maybe not. So in spite of the outrageousness of time travel and a doppelganger or two, this was a fun read. I could really ‘feel’ the love growing between the couple. This is important to me. There a plenty of ups and downs to keeps it interesting, but not so much that I felt distracted.

Out of Time by Monique Martin- 3.5 stars- a couple catapulted through time trying to figure out how to get home. There are vampires and time machines and all sorts of things tossed into this story. The author has a great sense of humor too. Fun to read.

The Legend of the Bloodstone by E.B. Brown -4 stars- This was a fast paced read. I was captivated by this story. The book has a few turns and more than one danger and a handful of enemies that really keep things moving. All the while, two people fall in love and are pulled in many directions by duty, deception, loss, or fear. On top of all that there is the time stranded modern woman trying to somehow fit into the past. Best story in this collection.

I loved this compilation of different books. Unfortunately...it made me want to read almost ALL the rest of the books in the series by two of the writers. That's alot of fun reading.. LOL

Its a great way to find out if you will or won't like a certain writers vision or their style of writing. After reading all of them I ended up reading ALL of Woodbury and Monique Martin's books.

Loved them all and can't wait for their next books in their series' to come out!! They were my 2 favorite of the authors included in this offering.

Daughter of Time by Sarah Woodbury
This short time travel story prompted me to stop reading this book and continue on with the After Cilmeri series which this story begins. Really great story and very interesting series. One of my favorite things about this short was its ending which I won't reveal but needless to say it was surprising.

Meg is an interesting heroine who accidentally drives back in time with her daughter and meets the last great prince of Wales. And then history changes.

Lost Highlander by Cassidy Cayman
Evelyn is a grad student who drops everything to run to Scotland when her best friends calls telling her that something is wrong with the inheritances she's received.

Very odd entertaining short. Mysterious time travelers and curses along with modern love stories. It was entertaining, as I said, but not overly intriguing.

The Beginning by Ranay James
Nic McKinnon is being forced to marry Morgan Pembridge who unbeknownst to him has been a prisoner of her lands since the death of her parents. Just as Nic is going to claim his bride he stumbles upon a boy fleeing his destination only to discover the boy is actually his betrothed in disguise.

This story felt like a real book rather than a short and while it was a good story it wasn't overly great. I'd almost forgotten this story was part of a time travel anthology until I reached the end of the story and discovered the connection to time travel.

A Laird For All Time
Emmy travels back in time while vacationing in Scotland only to come face to face with the Laird of Duart Castle who recognizes her as the wife who ran away from him nearly 10 years prior.

This was a fun romp through the Highlands with a more modern historical romance than we usually get out of Highland Romance stories. There was a bit of intrigue and a lot of hurt feelings to get over.

Out of Time by Monique Martin
Professor Simon Cross and his assistance Elizabeth West accidentally travel back in time to 1920s Manhattan where the Supernatural is alive and well and fascinated by Elizabeth.

I found this story rather strange. I got stuck on this story and it took me longer to read this book than I'd hoped.

Elizabeth and Simon have a small amount of chemistry but the story mostly felt like an odd way to bring them together while revealing the idea that Vampires and Time Travel are real.

Legend of The Blood Stone
Maggie is cleaning out her barn when she cuts her hand on something. When she goes to investigate she's suddenly thrust back in time to Jamestown 1622 where she comes face to face with a fierce Powhatan warrior named Winn who has made a vow to kill all Time Walkers.

This story seemed out of place as the majority of the stories (save the previous) were set in Europe. However, it didn't take me long to become completely interested in this story and willing to read more.

Winn and Maggie clash as they are from different times and vastly different cultures but they quickly figure out that despite all misunderstandings they really want to be with the other.

This story isn't all sunshine and roses as Jamestown 1622 was a dangerous place with tensions between settlers and Native Americans. This story (and I would assume subsequent stories) aren't for the faint of heart though I suspect well worth the time.

Over all it was a very good book for the money....the best $.99 I have spent in a long time. if one is confined to the house because of rain, there's no better way to spend it. For the most part, I want my romance novels to have a good hea (happy ever after) and this book delivers it well. While all the stories are centered around a common theme and lcation, each had a different way of getting you there and it goes without saying, there are a couple of stories here that I will go on to read their sequels.
