New paranormal series HEA Wolf shifters and a human figuring out how to resolve their differences/romance Looking forward to reading the rest of the series
that'll teach Ryze, lol. I don't wanna say too much because, spoilers. but damn, watching Emori put him and all the prejudiced wolves in their place was *chef's kiss*. this is one tormenter to lover story I am ok with. because things didn't change because someone got hot. they changed through honest to goodness work and example. heck, to even get that far, they had to be tricked into it, lol. and the change didn't happen when Emori kicked butt. Ryze was already questioning his reasoning before she went and did what she had to do. totally worth the read!
Great start to a new series. I was a little nervous when the two leads were matched together after their known history, but prejudices were challenged pretty quickly, allowing for past mistakes and misunderstandings to be replaced with respect and strong bonds. I enjoyed the added elements beyond just the wolf dynamics that we knew about from the blurb. Emori was impressive in her own right and didn't let herself be treated as lesser. I'm interested to see more of these characters and learn more about the power behind them.
Because I value human narrators so much, I can’t bring myself to rate a virtual voice performance anything other than one star even though it wasn’t bad.
The story was interesting and held my attention. I liked that Ryze was paired with a human and I loved how Emori was able to handle herself when challenged. I'm ready to get the next book when it becomes available.
I read this is one sitting! I loved this paranormal story between a wolf shifter and a human. Emori and Ryze, have a long history, and now with the help of Xclusive dating agency, they might have an even longer history. Ryze underestimates the power Emori has until Sessy is kidnapped. Loved the hea and I'm looking forward to the next story.
Did not finish. stopped at 30 percent. Ryze is awful to humans. He thinks humans are inferior. Emori was bullied by Ryze. A matchmaker thinks they will be perfect for each other. I refuse to believe Ryze , who believes humans are below him and nothing, is going to change. Emori deserves better.
Very enjoyable tale of “human” and paranormal beings figuring life out. Loved the conflict and resolving of the issues and even the violence was meaningful.
This was a quick read. Ryze goes to the matchmaker so that he can find a new mate and someone to care for his child. Emori returns to Neptune. She is human but has powers. When the matchmaker provides two potential mates, both are invited back to the pack. Although most of the pack is concerned that Emori is a human, she fits in better with the pack than anyone expects. I'm interested to see what happens in book two.
