I've enjoyed the Valentino Heirs series of novellas so far, but I don't think this one worked that well as a novella. There was a lot of background on the characters, especially Kayleigh, that didn't get the time it deserved in my opinion and it made the entire story feel too rushed.
I'm still a big fan of these characters though and will love to get my hands on more of them.

Just as enjoyable as most of Kylie’s writing, but with the premise of FBI agent and a made man I REALLY would have loved to see this as a full novel instead. I think the potential was there for it to have gone so much more into depth and really work through the enemies to lovers aspect with the conflicting thoughts and feelings toward each other.

I'm always left wanting more from Kylie's Valentino Heirs novellas. And not because they aren't good, because they are too good and I'm never done with them.
Enzo was no exception. Middle child to Matteo and Savvy he's in college and part of the Valentino family business. He's smart, cocky, and plenty alpha even as a young Valentino.
It seems that Enzo's kryptonite is from the other side of the law. FBI agent Kayleigh is attending the same college as Enzo for one reason. To take the Valentinos down.
There is an instant little spark between these two but as I said Enzo is too smart and the beautiful new girl on campus in his class just seems a little too convenient. Luckily the Valentinos are all pretty clever and Dante gets to the bottom of who she is pretty quickly. There is more to Kayleigh's story though and Enzo quickly becomes invested in her and claims ownership pretty quickly.
Bringing an FBI agent home to a mafia family dinner isn't going to be easy though, but once these Valentinos fall there is no going back.
Keep the heirs coming Kylie, I don't know what I'll do when you're done.

The new girl in class catches Enzo's attention pretty quickly, but since his college doesn't usually take new students during the semester things don't add up. Luckily he knows just how to get to the bottom of it and all he needs is her picture.
Sure her cover is blown on the very first day Kayleigh begins to panic and wonder how to get out of the current situation with the least amount of fallout. She got into law enforcement to make sure that bad people got what they deserved but now she might lose her life and her career.
Keeping an eye on Kayleigh isn't a hardship. In fact, it's becoming more of an obsession. When she's in danger Enzo's protective instincts go into overdrive and he realizes just how screwed he is because he's gone and fallen for the enemy.
'I'm not supposed to fall for someone like her. A cop. A fucking FBI agent with a hard-on for putting my ass behind bars. My heart doesn't belong to her, and yet she's taken it anyway.'
Knowing just how bad things are getting for her Kayleigh decides it's best to pull the plug and get out before she winds up missing. It's not the Valentinos that she needs to worry about though and since she's alone it's likely no one will ever know what happened to her.
He shouldn't want her and he definitely shouldn't be keeping her but Enzo isn't letting Kayleigh go and anyone who tries to take her from him will feel the wrath of the Valentinos.
'I was supposed to be the one to break my little thief. On night with her and all I want to do is lock her up in a goddamn tower to make sure she's safe.'

it was an incomplete story
I knew the book wasn’t going to be great when the male and female leads started interacting after I read through 42 percent of the book. The story could have been interesting if the author took the time to make the relationship between the female and male leads authentic. We were asked to suspend belief that an FBI agent would jump in the sack with the mobster male lead who was the target of her investigation after hardly spending anytime with him. Similarly, the male lead decided that the female lead was the one after seeing her in class. While it is well written, it wasn’t a great story because the author make it an authentic or immersive reading experience with a complete story and character arcs.

I have luuurrvved the Heirs Novellas! Any glimpse into the Valentino family makes me giddy.
This particular novella was extra special to me (Thanks Kylie!) and I can’t wait to have the pretty foiled paperback in my hands!

Enzo's Piccolo Ladro
Loved Enzo and Kayleigh's story! It kept me wanting more and more. Enzo is no fool, so when the new girl shows up late into the semester he is on guard. With the help of Dante he finds out she is an FBI agent who is there for him and to take down his family. This little Piccolo Lado won't get away with that. He will beat her at her own game! I loved how the family is always intertwined. Aurora, wow just wow. Her story is the one that really intrigues me and I hope her story is coming out soon.

I have to say, as enjoyable as the Heir's have been, I honestly live to see the oldies in these books. The Valentino "oldies" as a grandfather, uncles, and fathers are hilarious! There's never a dull moment with that lot. Of course, the Heir's have their own brand of fun and hilarity. Enzo, like his cousins, falls first and falls hard. I love seeing a possessive Valentino man! Thoroughly enjoyed the read. Can't wait for Aurora's story.

💚Tânăra este dedicată cauzei sale și își dorește să ducă la sfârșit planurile de răzbunare, este o persona care crede în dreptate și nu concepe să aibă de-a face cu cei care sunt de partea greșită a legii. Numai ca întâlnirea ei cu Enzo Valentino schimbă totul și o face să își pună multe semne de întrebare în ceea ce privește scopul ei, dar mai ales în ceea ce privește sentimentele care iau naștere în sufleul ei.
💚Când cei doi sunt împreună ies scântei, se provoacă unul pe altul, iar pentru a pune punct atracție hotărăsc să petreacă o noapte împreună, ca mai apoi fiecare să meargă pe drumul lui. Enzo și Kayleight sunt explozivi împreună, sunt puternici și gata să facă orice pentru a-i apăra pe cei pe care îi iubesc. Kayleight vine cu un trecut dureros, cu o pierdere care a făcut-o să devină omul legii, dar întâlnirea ei cu Enzo Valentino va face ca totul să se schimbe și astfel ea descopera ca nu este totul doar alb și negru, ci există și acea zonă gri, în care cel care îi face inima să bată nebunește se află. Enzo este devotat familiei sale, dar întâlnirea cu micuța hoață, schimbă totul și va fi nevoit să aleagă între iubire și loialitate. Dacă recomand? Sigur ca da.

So Good!
Oh my goodness this was so good. I love Enzo. Well I love all the Valentinos to be honest. They each are different but similar. I love how they are with their women. I loved that T was in this one. Just a small scene but he is still the boss even though Theo has taken over. I love how close they all are.

OMG I THINK THIS ONE IS MY FAVOURITE OF THE VALENTINO HEIRS!!!
I loved this story so much, both Enzo and Kayleigh think they are playing each other when really they are both just falling for each other.
I highly recommend this series, 5 little novellas and with Days of Valentinos book released, their stories continue

These are short novella's that almost seem like they abruptly end. There are some cliffhanger like endings and that makes this reader a bit frustrated. I wanted a solid, concrete conclusion. The character's are the children of the main Valentino books and they are a fun extra, but of course it is never enough. Overall a good read, but where is the rest?!?

Angst Driven
This novella had the most angst in it. I kept to the edge of my seat throughout just waiting for something and I wasn't disappointed. Very good read. I actually like this couple a lot. And we got to see Lorenzo a bit as well. Looking forward to Auroras story!

The peak of enemies to lovers. I cannot scream loud enough how well this book played out. I expected great from Kylie and she absolutely did not disappoint. I did not however, expect it to be this freaking good. The plot twists. The swooning. The falling. All of it. Easy 5 star rating.

Wonderful
Ok all these Valentino's fall fast and hard and I love it. Like how can you not fall in love with these people they do anything and everything for family, and for their loved ones for their other half they will give up everything.
