A century ago, I shattered the bond between me and my mate. Now our paths are colliding once again.

My sire has returned, and no one in London is safe. Least of all Deacon—we might have been apart for 100 years, but to Tamesis, Deacon is still the wolf who tempted me away.

As bodies begin to pile up, Deacon and I struggle to fight a bond that desperately wants to heal. I have vampires to protect. He has packs to reassure. We should be focusing on anything but each other, and we do not have time to dwell on mistakes of the past.

But the closer Tamesis gets, the more the monster in me fights to rise again. Forget the clan, the packs, the mages… I have always been a selfish creature, and I will not let him have my wolf, even if it is the very last thing I do.

Out For Blood is a fated mates, second chance MM urban fantasy featuring the repressed crai of the vampires and the alpha wolf he never stopped loving. It contains steamy scenes and all the violence—and blood—you might expect from a vampire romance. This is the third in a three-book series, where each book features a different relationship within one overarching plot, and cannot be read as a standalone.

😍👉 From the very first chapter, this book gripped me and didn’t let go.
Alexandra Keillor’s writing is as captivating as ever, perfectly blending action, emotional depth, and steamy romance, the non-stop twists and turns kept me glued to the pages, making it an exhilarating read.
The world-building continues to impress, creating a vivid and dangerous London where vampires, wolves, and mages fight for survival and love.

👉🐾🩸The tension between Vasile and Deacon is electric. Their century-long separation, filled with regret and unspoken longing, makes every interaction pulse with emotion. Seeing their bond rekindle was both heart-wrenching and beautiful.
Vasile and Deacon’s story beautifully demonstrates that true love can endure even the darkest times.

👉 Tamesis, the antagonist, adds a chilling layer to the story.
His manipulation of Vasile in the past created wounds that only true trust and love could heal.

👉 The favorite, perfectly mismatched pack, Kieran, Sam, Lucian, Drew, Adam, Dante, and Ophelia, along with important characters from other communities, such as Moreau, Chaya, and Lark, add depth and warmth, tying the trilogy together beautifully.

👉 The battle scenes are intense and cinematic... I could imagine every detail unfolding like a movie. 👌

🧛‍♂️👄🩸🌑 & 🐺🌕🐾🌲🌒

■ "Deacon: "Don’t start thinking you’re in charge here, lupul meu,” he replies, and there’s enough steel in his voice to send heat shuddering down my spine. “We’ll survive this first.”
“We will.”' 🤞

■ Vasile: “Yes, lupul meu?” My wolf. Always my wolf. 😍

■ Deacon: "Remember when we first met?”
Vasile bares his fangs. “I remember.”
“You were covered in blood, Vas. Like you’d bathed in it. And your eyes…” I swipe my thumb below one, and the tremble that passes through him tells me how still he’s holding himself. “They were still glowing. You were so hungry.”
He growls. “I wasn’t. I was a monster. I—”
“You were mine. From that moment. The first one.” 💘

■ "Vasile: I hum, leaning down to brush my lips over his. “Oh? I suppose we will have a lot of sleep to catch up on.”
Deacon huffs a laugh against my mouth. “I’ll mate you outside under a full moon,” he says, and the words are heavy with promise. “We’ll never be apart again.”
...
"I’ll hunt you first, lupul meu,” I say, and he shivers, eyes dark and hazy with lust. “And then you can hunt me back.”
Deacon grins into our next kiss, and I don’t need words to know what he’s thinking." 🌕🤌

🧛‍♂️👄🩸🌑 & 🐺🌕🐾🌲🌒

🤓I'm definitely going to read this again.
🤭 I’m already counting the days until the spin-off. Vasile and Deacon’s journey may have concluded, but I need more of this world and its amazing side characters.

✅️ Highly recommended!
This is more than a love story... it's about resilience, healing, and the power of second chances. If you love well-crafted paranormal romance with unforgettable characters, this trilogy is a must-read!

🐺ARC REVIEW🧛🏻‍♂️
Yes to every single little thing about this book. And the other two. This trilogy is absolutely amazing and Alexandra has managed to create an amazing paranormal romance with vivid characters and a more than solid plot. The stakes have been rising for two books and we have witnessed the formation of alliances, the creation of new packs, the death of foes. But we are still feeling the threat of Tamesis, the final super evil antagonist that needs to be defeated once and for all. Deacon, wolf boss, and Vasile, the vampire boss, we're mates a hundred heads ago, but due to evil dude, their bond was broken. Thank you for making me cry in the first 12 pages, Alexandra.... They've been apart but sharing the city for a few years and the time is due for them to reunite and fight the enemy. And what a reunion it is! Deacon and Vasile are perfect, they have a few things to say each other before they turn the possessiveness to the max. I just love them.

And then we have the quite intricate plot, in which Kieran and his people have A LOT to do. The twists and turns, and evil guys are evilness incarnated and I'm all for that. I want to know more about the fae... 👀

I'm obsessed with this series. That's it. Go read it, please and thank you.

First things first - I’ve low-key had a thing for Vas since book 1 😊 I think it’s the “silent, calm, knowledge-is-power” vibe I see in him and he reminds me a little of Dracula (Gary Oldman – yum) so I am very very happy he got his book! And I cannot tell you how much I loved it. NGL, my obsession with him is a little OTT and I was so worried Vas wouldn’t live up to the idea I had in my head for him!!FYI - He didn’t, he totally surpassed it and I cannot begin to tell you how happy that made me 😊 (I’m a bit of a loner, I live through books and I’m not afraid to admit it haha). He is perfect, absolutely perfect and I think what I loved most about him in this is that, even though we see a decent amount of him in books 1 & 2, we don’t really see him as he is. Here he's literally been put on a slab for us to see every tiny part of him and he is perfect (well he’s not, he has his flaws but he’s still perfect!). He & Deacon together are 2 pieces that fit together perfectly and, up until the final chapter of BT I’d never have even considered them to be together. Now I can’t ever picture them apart.

So much of this was just... Perfect. The scenes in the flat were stunning and, sex stuff aside, the way they were with each other, totally vulnerable but absolute equals was written beautifully.

This series/trilogy has 100% changed the way I see paranormal books and I am so so happy I found them and the author. Absolutely cannot wait to see what comes next in this world 🖤

That ending though... Gah!! The last chapter was just epic (no spoilers but I'm glad what happened happened 😁)

Book 1 quick recap - Lucien and Kierans love story. There’s a council of Vampires, vampire clans , hunter councils and clans and humans. Very organised , very 2024. This is a supernatural world that includes werewolves and magic users as well.

Book 2 - This book is a MMM love story between Sam, Drew and Adam. A new pack is formed with Kieran as its Alpha.

This is the story of Vasile, Crai of the vampires and Deacon, alpha wolf. 100 years ago they were in love and bonded but Tamesis (Vasile’s sire) was the catalyst for their bond severing.

Now, from what I remember of the other books, it’s present time and Vasile and Deacon have not been together in a room since. Apart from the end chapter in book 2 .

Tamesis and his minions are on a rampage and no one is safe. I assume he is out for …well not world domination but maybe control over London? I’m not sure his end goal after his killing spree .

“I thought young people were all on their phones nowadays,” Vasile mutters darkly, and I can’t help the way my mouth twitches.”

“Should I be embarrassed that we’re being rescued by a bunch of unruly pups?”

Haha these two inner silver foxes !🤣

I feel like Vasile and Deacon have perhaps martyred themselves to save the other. And of course they both don’t realise because they haven’t communicated with each other.

“He doesn’t want me. He hasn’t wanted to speak to me in almost a century, and yes, I haven’t fixed that either, but—“

Visale and Deacon can still feel their shattered bond. They want to work out all their problems, doubts and fears but first Tamesis needs to be dealt with.

Tamesis is wanting Visale back as his strongest warrior . Again, not sure why he is in need of Visale or what the plans are. They definitely involve revenge and power.

There’s talk of a necromancer who may be of some help. Google says they use magic to communicate with the dead. ( I couldn’t remember what they were exactly- my bad.) So are they witches or mages? Or a whole other category?

Vasile and Deacon have sexy times and are communicating better. There’s been no one else in the 100 years for either of them. Because they are it for each other.

“Deep down, maybe. I don’t like that you left me.” “I don’t like that you didn’t chase me.”

The Wolves, Vampires and Hunters are all working collectively to bring down Tamesis.

There’s a big climatic finish between the good and bad guys and then the happily ever after.

This book , like its predecessors focuses heavily on the action packed supernatural storyline’s , while the romance is a slow burn. I could have done with more romance but it was a well written supernatural action adventure book .

Maybe I read too many books with not much plot and too much smut ? 🤣

Out for Blood is the third book in Alexandra Keillor’s Monsters of London series, and I was eager to dive into the story after being hooked on Bad Blood and Blood Ties. With many elements I was interested in exploring in more detail – not to mention, curiosity about the couple – I happily jumped into the third book and devoured the story.

As I had hoped, Out for Blood was a story that I could not put down. Once I started, I gladly devoured it in a single sitting due to my desperation to see how elements would come together. Although there were some details I wish had been explored more – I would have liked to explore some of the details about what had happened in the past in more detail – it was not enough to remove my enjoyment of what was happening as the story played out. Despite the character doing things that annoyed me – their inability to properly communicate and doing things to protect the other without sharing details – I had a lot of fun watching things play out between them. Not to mention, it combined the elements of this storyline together in a way I had a lot of fun watching come together. While a little too easy toward the end, there were enough new elements introduced that I am curious to see what spin-off stories will come. In some ways, I would say my excitement for what is to come next is higher than my excitement for this conclusion was.

All in all, this is well worth the read for those who enjoyed the prior books. It concluded the bad guy arc well while leaving you eager for more of the world. I will certainly be diving into more from the author in the future.

That was a nice finish to the trilogy.

First and most important, at least to me, we finally get to know the details of what happened that night with Adam, Lucien and Nathan... And I'm glad, though I have to say that it probably would have hit more deeply if the story have been told in either of the previous books when the characters involved were the leads and we could see more of their reactions but I appreciated finally knowing what happened.

Vasile and Deacon were a beautiful couple, though a bit frustrating when one tried to talk and the other stopped him... But luckily, when I was reaching my limit on how much longer I could see them avoiding the issue, they FINALLY talked and it felt amazing, so cathartic... And they get their sweet moments which they truly deserved, poor guys had been through so much and seeing them so in love with each other after a hundred years apart was beautiful.

I loved seeing Kieran and his little pack, I really like them all. And we finally get a conclusion to all the problems that Thamesis has been causing. Though I didn't imagine that was the way it would go down. It was pretty much a rollercoaster of emotions, I was sometimes frustrated by some of both MCs' decisions but I could also understand a bit their reasoning though I wasn't completely in agreement.

The author finished the overall story but left us some little hints of possible new characters for other books, and it seems we might see more of the Fae... I have to admit that I'm really intrigued by the Fae that the author presented in her books and I would absolutely read more stories about them.

If I have to complain slightly about something is the lack of some reminders of characters or facts, I was specially having trouble remembering the differences between normal mages and true mages, I mean I read A LOT and mainly about magic, shifters, vampires, Fae, etc... and even though the base is more or less the same all authors add some little facts that are different from one another, and sometimes trying to remember which details are from which story is hard... I've read the first two books about three months ago and my memory on some of those details was a bit fussy... I would have appreciated at least a couple lines to remind us, after all the information about the mages is something we learn along many other characters in book 2, so it wouldn't have been so out of place.

Overall it was a good book, with a nice finish.

POV: dual
Tropes: second chance romance, vampire/werewolf, fated mates.
Spice: medium (detailed scenes, a bit of consensual rough play, sexy chase through the woods, primal play, biting and marking)
CW: violence, blood, kidnapping, death, mentions of torture (side characters).

A MM Second chance romance with Wolf-Shifter x Vampire and some long-time-coming justice/revenge!
I found this series by it's book 2 & yay it's finally complete! The blurb got me intrigued. I did skip prologue, skip/skim some lore-heavy scenes in 1st half (as I haven't YET read book 1-2) but I couldn't stop myself from reading the rest, especially those last 10 chapters! So I'd like this added in my reading challenge ❤️. Loved Vasile, Deacon & the gang <3. Read in 6hrs, over 2 days!

Vasile is not a name I've seen, but I did read a Vasily (in a RH book heh) before! Vasile is the enigmatic vampire & Deacon is the loyal wolf Shifter that changed everything for V. Both are leaders. So my main question was why they broke their bond. Misunderstanding? Secrets? Safety? It was something more intricate!

I was screaming at them to talk & it was satisfying when they did 😍. Their care for eachother makes me melt, even if it leads to some questionable choices 🙈. I loved their friends, & RIP to those who died for the cause 😭. The suspense, prophecy & action was fun! I hope to binge this series soon.

Oh, this was good.
The intricate plot, which reaches across all three books, makes it necessary to read this books in order.
But is is also so well written.

I found all the hints we got about these two in the last two books intriguing and was curious what happened between them ... and it was different than I thought.

I am no fan of the miscommunication trope but here it was well done and made (most of the time) sense.

I loved how they found their way to each other in the end

A very well written, suspenseful book with a great story and a well done romance .... there should be more series like that

Out For Blood is the third book in the Monsters of London series. This is not a standalone and books should be read in order. After how much I loved the first two books in this series I couldn't wait to read this book and WOW did I enjoy it. I couldn't put it down once I started. This is Deacon an alpha werewolf and Vasile an ancient vampire. These two are fated mates who broke the bond a 100 years ago but are back together. I just loved these two so much. I just enjoyed the rollercoaster ride this book was. I can't wait to read whatever Alexandra Keillor writes next. I would definitely recommend this book and series as 5 star reads.

This is what we have been waiting for/working towards, the culmination of the overarching plot. There are so many things happening that you will not get bored and everything is centered around destroying Tamesis. This is the third book in the series and you need to read the books in order so you can understand the overarching plot.

In this book we get to experience Vasile(crai of the vampire clan) and Deacon(alpha of the wolf packs)'s second chance at love/a mating bond, while also diving deeper into the Tamesis problem. I felt like plot wise there was a lot going, which was needed because a lot of things needed solving. At the same I felt like we needed a bit more of Deacon and Vasile, but I undertand that both of them are leaders of their groups and that a lot of what they do centers around the people they need to take care of and keep safe, so it also made sense why the book focused more on what was happening in their world.
I loved that we got to read about their history, whether it be before they met, while they were together and in the 100 years since. Both of them did what they thought was best to save the other 100 years prior and they haven't talked since. Now with everything coming to a boiling point they are also trying to reignite their flame and fix their mating bond. While they haven't changed a lot in the last century, they have changed a bit, so their dynamic is a bit different. And while they were equals in their relationship 100 years ago, Deacon felt like he was the one following Vasile around and since then he's matured and has come into his own, which I think really helped them this time around. Their feelings towards each other are still as present as ever and they are still willing to do anything to save each other. Deacon is the ultimate caretaker and I loved watching him take care of everyone.

The characters from the other books feature heavily in this book as well, so we got to see more of the other fated mate bonds in action, but we also got to see other beloved side characters.
I really enjoyed this book. It was fast paced, a lot of things going on at once, with some angst, but everything got resolved in the end. The writing flowed really well in my opinion and I was hooked on the story and was very curious to see the culmination of this big overarching plot. Now it's time for me to go read the little extra stories and spend some more time with these characters.

I received a copy of this book from the Author, and this is my honest review.

Deacon & Vasile
Wolf & Vampire, both current leaders of their clans/packs, but haven't spent time together for over a century. A former bond between them broken by the very villain that has plagued the Monsters of London series over 3 books.

The prologue in this story is incredibly heartbreaking, because you can feel the anguish and guilt from both our resilient MCs. It really hurt to read what Vasile had to do to save Deacon just at the burgeoning of their relationship. Neither of them deserved it, no matter who or what Vasile was before his bond began forming with Deacon.

Deacon & Vasile have such different personalities, but both have endured their lonely hearts for far longer than anyone could truly understand or comprehend. It takes their bond-breaking villain coming back to even bring them into the same room again. But once they spend any significant time with one another, it's clear that while weakened, their bond potential never went away, and they know they need one another, both as mates, and to save their lives.

The detail in this series is phenomenal and so memorable. Each scene, each moment is truly engaging and visually depicted within your imagination, and you're pulled even deeper into the paranormal universe. I love stories where the paranormal beings are unknown to everyday humans. It makes their stories that much more powerful, because you know the extra level of stress and exhilaration it adds to their situations. It always makes me wonder if there is something out there that none of us actually know about. 🙃

Out for Blood is an incredible book to round out the three main relationships of the MCs in this series. I know the story/universe is not done, but with the main villain of this group conquered, they all deserve their time to celebrate their victory and their evolving relationships, including their mating rites/ceremonies. This series definitely needs to be read in order to understand and enjoy the others, but each book is more than worth your time. I could say more, but I certainly don't want to give anything away. I really look forward to reading back through the series when I next have the chance.

I received an advance copy of this book and am volunteering my honest review.

OUT FOR BLOOD concludes the Monsters of London but I'm hoping it's not the end of this world!

Vasilie and Deacon have successfully avoided each other for two books and now we find out why. Tamesis (the big bad of the trilogy) is Vasilie's sire and 'just a tad' obsessed. And it seems he was just the same one hundred years ago. He puts a major spanner in the works for Vas and Deacon, leading to them both running away from the other and trying to deal with the consequences of the choices they made. But now Tamesis is back on the scene and both Vas and Deacon realise their feelings (and the bond) aren't as dormant as they thought!

The scenes with Vas and Deacon, both together and separately, show you quite clearly just how their minds and feelings worked, one hundred years ago and in the present. There is pining, longing, tenderness, hotness, you name it. Neither their story nor the overarching one suffers from the other one getting page time. Both of them fit perfectly with the other, giving the reader a well-rounded, spectacular read.

You really need to read this as a trilogy to understand it all, but you will love it if you have! Kieran's pack is as wonderful as ever, and I finally, FINALLY, found out just why Tamesis attacked Kieran so many years ago. Talk about a self-fulfilling prophecy. The overarching story was superbly finished, and I found all the answers I needed.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by me and I really hope to return to this world again.

4.5⭐️This is the 3rd book in the Monsters of London. You absolutely must read this series in order since it’s an ongoing storyline even though each book has new MCs. I was lucky enough to get an ARC of the first book Bad Blood. I admit the cover and blurb got me. Vampires and werewolves-sign me up. I was hooked from the first chapter. I’d never heard of this author before but it was apparent from the start that they can write! The world building was fantastic and the character development was so good I immediately wanted books for every side character introduced. Speaking of which -book 3 has the two guys I was shipping hard for Vas and Deacon ❤️ These star crossed lovers have been through some rough times and fight hard for their HEA. The action is nonstop and the heat is high in this one just like the others. Even though we get a conclusion to the main storyline I’m hopeful that we’ll get many more stories from this universe. There’s just too many characters that I need more of.

The only thing that would have made this better were some chapters from the previous MC POV. There was so much happening to everyone that I really wanted to see first hand how it all went down. Hopefully we’ll get some more bonus material of it all. This author overall though does a fantastic job of giving you a really intense and fulfilling story without having to make the book overly long.

This series has quickly become one of my favorites in the mm paranormal genre. Love it!

I was so excited to see this book come out. I believe it was a long time coming and so needed to happen. You had to know what happened. So thankful that the author decided to write it.

This is Crai Vas and Alpha Deacon's story and what a story. These two had a bond and it was broken over 100 years ago due to Vas's sire. These two haven't seen or spoken to each other since their mating bond was broken however that doesn't stop either of them from still wanting each other. When Vas's sire, Tamesis is back, Vas will not let anything happen to Deacon. Deacon doesn't want to fail Vas again on protecting him and he will do whatever it takes to keep him alive.

These two have battles to face, people to protect and to go after the man that broke their mating bond. They will do whatever it takes to make sure that no more people get hurt. However, the more wolfs & vampires showing up dead is not looking good, they must now join together in order to make it all stop.

These two needed their story and so glad it was a way to end the series. You couldn't have asked for a better story. This series will be one that I will re-read again. I do hope we get some other books to see how all of them are doing but that is just wishful thinking on my part :)

I received an ARC through Gay Romance Reviews and this is my honest review.

🌶🌶🌶

This series was an unexpected amazing ride! This is Book 3 in the Monster's of London Trilogy and they do have to be read in order as there is an overarching plot between the 3.

We meet Vasile and Deacon as the heads of their respective houses between book 1 and 2. This book gives us their background and what happened to set everything in motion from the first 2 books.

This second Chance was done perfectly. There was no un-needed additional angsty plot between the 2 (believe me there is enough going on with the regular plot here lol) It was just 2 people realizing they both made mistakes but in the end still really loved each other. Big Daddy Deacon is how he is known in my head now..the way he just wants to protect his pack and genuinely support everyone in Kieran's makes me just love him altogether. Vasile is our broken boy here who just needs all the love. This was by far my favorite of the 3 Though Lucien and Kieran hold a special spot in my heart. There were plot twists all over the place here I was screaming at my kindle a few times for sure but this was absolutely fantastic.

I would like to thank GRR for the opportunity to read and review this ARC.

Ahhhhh this was so awesome!! I'm so sad the Monsters of London trilogy is done, but i'm holding out for more from this universe because it has been one of the more plotty MM urban fantasies i've read to date, and i am a big fan of AK's world of sexy and diabolical supernaturals! This was the wrap i needed and wanted! I LOVED Vasile and Deacon together. And even though it took me almost the first quarter to remember everyone and everything that was going on, i was fine with the narrative giving me what i needed to get me through this drama! When these ancients go at love they are sooo ott about it and i love it so much lol!

So yes, i thought this had great energy, plotty but not overwhelming, sexy without gratuitous sex every 3 pages, and a familiar yet still intriguing world i'd love to read more about! i'm happy i got into this series and had a chance to discover Keillor's work, because now i'm a fan for life! i can't wait for what's next because i'm sure it will be wild and i'm here for all of it!

I loved Bad Blood and Blood Ties, but THIS was the book I most wanted to read. Vasile and Deacon's story. They've been separated for about a hundred years. Vas ripped apart their bond trying to save both his wolf lover, Deacon, and hunter ally, Moreau from his evil sire, Tamesis. Vas kills him, but Tamesis didn't stay dead.
Just like the first two books, there's lots of action, good worldbuilding and the politics of maintaining the vamp/wolf/Hunter treaty. Lots of angst here, as both Vas and Deacon regret their actions the last time they were together. There's violence, blood and betrayal. Nice steam and sizzle between the main characters. Also stubbornness and lack of communication. Which figures, Vas is the vampire crai and Deacon is the Alpha of London.
Worldbuilding is excellent. Secondaries are varying levels of supportive and protectiveness. All the mains from the two prior books are here. This is supposed to be book three in a trilogy. But Ms Keillor has laid the tracks for a continuance or a spin-off. Maybe more Fae.
I received an advanced copy from GRR and this is my review.

What a fabulous ending to the trilogy

I absolutely adored these three books, devoured them greedily from first page to last. Every single character is distinct and had their own part to play in the overarching story, which was woven seamlessly alongside the romances of the main characters in each book.
I loved Vasile and Deacon from what we saw of them individually in the first two books, and I was so happy to learn that they had a history and would be the stars of this book. This was very bittersweet, with a lot of heartbreak in their past that is rearing its ugly head in the present, but there is a lot of love that can't and won't be denied too. They were perfect together, even when they weren't actually together. Such a deep love and a wonderful ending to the trilogy.
This is a tightly-written trilogy, every sentence needed with no padding in the stories. Alexandra has a brilliant imagination coupled with dramatic flair and empathy for her characters. I can't wait to see what she comes up with for the next books set in this world. Fingers crossed it's Moreau next, then Lark, or maybe Moreau and Lark?

YES, YES, YES!!! 5 stars across the board!!!!!

Ms. Alexandra's amazing writing had me completely riveted by the action and romance that existed in this exciting paranormal world.

Our MCs are two star-crossed lovers who have been apart for way too long. With one a shifter, and the other a vampire, these men must find their way back from what both see as the ultimate failure. While each man is the leader of his respective people, they must find ways to forgive, reunite and work together in order to defeat a powerful enemy.

After many years of no contact, trouble with outside forces soon begins to take over, resulting in a much needed forced proximity as one MC has no choice but to go into hiding. This close contact becomes the start of a emotional roller-coaster between professional & personal aspirations. Though our MCs have secretly pined and held on to their love for each other throughout the years of their breakup, it's a slow burn to a renewed HEA as both try their best to prioritize the safety/ needs of his pack/clan.

Welcome to the epic saga of Crai Vas and Alpha Deacon, a wild ride of passion, drama, and action! Once inseparable, these two were ripped apart over a century ago by Vas’s malicious sire, Tamesis. Though they've been apart for ages, the chemistry between them is undeniable. With Tamesis resurfacing, Vas is ready to fight for Deacon’s safety, while Deacon vows to never let Vas down again. Together, they face epic battles, revenge, and a quest to protect those they love.

After a long period of tension, Vas and Deacon finally have an emotional heart-to-heart, healing their bond and providing sweet moments amid their dramatic journey. Alongside them is Kieran and his charming pack, who bring their own appeal to the story. The finale wraps up Tamesis’s threat in a surprising way, leaving readers on an emotional rollercoaster. Though some of the duo’s choices were frustrating, the drama only enhanced their love story. The series concludes with a satisfying ending, but with hints of future adventures, particularly involving the mysterious Fae.

This amazing series concludes with Out for Blood and everything comes together in an intense battle. Out for Blood centers on Vasile, a vampire, and Deacon, a werewolf. Vasile is the vampire crai and one hundred years ago, he shattered his bond with his sire, Tamesis, as well as the bond with his mate, Deacon. Now the two are reunited as Vasile’s sire is back and wants more than just revenge. Working together, Vasile and Deacon find the love is still there, but neither one is truly safe. Vasile is desperate to keep Deacon safe from Tamesis while Deacon feels the same way. The bodies of vampires, hunters, magical practitioners and werewolves are piling up. The final battle is coming with all our friends from the prior stories needed. Each has a role to play and only if they work together will they be successful. Reading this whole series has been intense and captivating. Once you start, you will not be able to stop.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

You need to read the first two books for background before reading this book.

Second chance romance is not my favorite trope, but this one worked really well. It was nice to finally get the background for Vasile and Deacon, which turned out to be way more critical to the overall trilogy plot than I was expecting. The second book is my favorite out of the trilogy, but this book did a really good job of wrapping up a lot of the overall plot and filling in some of the missing pieces from the previous books.

I do think communication was still a weak point for the characters. They are so busy trying to "protect" everyone that no one gets told everything which means there vulnerabilities that the bad guys can exploit and characters that get surprised at the wrong moment (finding out critical information in the middle of battle is a little distracting). I understand not everyone needs to know everything, but communication is still essential.

Wow! This series has been beyond fantastic but we truly go out with a bang for the end of this trilogy!!! When two leaders who have a factures bond must band together to save their respective followers. When their mutual enemy ramps up their mission and the bodies begin to follow, a new problem develops. As they work together, the love they shared and the bond that is fractured is pulsing with need to be fixed and restored. Will both men be able fix what is between them while protecting those who rely on them? This finale of a three book series answers all of our remaining questions and give us the satisfaction of a true finale. Vas and Deacon are an endgame in a trilogy that we have been blessed to have been given throughout 2024. Get this on your TBR, if you have not started the series. Buy all three books because once you start book you'll be clamoring for the next two and gearing up to read them again.

Love story - adventure, adventure - love story, WOW! Lots going on here. Excellent finale to the trilogy. This series, has been riveting and Vasile and Deacon were together, and then they were not. They had a 100 year break. Tamesis, Vasile's sire returns and is intent on creating massive mischief. Vasile is responsible for the vampires and Deacon has any packs to protect. Tamesis believes Deacon is the problem drawing Vasile from him and intends to enact retribution and chaos. Vasile's and Deacon's efforts to be strong for and defend their groups while fighting the pull to each other, is epic! Vasile and Deacon, are amazing. Characters from previous stories make an appearance allowing us to see how they are getting on. The author has done an amazing job making us feel the pull, the love the determination to help, save protect and strengthen the bond. I took a deep breath at the end. Nicely done. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.

What a great conclusion for a fantastic trilogy!

Having loved the first two books in the series, this final book was HIGHLY anticipated and it delivers.

I loved these two. We've previously only seen them as stoic leaders, so to see them as friends, lovers, and being "human" in a sense, was welcomed. Yes, you get romance and truly fun smut. BUT ALSO the world building, political intrigue, and various relationships and partnerships made this a well rounded read. So many great twists and turns. And the cameos of the characters from previous books we know and love? YES PLEASE!

My only critique is wanting more chapters in the past to understand some of the history between characters.

But overall, I'm happy with this read and where we leave these characters. They're better than we found them and its well deserved!

Thank you to the author for the ARC in exchange for my honest review. I'm so grateful and CAN'T WAIT for what's next. This author is one to watch over and over!

4.5 ⭐️’s.
This is the conclusion of the Monster’s of London series. It is a second chance romance, with all the drama and plot twists you would expect from this series. I loved Deacon and Vasile (even if I did want to shake them a few times)! After breaking their bond a hundred years ago, they still have a deep love for each other. It ties up a lot of the loose ends from the previous books. I would have liked to have a little more detail about past events, but it didn’t affect my enjoyment of the book. Now that all 3 books are out, I plan to re-read them back to back so that everything is fresh in my mind. I loved the way things wrapped up and that defeating Tamesis was a group effort. I look forward to reading any spin-offs that come out of this world.

This is the third book in a series, and for important overarching plot reasons, a gentle note here that you’ll want to start at the beginning, if you haven’t already. In many ways, this is my favorite book of the series: not only do various narrative threads finally weave themselves into place, but Vasile and Deacon are fascinating characters with a strong, complex but also at its heart deeply simple and powerful bond. Do I wish they would communicate better, and sooner? Yes, deeply yes, but I understand why I don’t. For plot and romance and just general immersiveness, this is a compelling read: easy to pick up and hard to put down.

Out for Blood is the third book in Alexandra Keillor’s Monsters of London series.
This is not a standalone and books should be read in order.
This book gives us Deacon an alpha werewolf and Vasile an ancient vampire. These two are fated mates who broke the bond a 100 years ago but are back together.
There is pining, longing, tenderness, hotness, you name it and it's here.
Though our MCs have secretly pined and held on to their love for each other throughout the years of their breakup, it's a slow burn to a renewed HEA as both try their best to prioritize the safety/ needs of his pack/clan.
