Gareth is the pack's second. Scarred from a fight he doesn't think that any female would want him so he tends to avoid them. When Harmony returns to the pack for her teenage daughter to learn about being a shifter she is instantly attracted to Gareth but she doesn't think he would want her because she can't shift. Add in a jealous violent ex, pack politics, family dramas and you're in for a wild ride.

A lot of things are going on in this book. Gareth and Harmony get together pretty early on and there isn't a whole lot of drama from them as a couple. Most of it happens from external forces. I loved getting to read about a couple that weren't always denying how they felt and let their relationship happen naturally. There were some issues since Harmony's ex was abusive but they deal with them pretty quickly with communication and common sense.

I really liked Gareth and Harmony as a couple. They supported each other so they could reach their full potential. Gareth has some self-esteem issues but Harmony helps him see that his self-worth isn't reliant on his outward appearance. When Harmony is struggling with being unable to shift and having an ex that is basically stalking her, she is able to draw strength from Gareth and stand up for herself.

There are quite a few new characters introduced in this book. Gareth's brother, Micah's (the hero from Changing Focus) brother, Harmony's daughter and Keme to name a few. I hope there are many more books written in this series as each one expands the world that Mann has created. This is the fourth book in the Lusting Wild series and I believe it can be read as a stand alone. Some of the characters from the third book do make an appearance but it isn't necessary to have read that book to read this one. Although as with most series, it is best read in order.

This is my time reading a novel from Mann. This is also the fourth in the Lusting Wild Series. Saying all that I had no problem reading this book. I didn't feel as if I was missing any information that was in the previous books. However, lucky for me I have three books I can grab now and start reading and I can't wait. This was such a wonderful story of family, acceptance, and finding true love. The genre and story description caught my attention, but the story line and characters kept me glued to my e-reader. I became so invested in these characters I have to admit I believe I have found my new pack. If you're looking for an amazing shifter romance this is one series you can't miss.

Changing Paths is book 4 in the Lusting Wild series. It can be read as a standalone. I haven't read any of the other books in the series and I was not lost reading this one. Micah and Olivia are the main characters is book 3, Changing Focus. They are in the book too but this book focuses on the story of Harmony and Gareth. Harmony and Gareth story is a great story. Both seem to be broken and you can only hope while you read that they can together fix each other.
Harmony is moon denied and can't shift. Her being moon denied lead her to leave the pack. She is now returning to the pack with her daughter after leaving an abusive relationship. Her ex is moon denied too and is not ready to let Harmony and his daughter go.
Gareth is Second in the Pack. He is a loner and does not believe any one will expect him because of his scars. Then Harmony comes in. Neither Harmony or Gareth are looking for a relationship but fate has something else planned for them.
Harmony and Gareth don't really fight their feels for each other. Gareth is perfect. He even gets along with Harmony's daughter right away. Harmony and Gareth are perfect together. They both have past demons to overcome though. Harmony has also lived her life thinking she was moon denied but that may not be the case. Her ex is also lurking around causing problems but now she has Gareth and the pack to help her. Gareth also has some things he needs the deal with. His brother pops up and they both have some things to mend.
I loved reading this story. This was the first book I read in this series but I plan on reading the rest of the series

Harmony is finally coming home after years alone. She is moon denied and therefore could never do it for herself, but for her daughter she would do anything. Coming home brings not just her past, but also her future.

Gareth is a male shifter scarred by his past and forever shunned by female wolves because of his scares. Finding Harmony on the side of the road drives home the idea that there are some women who can see the proud wolf behind the scars and he begins to dream of a happily ever after for himself.

Harmony’s past is unwilling to let her go and follows her home determined to take back what is his.The wolves around Harmony know something she does not, but when her back is to the wall her whole world changes.

Ms. Mann brings a cast of characters like no other. The pack has no internal weaknesses and are as strong as a reader might expect. The excitement within the pages is more than the chemistry between Harmony and Gareth, but also the action and intensity of facing the enemy and coming out the victor. I highly recommend Changing Paths but warn once you have a taste of the amazing writing of Ms. Mann you will want to read the stories which came before.

Expensive, as all the EC imprints. And as the rest of them never really worth the price. It does try, I'm not sure why it fails. Nothing really grabs my interest, not even the "steam".
