I was so happy to stumble on Launch over the holidays. I finished reading it yesterday and learned (or re-learned) so many concepts to apply to my life!

I’m not Taylor’s target audience, by far. He writes to late teens and twenty somethings, the age group that defines all 5 of my children. But now that 3 of them have launched (where was this book when they needed it?!), and one is in the process, I find myself needing to re-launch as well.

Taylor’s organizational style is characterized by short, digestible chunks and is easy to follow. He includes a good balance of advice from leaders in his field, his own life experiences, and timely cultural examples. Each section ends with a “Jump in the River” challenge, a few suggestions for taking a “small next step.”

This book could be life-changing for teens and young adults, and for the adults who love and mentor them. But the no-nonsense instruction and advice on so many concepts will benefit anyone who reads this book. Who couldn’t use some help with relationships, career, finance, body/health, mindset, and more?LAUNCH: A Guide to Getting Unstuck, Navigating Life, and Thriving

Wow, as a young Gen Z person struggling in this digital age, with connections to my peers that feel distant because of technology, I often feel stuck or hard on myself about my choices in life. I love how he describes living through his twenties as a messy and beautiful journey. He provides prompts and tips to think about or write about. This is a book I would read on repeat.

I feel more comfortable and validated about my struggles. The book helped me understand that my obstacles and failures are meant to help me overcome, grow, and gain experience. It’s part of the messy journey we’re all on in life!

Thank you, Andrew, for making this book exist. I will recommend it to everyone I know, regardless of their age or life phase.
